“The leather is really really premium, this is my 2nd and 3rd wallet I bought from ashland, and I really spent the entire first day when they arrived just trying to figure out which one I liked more and was simply unable to. One was a bison leather which is very nice, I was expecting more of a grey in the ridges (charcoal) which wasn't really there but I'm still really happy with it, It kinda has a ruggedness to it that feels like a very manly wallet. The other was made of brown cypress and I like the pull up and the general feel of the leather, it feels like it has substance and is going to age gracefully. I also asked for hand stitching and it was done really nicely, I couldn't be happier, They did a candy stitch (alternating colors) and it looks wonderful. It's a hard bullet to bite to spend 100$ for stitchwork, something you normally just take for granted but I'm really happy I did, and I can tell that it will be the type of thing I'll enjoy for many many years.”

The leather quality, stitching, and overall construction clearly reflect a company that takes pride in its work. What impressed me even more than the product itself was the customer service. I accidentally ordered the wrong wallet and even left an incorrect phone number when trying to resolve the issue. Despite that, Matt went above and beyond—tracking me down via email so we could connect and sort everything out properly. Not only did he make it right, he had a wallet custom made for me in a color that was out of stock and shipped it within just a couple of days. That level of care and responsiveness is rare. “Highly please with the Capone in #8 shell. I will say that the design of the Capone exceeded my expectations. I did order the B grade because I wasn’t sure the money clip would work for my needs; however, it has simplified my wallet layout. The shell cordovan #8 is beautiful and the durability is there without question. Will definitely order from Ashland Leather again.”

“I have purchased a few wallets and a couple of Apple Watch bands. They are all great! My only issue is my Capone wallet. The metal clip does not, and never has, closed all the way properly. Is there a way to get a replacement?”
