“This One Shot is an irregular item, it has a cool rough look and I can't wait to see how this leather ages. Been looking at getting a Bugs Moran but was hesitant to spend that kind of money on a wallet. If this ages nicely and holds up, I'll be saving my dollars for a new wallet. I can't knock Ashland but the postal service is awful. Ship from Chicago to Pontiac, MI to Detroit, MI to Pontiac, MI and then finally to Warren. Would have made it on time if they could actually get logistics right.”

“This wallet is hands down best out there. The only thing is that I hoped for it to be as pictured on website. The wallet I got was much darker than I thought to be. I understand that there were only 6 made and I bought the last one, therefore not the light denim as on pics. They're all unique really it is a masterpiece. I'm sure it will patina great. I'm very satisfied.”

“This was my first purchase experience with Ashland. Matt had been very patient and meticulous in his engagement- right through my decision making process for a custom Herbie. Delivery was ahead of schedule, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I feel the photographs/videos reflect a touch lighter shade of the whiskey shell (I had only bought natural prior to this) - in person, it is definitely more brown than tan. But then, Phil’s narration/description has always been accurate. For those who are on the fence about having hidden card slots, the additional layer of leather may have an impact on the number of cards you can have in the baseline card slots - but perhaps I’ll need to update on this aspect in a few months time, to see if the leather eases out to allow more cards. At the moment, I have two cards per slot, and don’t see room for more (unless I force it in, which I dare not). Super happy with the leather, thread combination, and the hand-stitching is absolutely on point. Now I need to get one more Herbie for Dad (don’t think he will fancy the pea green thread I have on mine).”

“I'd never heard of Ashland Leather, but found them online while searching. Their product selection had a match to what I was looking for, so I took a chance. I was pleased with the communication provided after purchase. The product arrived, packaged in a very nice presentation, and initial quality seemed impressive. I have only had the wallet for about 4 days now, but it is comfortable, and I look forward to hopefully years of use. I feel the price paid was reasonable given the look/feel of the product as well. Product seems well made, and matched the description on the website.”
