Took half an hour on the helpline to get through. Tyre fitting now booked for 2 days later. Maybe I'll get them fitted then?”
“Ordered a tyre from Asda to replace one damaged by a pothole. The fitting agent put the tyre on ok, but I later noticed when I collected the car, that the lower load rating (91 not 94) had been supplied when I had ordered and paid for the higher rating. I contacted ASDA tyre customer services and was told there was nothing they could do - it was my fault for not checking the tyre before it was fitted (customers not allowed into the fitting bay!). There was not even an offer to refund the difference between the higher price I had paid and the price I should have been charged. Sale of Goods Act? Breach of Contract? First and last time of dealing with Colewood Automotive - I'm surprised ASDA haven't found a better company to represent them!!”
“1/ Took too long,Waited from booking time 10.0 am until 2.0 pm for the fitment of two new front tyres.
2/ Both front tyres were over inflated to 38 psi (Masda 3 recommends 32 to 35 psi. The rear tyres were inflated to 32 psi (thus 6 psi difference) just prior taking my car to the Asda recommended fitment centre Halfords - Abbey wood. Over inflated tyres can cause potential risks.”
“Asda is the cheapest But Bad fitting companies.....
Asda is the cheapest price match on the online tyre market but all tyre fitting places I have been to do not prefer to have online orders from Asda as I have bought lot of tyres from Asda on numerous occasions, Asda fitters are not reliable with time given to the customers online while buying the tyres. Asda needs to look into it and have mentioned to customer services this issue but not much is done in terms of fitting tyres.”
“Had my tyres fitted on the 23rd November 2019 when I paid at the time the option of wheel alignment. I turned up at the tyre garage and the wheel alignment machine had not been working for a few days” wasted journey putting It bluntly.
Therefore if you want a refund a refund ie: wheel alignment, allow a few weeks, as I sent an email asking for refund on the 23/12/2019 and yesterday 05/12/2019 I get a email stating my refund is being processed and to allow up to 14 days. How the hell have Asda Tyres got all these amazing reviews on trust pilot!!”
