Wish we’d stayed with BMW We bought a Q5 from Epsom Audi at the end of 2017 and have been bitterly disappointed by the aftersales customer service we've received from the Drift Bridge Group: expensive repair quotes, long waits for appointments if we need a courtesy car, and other frustrations. The final straw came recently when both the turbocharger and the throttle body went, despite the vehicle not even having 60,000 miles on the clock. We took it to a specialist VAG garage for a quote; they emailed to say: "The throttle body fault is common across a great many of the VAG passenger cars. The turbo actuator control rod armature into the turbo wastegate is worn which is unusual for the age and mileage on your vehicle, in addition to this the turbocharger itself has had a number of supersessions to the part number which normal indicates a production change of some sort, perhaps due to quality/longevity of the component." Their total quote for all the repairs was £2085.88 inc VAT. When we contacted Epsom Audi to complain about this turbo failure (something they admitted was ‘unfortunate’), their ‘goodwill' solution was to offer to carry out the repairs at the MORE expensive price of £2421.99 - and that was with a supposed 15% discount! Needless to say we have declined their ‘kind’ offer. If we could turn back the clock, we’d have stuck with BMW, where the service was considerably better.

I made an enquiry for someone to contact me 3 times from last Saturday using the Audi uk website to purchase an S3. A chap called Daniel finally called and promised some pics for the Monday morning as there were no pics on there website. I unfortunately did not receive the pics or a call so I had to make another enquiry using the Audi uk website as the telephone line to the dealership was unavailable due to the pandemic. Anyway Daniel called shortly after my enquiry and promised the pics for Tuesday morning by 10am. Unfortunately this did not happen and all I got was a pic of one of the seats from the car and this was at lunch time today. I called Daniel who said he would need to arrange for one of the guys from the dealership to call and arrange for the video and pics. A chap called Ash who I later found out was suppose to be some kind of long term business/finance manager who was not all apologetic or sympathetic and came across rude and ended the call with me whilst in middle of my conversation for no apparent reason. 5 minutes later he calls back saying line went funny and again no apology and back to being sarcastic and patronising and when I questioned him about the service I had received, his response was ‘you obviously don’t want to by the car’ and hung up. I called and asked to speak to the senior manager to voice my experience which I later received a call from someone who i immediately took his colleagues corner and also became somewhat patronising and refused to email me back as I was suspicious that he was just a colleague pretending to be a senior manager. DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS ROUGH DEALERSHIP.

I purchased my brand new Audi A7 on 21st October 2018. I had it for around a week and the following issues started occurring: Oil level low and loud wind noise from the front window. The car went to inchape Crawley, now called hardwoods Crawley and they topped up the oil and reviewed the issue with the noise from the window. Since then I started getting further issues intermittently and the vehicle has been going in and out of Crawley Audi ever since. The following further issues were : One touch button not working rear driver side Leaking window Sensors MMI system turning off Car coughing Wind noise Front washer left remains open Cameras don’t work sometimes Navigation system doesn’t work sometimes Rattling dashboard Grinding noise from a wheel at low speed Oil level very low Ad blue level low Rear camera jutters when turning vehicle Pre sense not working properly I was given many excuses and the car kept going back . Recently these further issues came up : Warning signs for : Lane departure inactive due to surroundings Beam assist inactive due to surrounding Distance warning sensor inactive The above I was told was due to mist but that’s not the case and is a complete lie I believe. I was completely misguided. Washer cap remained open and the Audi technician sanded the plastic off to rectify the problem ! Sensors go off randomly Rattling noise still comes from the dashboard which has not been fixed. The technician apparently used some tape around the seal but the rattling continues. And the most concerning issue is the gearbox warning light. This has come on many times, and the the last time I picked the car up from Audi hoping it was fixed, but it lasted 30 minutes and the same issue came up again. I took it straight back and has been with them since. I have provided videos of these problems and emails can prove the ongoing problems I have had with this nightmare of a car since I have purchased it. I have been told that Audi uk will take the car back, however I still have to pay for the monthly payments until that happens. My grievance is that I was told that Audi were AWARE of the ongoing mmi issue on the new models before I was sold the A7. Why was I sold a car and the aforementioned problem not disclosed to me? My vehicle has been with Audi Crawley for the last two months. And I have been told that Audi shall take the car back but after many emails I have given up . No one from vwfs or Audi uk has updated me with what is happening and still I am paying for it whilst it sits with Audi hardwoods in Crawley for nearly two months . I again emailed the head of Audi Andrew Doyle, who got another robotic customer services exec to email me telling me that they shall deal with me once the pandemic is over. However they are happy to continue selling cars ! They expect me to keep paying for it and not drive it.!! Never ever will I be doing business with Audi again. A complete disgrace of a company and the service is the worst.

