“I had been wanting a small, slim wallet that could hold hards and have them readily available while also being able to hold some cash without needing to fold them too much. A money clip was an idea and the Capone is a great one. First time experiencing Horween's Dublin and I really like the grain character it has, different from the CXL and has a very lovely aroma. The only thing I notice is it picks up nicks and scratches much faster than cxl or other leathers. It's part of the charm and character, which is fine but just throwing it out there. Currently, I'm carrying 6 cards with varying amounts of bills. I carry two types of currency, so there are different size bills, and I've had upwards of 10 bills at a time. The Capone manages to elegantly conceal them width and lengthwise while remaining slim.”

“I love small leather makers and there's nothing like horween shell cordovan. Having said that, the stitching on my wallet was not the best as several of the threads were sticking out, so I had to fix with a hot needle. Wish more attention was paid to quality with a +$250 wallet, but the leather was great.”

“Ashland Leather is probably my favorite company in Chicago. I've had a wallet for about a year that I love, and I was in the market for a new belt. I'm a 42" waist and didn't see that size on the website, so I reached out to the info email address late on a Monday afternoon. Matt got back to me early Tuesday afternoon letting me know he could make me one. I received the invoice from him later that afternoon, received the shipping confirmation on Thursday, and I had the belt in hand by Friday afternoon. I love that it's made in Chicago, and that creates such a cool vibe for the brand, but it's really the craftsmanship and customer service that blow me away. Where else can I order a handmade leather belt on a Monday and have it in hand before the weekend? It's a cliche, but keep doing what you guys are doing. You have a customer for life in me!”
