“I loved my natural cxl watch strap originally but found I could not get it tight enough with the provided holes. I emailed Ashland and they told me to ship it to them and then will add more holes and send it back for free (I paid shipping to Ashland but not return shipping). Great to work with them, responsive, beautiful product.”

“Lovely thick leather watch strap that will last a very long time. Looks fantastic on my Apple Ultra. The chunky thick leather really suits the large body of the Ultra. “Unbeleivable product with high quality leather. Has already started to pick up a slight patina to it. Went with the upgraded Horween leather andcouldn't be happier with the product. I used a Bellroy wallet beforehand and the quality difference is substantial.”

“Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Unfortunately, the personalization goes so deep that it inherently weakens the integrity of the left side of the wallet. I have to vigilantly watch my wallet’s bending/pressure to make sure that it’s not actually going to bust. I certainly can’t properly have a card in the inner left side and that’s really disappointing to experience for a $350 wallet that’s supposed to last a lifetime. Needless to say, I would recommend anyone wanting personalization look elsewhere for leather wallets. Despite how much I love the wallet, if I could do it over again I’d choose no customization. Those looking for a classic are certainly in the right place (as long as you don’t mind aggressively bigger thread holes than the thread requires). I’d submit a picture but I’m not particularly desperate to contribute to the issue.”

“I received my 5-Slot Prototype Frank in Color 8 Dublin. This is my third piece in the Color 8 Dublin and this one is probably the nicest. I think you’ve hit a home-run with this design. “Shout-out to the Full Grain Podcast! I watch Phil and Nick on their podcast and wanted to support so I decided to buy an Ashland wallet. This Color 8 shell Capone wallet is just top notch. I previously was using a Saddleback wallet and while it was good, it just does not compare to this shell Ashland wallet. I bought a B Grade wallet and am thoroughly happy with what I received. Hardly can tell there is anything wrong with it. Maybe some small stitching errors or scratches but to be honestly, I'm not even sure. And of course, the shell is just amazing. I Horween shell watch strap so I had an idea how the leather would feel and I'm still blown away. The density and brilliance really makes the product shine and feel premium. Highly recommend!”

“Love the design of my Lucky Card Holder wallet! The slim profile makes it perfect for front pocket carry and the leather quality picked from Horween can't be beaten! I can comfortably carry six cards and some cash and am excited to see how this patinas in comparison to my English Tan Dublin Capone Money Clip! I also couldn't be more pleasantly surprised by the mystery coaster I received! It appears to be a thick slab of Natural Chromexcel with some epic grain character as Phil would say but I could be wrong. Nonetheless, another quality product from a great company!”

“Purchasing a new wallet/ money clip from Ashland Leather was a very smooth experience. I tend to over research items that I’m buying, so it can be a process. I was replacing a card holder/money clip that I got from Duluth probably around 30 years ago. It was so worn out that the cards would fall right through and out the bottom. I was bummed that the same one is no longer offered. After way too much research online, I decided to try the Capone Leather money clip. I received it in a reasonable amount of time. I’m also very pleased with the item I selected. I did reduce the amount of cards that I carry. I felt I was stressing the leather a bit while trying to fit all the cards I had been carrying. There are 4 card slots, and I don’t have a problem carrying 2-3 cards in each slot. It’s actually better at carrying cash than my old money clip was too. I’m hoping it holds up and serves me well for a very long time. I see no reason why it shouldn’t.”
