“I do a lot of research when purchasing an item I intend on using a lot, especially for something like a wallet that I’m going to be using everyday. The Capone Leather Money Clip in Color #8 Shell Cordovan is not only the nicest wallet I’ve ever owned but one of the highest quality items I own in general. You can feel the quality as soon as you get it in your hands. The size is perfect and even with 7 cards and a lot of cash it’s still slimmer than my old trifold. Now just to use it for years to come and see that beautiful patina!”

“You make very high quality products. I like the fact that your items are made in Chicago out of leather that is made in Chicago. The Johnny the Fox bifold in natural Horween is very well made out of really good leather. Something you will keep for a lifetime. The Horweel watch strap, on the other hand, was very thin and more tapered than I expected, so I returned it.”

“I purchased a Vault Key Holder in American Bison leather in Navy Blue color. The pebbled texture of the leather is very unique and adds to the look and feel of the piece. The bright silver hardware and snap are a great contrast to the dark blue leather, and star pattern on the screw posts are a nice feature. The snap closure is a great touch, and prevents the keys from sliding out. The screw posts are easy to open by hand and it was easy to put my keys in, and they are narrow enough to fit keys with small holes - a problem I have had with other similar holders. I only have three keys on one end and a electronic access fob on the other end. The holder has capacity for, and the posts are long enough to, hold many more keys than I have. Because I only have three keys and the fob, I did have to use some spacers (not included with the holder) to keep everything tight and not jiggling around. A small Ashland logo is stamped on the back of the holder, but with the pebbled texture of the leather and the small letters in the logo, it is not as clear as it would be on a smooth leather.”

“Item purchased: Johnny the Fox Color #8 Shell Cordovan, Men’s Wallet. It is a fantastic wallet. It looks great, and I have confidence it will last me for years or even decades. I purchased a cordovan leather passport wallet from Ashland about 10-12 years ago, and it has been outstanding—best passport wallet I have had by far. If anything, I wish the Johnny the Fox had 2 more card slots as I carry various cards, etc with me.”
