It all started simply enough: just a few friends and family gathering in the backyard, enjoying good company and good food. Somewhere along the line, this simple family tradition turned into a passion, culminating with the 2009 opening of All Things Barbecue.

Located in America’s heartland and shipping across the country. All Things Barbecue has a simple goal: to spread the passion for outdoor cooking to as many people as possible.

All things barbecue I was pleased with the products ordered, but not pleased with what I received. Among the many products order, I ordered a rub in the larger size, but received two in the smaller size. The total weight of the two smaller bottles did not total the weight of the larger size. I received less than what I ordered and paid for. There was no credit given for the discrepancy in weight ordered versus what was received. The copy of my order included with my order clearly showed that I ordered the larger size and also showed that two smaller sizes were substituted instead with no reason or credit given.

They have great, high-quality products, but are priced accordingly. The reason for the 2 stars is the fact they did not accept my review for the YS640S Comp Cart grill cover, the cover had completely disintegrated and I was hoping to alert other customers to the issues I had and warn against purchasing it. The fact they did not allow a low review makes me not trust the reviews they have listed (they only seem to allow 4/5 star reviews to be published), and directly impacts my decision to rate them so low.

I had to call Hanna at customer service 3 times to get my order shipped. It took 3 weeks to get my order. Not good

Love the YouTube channel & Tom - but when I order a pizza oven for my Yoder on 6/13 - which is “5-8 days delivery from order” and have to chase you up after a couple of weeks. “Not in stock, hope to get some next week”…..that’s not a problem-but I’m out’ve town when it’s shipped so have to then pay $9.99 to UPS to change the delivery from the 7/8 date….wouldn’t recommend or buy from again. Sorry. Be transparent.

The accessory box was packed poorly with little padding. The smoke stack was scratched and bottom front edge of the stainless shelf was rubbed. Still waiting for the cover to arrive, it's been a little over three weeks now.

I spent ordered a Yoder smoker and accessories. on March 31 as a birthday gift. 6 weeks before the birthday. The smoker got here in no time. However, I still don’t have the accessories. I knew I would not get everything at the same time, as the website indicated delays on 2 items. This is fine except the website said 1 week on 1 item and 2 weeks on the other. No problem. When the smoker arrived, the packing slip indicated 1-2 weeks on both outstanding accessories. Fine. It’s been 5 weeks and still nothing. No chance of getting them before the birthday and that sucks. Especially when my total orders here are over 4k since March 31. They send you links to track your order that are links to nowhere. I believe I am also missing 40lbs of pellets that should have been included. Unless they are somehow packaged in the smoker. I have not looked because this is a gift. They sent a separate tracking number that again goes to nowhere and never arrived. Just tell the truth on the site. If the accessories are 2 months out just say so rather than lie about it and disappoint people.

Box arrived soaked in some kind of detergent. When I opened it, the grill cover I ordered was not in a plastic bag but just stuffed into the box, not folded at all. It to was partially soaked in the contaminant. Looked like someone had returned it and you just forwarded to me. It otherwise appears undamaged.

The new stuff is great and functions well. The reason for the low stars is I feel we should not have had to purchase a whole new retro-fit kit due to the faultiness of the original motherboard. We paid good money for this.

I have had my Yoder 480 for three years and my Charbroil grill that is 14 years old looks much better. I am constantly having to re patch the exterior paint. I am fairly meticulous about my grills and keep them covered and cleaned regularly. Very disappointed in the quality of the paint on this smoker. The expensive grill cover that I bought with the grill wore out in two years. I replaced it with a $25 cover that I bought on Amazon and it has held up much better! I will be trying to tear it down in the spring and strip the paint in areas that it is failing and try to salvage it. Over all very disappointed in this smoker, considering the amount of Money I have placed in it. The much cheaper Green Mountain grill I owned previously held up much better!

Had to unbend cheap metal to get the tables on, unbend the cheap foil thing that’s supposed to be an ash catcher then tried to maintain some sort of temp at least between 275 and 300 but gave up after an hour.

The return policy is far too onerous. I would not recommend buying anything except grills here. “No refunds” on used/opened items is perfectly reasonable on a smoker. On a thermometer or a butcher knife that disappoints? Completely unreasonable. I will always buy elsewhere whenever possible. The ATBBQ answer may be “you should have called us” but I take them at their word. The website says no refunds on opened items and the website provides no return option. That tells me how they do business. Lesson learned. I move on.

I was finally going to buy a Yoder 460 online. The website was not set up to accept PayPal payments. I tried to tell the company about the problem but no one seemed inclined to fix the problem or call me to take my money. After trying numerous times, I called and tried to pay with PayPal via phone order. You’d think I was paying with Chinese yen or something. No one could figure out how to process my $3,000 order. So I bought a competitor’s model for way less. Too bad. I still buy some rubs here occasionally and like and follow Chef Tom. Fix your website!

My Yoder came in damaged during the shipping process. Customer service was good to try and make it right but still a hassle. Then I go to put my Yoder together and a bunch of the components aren’t even with the things that did get shipped. Once again, customer service trying to rectify it, but it still means I’m not using my smoker and it seems unprofessional to not have everything together when I’m spending this kind of money.

Good quality products but your shipping is awful. I ordered a three pack of wood pellets almost three weeks ago and they still aren’t here. Now I have to go to the store today and buy some until my shipment arrives Wed. Defeats the whole purpose.

So for the first time In a long history of purchasing I was disappointed. I made a purchase and forgot to add 2 items so I email and called (4 minutes after my purchase) wanting to add those 2 items. Mind you it was Christmas so no answer to the call, but the email was returned 3 days later. Saying it was to late to add any thing to my order. This has not been my first time making a purchase and forgetting and every other time I was able to add on. This has not changed my opinion about your store. Was just sad now I have to wait till I have a large purchase again to get the free shipping.

I have had a yoder 640 for 5 years now and have had nothing but problems the the temp accuracy its always of by 50 degrees, I have also had on numerous times when you turn it on the digital temp goes wacky it jumps around from 140 to 225 to 400 to 350 all in a matter of 20 seconds and will not reset even when completely unplugged. Yoder's answer is always change the temp probe. well obviously this has not worked (4th time). so its sad to say I can no longer recommend Yoder (and I do like it when it works) and I will have to purchase a different brand.
