“I searched high and low for a luxury front pocket slim leather wallet, one that was bifold with no button/clasp, and quick card access on the outside. This met all the marks and was already available to ship, I didn’t have to wait, as other vendors make their products to-order. I went with a B-grade in Black Shell Cordovan, and I don’t see any major imperfections! I initially thought it was a rough spot on the finish, yet it buffed right out. I’m not a trained eye for leather grading, though I still think it looks great & will be getting heavy use anyway so wear is fine. I glued a chain/strap onto the money clip if you’re wondering what that is, just a personal preference. Thank you for such an awesome product! This very well may be my forever wallet. At last!”

“I was looking to replace an old Mulholland bifold wallet, probably 25+ years old. Replacing it with another Mulholland was not an option since the company had gone out of business. After looking at several quality options I decided to go with the Ashland Johnny the Fox model based on the online reviews and the fact that this wallet had essentially the same storage options for cards, as well as the two hidden slots as the Mulholland. The quality of the leather, the craftsmanship and, of course, that great leather smell made me feel like I made the right choice. A lot of purchases these days are based on educated guesses, hoping that the product matches the reviews and your expectations. So far I haven't been disappointed at all. It looks great and the function is exactly what I was looking for.”

“Just got prototype gusset Vic in blue shell Cordovan and yellow Dublin. Yellow stitching. I had buyers remorse because I saw same wallet in blue shell Cordovan and black Dublin. However, photos didn’t do a favor to my purchase. In real life It is absolutely beautiful. Yellow Dublin is less shiny than on photo. That much about esthetics, which is superb. About quality, over years I bought many items from Ashland leather for myself and as a gift for people that I love and value, and nobody matches their work. I am sure the same applies to this wallet.”

“So far I’ve liked the wallet. The leather is good quality and the stitching is tight. The money clip is easy to use and doesn’t get in the way of your cards as long as you’re smart enough to open the wallet wide enough. Also, if you get a little scratch on the leather just rub it with your thumb three times and voilà it’s gone. Like magic. But if you ever had anything made of real leather in your whole life you’d know that.”

We are also working on a new batch of the Vertical Bugs Moran wallets in English Tan Dublin and could take an exchange for a lighter colored one if you would like to try that.