Audi Basingstoke - Avoid Audi Basingstoke. Have purchased two cars from them, the first was an Audi A1 that arrived with 2 additional doors but don’t worry they are not going to charge for them. Car was for my 18 year old daughter, of course she wanted a more sporty version! The Audi Q2 purchased for my 18 year old son has had a few issues that clearly should be covered under warranty but Audi Basingstoke refused. Their ruling is governed by their warranty manager, clearly not independent. What I don’t know if this is an instruction from Audi to avoid warranty claims to make up for the huge fines from their emission fraud or Lookers PLC profiteering. So I recommend keeping well away from Audi Basingstoke. Their salesman change so often that you are unlikely to buy the car from the same person that hands it over!

Keep away from the Audi brand! After having problems for months with my car I escalated the problem to AUDI UK and spoke to Kayleigh who listened but neither herself or anyone else in AUDI UK did anything to help me. End results - rather than help to sort the problem, they arranged for AUDI Coventry to buy the car off me, left with no other choice and left with a substantial loss.

Audi A6 Avant 2009 2.0 Tdi Bre Engine oil pump failure at 150,000 miles this is nothing new for this to happen to these engines as there are no end of reports in forums on line,i wrote to Audi to complain but of course they are in complete denial and can only help if the car is taken to the main dealers to ascertain if it their fault. The drive shaft to the oil pump rounds off causing loss of pressure. Secondhand buyers beware

Factory ordered an Audi A3 in 2016 and had problems ever since. Audi/VW finance, Audi UK and Mon Motors Cardiff have offered no resolution to this. In fairness the service department in Mon Motors Cardiff have done what they can, but their hands are tied with guidelines and protocols from Audi UK, however the centre hasn’t attempted to get me into a new car. Audi Finance “investigated” my complaint of the problems below and took no further action. This must be their expectations of an Audi? No offer of refunds, compensation for various dealership visits etc etc. Just left to me to keep paying for a faulty car. Will be taking this further to the financial ombudsman. In brief, a car which is close to £30,000 and currently just over 3 years old has: - Not started numerous times - Engine cut outs - Drive system faults error messages - Faulty sensors (to which the dealership did not do any work on it as it was intermittent. This fault resulted in my car was not starting occasionally. - Faulty battery meaning all power was draining and car was not starting - Heated wing mirrors breaking twice in one year - Creaking suspension - Electronic parking break not applying. All of this is alongside random error messages coming up onto the dashboard when driving. These faults did not occur just the once. These occurred multiple times, even after the dealership investigating the vehicle. My car sometimes still doesn’t start and/or cuts out when idling. No one has taken accountability for this and say that it’s “expected” that a car will have faults. This many faults and to this extreme? Doubtful. So if your thinking of getting an Audi, take a look above and think if it’s worth it. I’m moving over to Ford. Get much more for your money.

I paid for an over-priced service at Watford Audi on a 2 year old A5 and they scammed me into spending another £450 on replacing the coolant tank and then fitted it wrongly meaning I wasted another afternoon getting it fixed properly. Complaints were either ignored or responded to wit an offer of money off next time. Fat chance I would go there again so a useless offer

I purchased a car car on Audi A1 one from Tamworth Audi I pick the car up and it was filthy inside so had to go back the smell off the heating in the car was disgusting whatever was in the washer bottle was gross. Car had obviously not had a PDI before I pick it up I told them the rear wiper was no good good but they said they had adjusted it so back in again it went I had to change it and I 12 weeks after I had it I told them there was a knocking come rattle since the day that I have the car car so it went in yet again and there was a shock absorber had gone just to prove there was no PDI done on the car I also told them m the car car I had no need to clean it for 6 weeks because the car had been in that many times and they cleaned it as courtesy but when I did clean the car car car I could not believe the amount of scratches on the roof the bonnet. I was advised to email the main man man of the used car side of the business but what a waste of time that was as I had no answer back it doesn't surprise me and after the car has been in 6 times up to yet it has got to go back in again as I've still got something wrapping on the underside of the car. This is only the second time I have used Tamworth Audi for the first time I'm was on an Audi A3 Cabriolet 20000 miles and that car went in in 4 times with a clutch problem the car which I loved I ended up having to get rid of because they could not sort it I would never ever use tamworth audi ever again.

Very Upset, paid a £1000 deposit on an Audi a3 on Monday and left it with Jacob Smith at Reading Audi to sort everything out so i could collect car on Saturday. Phoned up on Friday to make sure it was going to plan only to be told he left 3 days ago and he took my money but didn't do the paperwork so nobody knew about me other than Jacob and the car has now been sold. Very upset and angry, didn't expect this from an Audi dealer!!!

refused to fix roof spoiler that came loose, poor quality plastic fixings underneath. car less than 1 year old, should be covered under warranty. poor customer service, no empathy or value for me as a long term customer. I really, really like the car however, my advice; DO NOT BUY A NEW AUDI

Basically you are rip off merchants once I have paid off my car you then want even more money before it’s mine. Or I can buy a new Audi. Would not buy a car from you again. Peoples finical situations change and you clearly don’t give a stuff.

