“I now have 5 of your belts and two of your wallets. One of the belts is used on the daily. But there is alway a two minute period where I admireingly stare at the belt before putting it on. Just a side note. My Natural Shell Cordovan Bugs Moran is mesmerizing! Yeah, I got fan boy issues with leather products. Thanks for all the great products and the hard work that goes into it.”

“I bought the Bugs Moran model in cigar shell cordovan. Absolutely beautiful leather and a lot softer than anticipated. I was expecting a much stiffer product that would soften with age but it is soft off the bag and very comfortable to use. Can’t wait to see the beautiful patina develop over the years.”

“This is a great passport wallet and a great example of Ashland craftsmanship. I believe the reason for this being irregular is just shading in the shell, not any sewing issues. I have a regular shell and horse skin wallet and a number of shell watch straps and all are quite good. Very consistent and easy to work with. My son also has the wallet in Dublin and he overstuffs it, and it’s still holding up well after 3 years of use. Overall these are very high quality and last despite heavy use.”

“A few years ago I bought a Fat Herbie wallet, which I liked very much. This second purchase is another FH in natural shell cordovan. It’s a beauty! Pretty stiff with tight card compartments, but from experience, I’ll be able to pull me cards a little easier very soon. Solid wallet.”

“This was my 3rd wallet from Ashland Leather. I gave my first to a good friend of mine after his wallet was stolen. The second I've had for several years and I still love it, but it's more of a traditional bifold wallet and for the 3rd wallet I wanted something that was a little slimmer and less bulky in my front pocket. The Bugs Moran was the perfect cut and I was really blown away by the styling of this "private stock" edition when I saw it online, but they didn't have any left. Shortly after I signed up to be notified if anymore were made Ashland reached out to me to ask if I'd like to have one made for a small, additional fee. I said yes and I notice after they gave me the okay they took it off the website, making this truly a "one of a kind" wallet. While I waited for them to make this one, I couldn't remember exactly what it looked like and I started to feel a little anxious that maybe I should have picked something a little more traditional, like the natural shell cordovan. However, once it arrived I was completely blown away by the uniqueness and the size and shape are absolutely perfect; slim, but somehow still holding all of my various cards, ID's, and some cash. This was the perfect wallet and another great experience with Ashland.”

“The stitching near the spring bar end came loose. I tried to heat seal it but the tread shriveled up on itself, so I restitched it. The leather is really high quality, and the buckle is surprisingly high quality too. Really supple and conforms to the wrist really well, very comfortable. Would also be cool if you stamped it Ashland and the leather type on the back.”
