“I have been looking for a great wallet for a long time. Every time I settled for a just OK choice only to end up regretting it from the first day. Then a friend showed me his Ashland Leather Fat Herbie and I immediately knew this was way beyond OK. He has had it for over a year and it looks brand new. I ordered one the next day. It has only been a week or so but I can say this is far and away the best wallet I have ever owned. When it first arrived I went carefully over ever inch. The leather was flawless. The workmanship was perfect. Every cut, every stitch exact. It holds everything I want in my wallet without being overstuffed. This may be the last wallet I ever buy. It cost me more than I ever spent on a wallet - but no more than I spent on the half dozen just OK models I have thrown away over the last half dozen years. Don”

He has one but has been wanting a custom one for a while now and Ashland leather was able to last minute customize me one as a wedding gift! “It was a great wallet. My sons are also happy. Only one complaint-The sale is always Friday Central time 4:00 PM is Japan time Saturday 6:00 AM It's a little painful to get up at 6:00 on holidays.”

“Dear Phil. I like small wallet. That's why my favorite one is Johnny the Fox. I like it very much. The only complaint I have is that it is a little too short to hold Japanese bills. As you know, Japanese bills are a little taller than US dollar bills. Unlike the U.S., Japan is not a cashless country. Of course, credit cards are accepted at all stores, but small purchases are usually paid for in cash, so you have to carry a lot of money in your wallet. Even so, I carry many cards with me. For example, a car license, two credit cards, a bank card, and an entrance card. So I wanted a wallet that could hold a lot of cards, Japanese bills, and was as thin as possible. In that light, the FAT HERBIE is great. I thought it might be a little big, but it's not, and it's nice that it's not too thick even with 12 cards in it. The stitching is also very good. The stitching is careful and the edge is beautifully done. Of course, Horween cordovan is the best! Regards, Ichiro”
