“I have ordered a total of 4 wallets from you so far. All of them have one or two very minor scuff marks. While these minor blemishes did not warrant a return or repair, they just did not set well with the satisfaction scores. This latest order was for my friend visiting from Japan. It also has one very minor scuff mark. I asked if I should return it. My friend said no but I have to concede that the shell cordovan wallet made by GANZO Japan is far superior in quality, fit & finish, and durability. I conceded the first two but reserved the durability because I have Ashland wallet for about two/three years v. 20 plus years with Ganzo.”

“Recently purchased a Tony the Ant in #8 shell Cordovan, as a gift for a friend’s 30th birthday. His old wallet was beyond repair and in serious need of replacing. While I can’t comment on how it feels or carries in the pocket, I did take a quick peek inside the box before gifting it to my friend. (I mean, can you blame me?). His new wallet will easily last him Another 30 years and more. The color #8 shell Cordovan is absolutely stunning, and put on full display by the wallet’s beautiful craftsmanship. The customer service from Ashland is also top notch. Phil was very quick to respond in correcting a mistake (totally my fault) before the wallet shipped out, which arrived faster than expected. Without a doubt, the next time I review an Ashland wallet, it will be as an owner.”

“I've had my eye on a Shell Cordovan wallet for quite some time. I previously used, and was very happy with a minimalist wallet from Duluth Pack that I'd bought on sale for $25 in Early 2013. Recently my credit cards have started to wear through the leather at the edges and it's been time for a replacement. I stumbled upon Ashland leather on Reddit while looking for recommendations for minimalist wallets. They seemed to be engaged with their customer base and it looked like they make a great product. If I'd seen the Capone wallet, I probably would have bought it, but I settled on a Tony the Ant in Natural Shell Cordovan. After I purchased, the owner sent me a quick thank you email for my order (which was nice) and answered a couple of my questions. Shipping was fast. The packaging was top notch and gorgeous! The wallet is certainly buy-it-for-life quality. The leather is supple and smooth. The handmade saddle-stitch looks like it'll be durable forever. Ashland stands behind their product and offers a lifetime warranty, so as long as they are around I'm comfortable that my purchase will have been worth it.”
