Terrible online system, took £80 twice out of my account when I signed out with guest, it’s been weeks now back and fourth with customer service, is awful, couldn’t take any information of mine correctly over the phone. Email wasn’t even able to be taken so I had to use my husbands email with help from him, still hasn’t been resolved, I’ll never ever use George online ever again.

Scam: Never delivered the item but took the order George Asda took the order and kept the money for a week for a next day delivery microwave. After constant calls and follow ups, they eventually refunded the money but the item was never delivered. Lost one week when we direly needed the item. Just operating like a scam where they take orders, kept the money and then their fulfillment centre are very casual to just refund if the customer chases hard.

I bought two long lounge dresses i was appalled at the quality of stitching a round the neck it felt like barbwire this is not quality clothing cheap rubbish. I am not surprised they are on the fall.

I put a order in for 3 tea lights with delivery. I got no email confirmation and it didn't show in my George account but the money was impending in my bank account. I phoned Asda up and was told to contact my bank and that they are having problems and are trying to fix it. I said I will try one more time to order them and ring back. The same thing happens again. So I rang Asda back, don't worry the money won't leave your account I'm told, wait till its sorted then try to buy again. The next morn one of the monies has now gone to Asda and the other is pending. I rang my bank and got my pending money back but the one that's left into Asdas account I've now got to make a dispute to claim it back. Well I don't trust ordering from you ever again, when would I know if it's safe to order from them again?? I even on my end uninstall the app and reinstall and still there's problems. I think when they're having so many issues and causing customers with so much stress they should shut the site down while it's being fixed. Then when it's back open we all would know it's now safe to order.

Ordered a coat on 25th October for collection on 28th. Heard nothing from that point onwards. Called on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th November to be told to wait 24 hours and it’ll arrive in store. Woke up on 5th November to a refund in my account. Won’t order through them again.

Paid for next day delivery, two items came next day, two days later two more. A week goes by nothing for rest of items, I ring up they say they have been lost and will re send items. Another week goes by two more items turn up, no packaging (just an ornament in a cardboard box nothing else to protect it) one item smashed to bits. Ring up again say they will refund that item and other item that was still missing from package and my next day delivery money as it's been over two weeks. It's been two weeks since that call and no refund. Been over a month since order for next day delivery. Two phone calls later a broken item and a missing one and no promised refund. I'm about £25 out of pocket and alot of time on the phone wasted.

Ordered a chip fryer on Tuesday the 8th and expected it by Monday 14th of October. However, the tracking stood still on 8 th with Evri expecting it. When I called Asda they informed me it'd gone astray at Evri and offered a refund. When i asked what to do if it actually turned up the woman simply said ' we'll put a recall out to Evri ' , HOW could they get it back if it was lost there but I couldn't receive it? Something very fishy there.

I have had two weeks of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I order a set of three kitchen appliances and unfortunately, one of them didn't work. I contacted customer service to arrange a replacement for this one item and was told I'd have to return all three of them. They told me that I would receive the replacement the next day (I confirmed this 3 times) so I said they could collect the faulty set the next day. The items were collected but no replacement arrived. On the second call I was told that it would take 3-5 days for the replacements to be sent and the delivery date had been set as October 10th. Not ideal as I was now left with no toaster, kettle or microwave. They gave me a £10 voucher for the trouble as they couldn't speed it up. October 10th arrives but my replacement order doesn't. The tracking info I was sent for it turns out to be for the original order. I call again to be told the system show that the order is delayed but it should e with me in the next 24-48 hours. I ask for the correct tracking information to be sent, which they say they'll email once the call is ended. The tracking they sent was again for my original order. Final phone call the next day, I ask if they can confirm the order is coming today or tomorrow. Apparently, the system doesn't show a replacement order at all. The only order visible is my original order, so all those updates I was given were complete rubbish. I'm told they can update my account but it will take 24 hours so I'd have to call back so I end up asking for a refund and then having to ask for the postage cost to also be refunded as they weren't going to do this. I've now been left without kitchen appliances I needed for two weeks because of constant incorrect information, when I could have just been given a refund in the first place and have re-ordered by now.

