“A true mark of a company's ethos is in the post-sale customer service experience. Ashland leather = bad post-sale customer service. For a premium product, one is to expect premium standards, attention to detail and excellent service. The wallet arrived with a permanent deep semi-circular mark on the leather and I had notified Ashland on the day of arrival. They suggested it was only a light finger scratch. This was not the case as the mark feels like it had been caused by a heavy item which had imprinted itself onto the leather and I made them aware of this fact (for some unknown reason I am unable to attach a photograph on this website). Considering that I am an overseas customer, the mark did not warrant a return or a request for a new wallet to be sent out; so I had suggested a partial refund as being a possible fair solution. The amount was left to their discretion. My suggestion was ignored and all communication ceased to which I am very surprised and disappointed with. I deem it to be unprofessional of them not to have dealt with my compliant where we could have reached an amicable solution for both parties. It appears Ashland leather are quick to have your money and equally as quick to ignore customer when they complain about a defective product. I am left to feel that I am expected to settle with their sub-par product. I am a believer in giving a company a chance to resolve the issue before leaving a negative feedback. My experience has now left with a negative connotation associated with my Ashland leather products. What a shame. A one star would have been left had it not been for the pleasant pre-sale customer service, fast delivery and the overall product quality of the two items I had purchased. Unfortunately, this will be my first and last purchase from Ashland leather. Finally, I would like to think I have left a fair and honest review.”

“This all started with a Private Stock Amaretto shell Tony the Ant. I was so amazed by the craftsmanship; the smell; the beauty- that I ordered an English Tan Dublin Tony and a shell #8 Frank the Enforcer and two Lexington Key Cases! Matt sent me pics of Dublins with extraordinary figuring so that I could choose exactly the one I wanted. I thought it was over... then, I felt like I HAD TO create my very own custom one-shot Tony. I just got it... and, IT IS AMAZING. You guys are amazing! Your customer service, artistry, and quality materials cement you as a distinction in leather accessories. There is only ONE PLACE that I'll go for leather goods from here on out. You guys have a customer for life. I can't get new "Skip-style" one-shot ideas out of my head all day! I love you guys!
