Ordered several large storage boxes, everyone was damage when delivered. Contacted the call centre who was very unhelpful and rude! Eventually arranged replacements but they wanted some of the boxes returned. First arranged collection didn’t turn up so wasted a day off work, replacement deliver didn’t arrive so another day off wasted! Yodel driver arrived next day, to collect , and refused to take as he said it had wrong label, which was one Asda gave me. Contacted call centre who tried to speak to him and he became very abusive! A week later delivery came, with same driver who literally threw the boxes into my hall then became very abusive again when I tried to take pictures of his registration. He then came at me aggressively, and when I ran back into my house he began to bang on my door, shouting loudly to the point I had to phone the police! Contacted Asda call centre who offered me an insulting £5 voucher, I’ve wrote several email but had no replies. This is a terrible company and will never use again.

Their prompt response and professional approach made it easy to resolve my withdrawal issue without unnecessary delays. I sincerely value their transparency and the consistent support they provided from start to finish.

I don't think that George/Asda cares whether or not they receive bad reviews. My order arrived in a very flimsy box that was ripped open on 3 sides. The contents were heavy, and 1 item was missing. I reported it, informing them of the flimsy state of the box. After some time, the service agent agreed to refund the cost of the missing item, plus the cost of postage. An email followed that did not include the promised postage. I have not received the refund, as they claim not to have a record of how I paid for the items. That has to be sorted. Yesterday, the rest of the order arrived in a severely damaged, flimsy box. The contents were packed without wrapping and were also damaged. I emailed the company last night and have had no response. They cannot blame the courier for their carelessness. I am extremely disappointed with their lack of customer care.

I have ordered a microwave set 3 weeks ago. It says it will be delivered in 5 working days. Still have not received. Then suddenly got text that delivery has done but no idea where they delivered the item. Called customer service several times not getting help. Then contact with Evri (courier) and they said items jas lost connection with the courier that means george text was not true. Still no idea what is happening or what should I do. Even not getting help from customer service (sent emails as well but no response). So frustrated.

Forced to give 1 star and this comes up "Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with Asda George, What went wrong?" Are you really sorry to hear all our bad experiences? What went wrong? You went wrong when you moved your customer services to India. I shop in the UK and when things go wrong you send me to India and say you are sorry. 3 months still no refund, lying about sending a refund and can not provide a refund receipt. My mistake should have read reviews before ordering.

Ordered a rug for lounge . The quality was awful had to wait for collection . Have had to phone twice about a refund and I’m still waiting .I will not be ordering from them again

Returned damaged item, refund only when telephoned customer service. This iis poor quality of a large retailer. Not got me I will shop elsewhere.

They refused to honour the 12 month guarantee on a Salter air fryer. they asked for proof of purchase, I sent it them . They still refuse to honour the guarantee/warranty.

I placed an order, the money was taken from my bank account, the order never appeared on my george at Asda account. I messaged George on X sent a snapshot of the money taken from my bank as requested, got asked a different question by approx.,8 service staff sent 4 snapshots of my bank showing they had taken it. After several days of this ,they final said they didn't have it and I would have to take it up with my bank. Absolutely one of the worst customer service I have encountered

In keeping with most the reviews here - this bunch are truly awful. Ordered a coffee maker on 16/7/25, with a 3 day delivery. Had various emails to say the item was delayed. Then on 28/7/25 I got another email saying the order had been cancelled….by whom you ask. No one could tell me. Called their Customer Service team and tried to get the order re-instated, but no. Had to have a refund. Terrible service from a major brand like ASDA.

I'm shocked by their lack of customer service. They sent 3x 50 MLS instead of 300mls. I called them, took 20 minutes. I returned the scents and have had to send three emails to get them to send my order. It's gone on for weeks. Man, never again.

Absolutely ridiculous customer service by telephone. You are on hold for upto 40 minutes and when the phones answered you are put on hold again so they can look into your issue! Then it gets cut off or no one actually comes back on the Phone! Totally waste of time no matter what time you call!

Ordered next day delivery with them for a patio set and it’s been constant delays and now they’ve said it was misrouted I’d have waited a few more days to get it in person in an Asda store if I knew George was this bad whatever you do stay away from it, won’t even give you updates via email or phone number

We had some garden furniture delivered on Friday. And actually the furniture was pretty good, quite solidly made. However their delivery company (ATI Worldwide) did a dreadful job, and completely smashed our gatepost so that the fence and gate are flapping in the wind. Now Asda/George are doing nothing about it. I have called them 3 times and each time they say they know nothing about it, and that the case has been closed. They say they haven't received my emails, despite the fact that I sent them while I was on the phone to them and they acknowledged receipt. Clearly they are just evading the problem and will wait for us to give up. Meanwhile our lovely gate and fence that we had just newly painted will have to be shored up with an ugly concrete support (at our cost!). So sad.

I ordered a toy kitchen and utensils for my granddaughters birthday, I paid extra delivery to get it today. I received no email, no updates, no contact whatsoever. After contacting them they told me they had issues with George orders and my money will be refunded. How does that help when my granddaughters birthday is today. Abysmal service, if they had at least made contact I would have been able to get something else.

I ordered a Gino D Caprio blender 2nd Feb & told it would arrive 7th Feb between 1.30-3.30 but nothing turned up. Been trying to get in touch ever since to no avail. I would like the blender I paid for or a refund. That is what a good company would do but you can’t, obviously be one & that’s why your ratings are so low. Anyone reading this must not ever consider buying from George because you won’t receive your order & you’ll waste your money.

Ordered a jacket online before Christmas. It was a nice jacket but didnt fit so was going to return it to the nearest store. However I fell ill and couldnt do that. Asda arranged to collect it but the first pickup didnt happen. I waited in but the carrier never turned up. I contacted them again and asked them to rebook it but yet again it didnt happen. I then had to take it to the Post Office . Have chased by email to find out where my refund is but still no refund. Now they have emailed me asking for proof of postage - luckily I have it and tracking confirms it was delivered. Have had to email them yet again with this info and have chased again but no response about my refund. Certainly wont be ordering online again from them !!!