Placed an order for next day delivery. Money taken but no email confirmation. Package didn’t arrive. I’ve called them 3 times today and they have no idea what’s going on. I’m having to send screenshots of my bank to prove the money has been paid. This is ridiculous! Judging by reviews from here and other places they do it all the time. Avoid

Item broken. Call :customer service, on hold for one hour, operator tells me the hold length I'd usual, ask for a recording of the call to be emailed to me and the operating hangs up on me. Contact via Facebook messenger, anas sends a replacement but refuses to address the call issue. Replacement arrives broken Contact via Facebook messenger, Barakah refuses to discuss call issue or Anas not addressing it. Noone at asda takes responsibility . I have asked to speak to managers. Ut that has been refused. Anas claimed not to have a manager. I have been really appalled by the lack of accountability. Anas said that the call centre was overseas, as though I should not be complaining about this, this is an Asda employee with an Asda customer it is an Asda customer service issue. Happy for you to contact me at the email address as I would love to speak to someone that is capable of rectifying this.

Ordered an item which wasn’t delivered ontime, item has been returned well over a month now but no refund issued. No being able to speak with anyone on the phone. Terrible customer service!!!!

received them. Told I had returned them. After a long, long, long time on WhatsApp calls to various people in Kenya regarding a refund on items I have not received and being asked continuously to log into my banking app, put my card details in, approve something regarding me "sending" over £700 on another app, I became very anxious and worried and ended the call. Why should a refund, for something I have not received, be so stressful?? Why can't I just speak to somebody in this country to refund my money?

Returned one item and money refunded but the second item never received a refund and got no response from them opened a complaint against them through PayPal they were brilliant and opened a complaints process against them and refunded the money to my account within three days,will never use Asda again but full credit to PayPal for a job well done

Had nothing but stress since trying yo order uniform which I did before school broke up , the first order was a week late nothing but poor communication until it apparently was refunded I then got two orders to collect!! So I wasted spending money I didn't need to to then have to send it back anyway , I have now just realised the school jumpers are missing so I'm now having to re order and won't have them for school and out of pocket! Never again , I wouldn't mind but I was actually trying to be organised and use have just made it so not that way

I’m incredibly disappointed with my recent experience. I've always been a loyal customer of George, especially loving their home products. This time, I placed an order worth around £50 and was really looking forward to receiving it. However, the delivery took far longer than expected, and when I finally called after the promised date, I was informed that my order was lost. Instead of offering a replacement, which is what I wanted, I was only promised a full refund. To add to my frustration, they only refunded the £3.95 delivery charge immediately, but not the rest of my order, even though they admitted the courier lost it. It’s now been 10 working days, far beyond the 3-5 days they promised, and I still haven’t received the rest of my refund. Customer service was a nightmare to deal with – long wait times and difficult communication. Judging by other reviews, it seems I’m not the only one facing these issues. It’s frustrating to see such false advertising about refunds when they could process the delivery refund on the spot. Why can't the rest of the refund be handled with the same efficiency?

Where is my delivery? I paid for delivery for today, took the day off to receive the goods. Got a text it would arrive 11am to 13:00 Got a call 11:15am asking where my building/door is... I gave instructions driver said cheers, OK, Now I check tye tracking link and it says 'delivery cancelled' there is no phone number, no other contact method to enquire. I need my kids school items delivered. What is going on?

Bought 4 T shirts in men's small size. They were clearly far too small - more like a child's size. Tried to return them by phoning customer. They said they would arrange a courier to pick up in 48 hrs - didn't contact me or collect. Next, I took them to an ASDA store. Very helpful customer services lady but didn't know how to arrange the dropbox returns. Eventually got a returns number, waited 5 days, got confirmation all items had been returned but only received half my refund. Checked ASDA website - states they were having problems with returns and wait 14 days. Waited, still no refund, so rang customer services. They said they couldn't access any of my order info as they were migrating their system, which hadn't happened yet. They also couldn't tell me when it would happen. Have no choice but to escalate the case via the bank/paypal. Very disappointed as I have bought from ASDA George before with no problem, but their customer service and quality of good is truly attrocious. Don't buy!!!!

Horrible customer services to deal with. I ordered some baby clothes, which Evri have decided to deliver to a parcel shop 50 miles away from my address on Asda's behalf! I have phone 3 times to say this is unacceptable and been promised my order has been cancelled twice and refunded the 3rd time, which was a lie! Contacted today using FB messenger and been told that I will not be refunded until my parcel has sat in the parcel shop for 10 days and then returned to them. The order was made on the 4th of August and has sat in an Evri depot since the 9th of August and not moved for 10 days. I have paid Asda for delivery to my address and I am their customer, they then pay Evri to deliver so they are Evri's customer. They should be responsible for chasing up where the item is and why they are not delivering it to my home address not me! AVOID AVOID AVOID!