Audi UK are useless! they may as well pack up and go home! they have no influence over the dealers at all! none! I bought a 2015 A3 from Audi Tyneside and realized there was a hum from behind the dashboard after 1000rpm. Audi tyneside changed the timing belt but the noise was still there! so guess what they labeled it as a characteristic of the car. absolute rubbish. Audi uk get involved, guess what? after 3 months they close the case stating there was no mechanical issue...3 months! So buy from Audi at your own risk but beware if you have to have them fix your car because they couldn't care less once they have your hard earned cash and anything that is not blatantly apparent to them is disregarded as a characteristic. never again

My Audi TT Roadster is 5yrs old & has 40,000 miles on the clock. Broke down & 2 weeks later I'm told it needs a new engine !! Audi have offered a contribution towards the repair, but it's still going to cost me £3k Not something you expect from the age/make/mileage Will not be buying another Audi

Absolutely fantastic experience with Nottingham Audi service. Charlotte is amazing. Nothing too much trouble. Such a lovely helpful girl. I’ve just had my car serviced. The back wiper was not working. I thought I might have to pay but all covered under warranty. Everything about the showroom is relaxing. Everyone is so nice Even brought my little dog water. Just would recommend all the staff I have had any contact with at Nottingham Audi. All great. The best I have ever had. Kathryn Thaxter

Absolutely amazing customer service, but you realise why when you get scammed for thousands of pounds of work that didn't previously exist. That's when it hits the fan. And because it's a franchise, Audi UK get involved but have zero influence over the franchisee, sonny attempt to resolve issues with them is futile. West London Audi know that they can just get away with murder and Audi UK can't do a damn thing about it. Such a great shame!

Same as most of the other reviews, they are great when they sell you the car, absolutely useless when there’s a problem. Don’t waste your time or money buying one of there cars. I’ve spent more time on the phone to them in the last 2 weeks than I did in 5 years with mini.

If I could do minus I would where do I start I brought my Audi A5 from derby Audi who were more than happy to sell the car. However when it was time to exchange for a newer lower model the salesman didn’t want to know. They never returned calls and basically seemed like I was not worthy of their time. I took a trip to Audi Sheffield. What a difference !! the sales team could not do enough and they were only to happy to help ( please note this is a review of derby Audi and their escalation to resolve issues) my son who was 19 went to derby Audi as he wanted to buy an A5 the salesmen would not even give him the time of day ! So he went to Leeds Audi he received the same first class service I did at Audi Sheffield! He drove away in an Audi A5 S line Quattro perfect car, and amazing service from Leeds. On the way to work in June 2018 ( he has only had the car 9 months) on the motor way the car went into limp mode dangerous yes but all accidents averted the AA attended and said there was a fault take it to Audi as the engine management lights were showing. This is where we discovered the true extent of the lack of service and that is being kind! Audi derby had the car for 3 days and returned the car to say they could find no fault and all had been checked. Two weeks later my son had the same issue but this time the dashboard was a disco with various lights. The AA attended again (this is through Audi assist) they told my son go straight to the dealership. Audi Derby informed my son he could have an A3 from enterprise ( basic model) but he would have to make his own way there? 7 days later still the A5 is not road worthy and Audi Derby inform us they are cancelling the insurance on the A3 and he needs to collect an A1? They have done nothing with the A5 as they are waiting for Leeds Audi to agree to pay? They are all part of Sytner group why is this an issue? My son does around 2000 miles a week and is 6.4,( the car is too small) he has spoken with his peer group and amazingly some of the young pretty ladies in the group the same age as my son refused the A1 and where given (by the nice service man) a car the same as theirs TT’s ( I wonder why) 14 days in and no change the A5 is still at Derby and nothing has happened why ? They are still waiting for Leeds to agree to pay. 21 days in and after multiple calls with Simon from service at Derby (who advises my son “ I have a good mind to give you the car back and let you drive to Leeds and sort it your self” the car is not driveable ? ( customer service at its best) my son and I contacted the head of Audi uk who handed our information to the executive team. We are at present over a month without a car that cost around £500.00 per month and with no idea when the car will be fixed. My son phoned Audi Leeds in desperation who have acted so swiftly the A5 has been flat backed from derby and is now in Leeds ( we are still awaiting a new curtesy car and a fix date) Why is the customer the one to suffer ? Even the executive team have been a waste of time looking into the matter for over a week to state well the car is in Leeds now ( we know it is in Leeds we arranged it all) but the complete rude and disgusting attitude of the Team at Derby and the escalation of the executive team show that Audi are not a five star service company and you only fall lucky with a couple of dealerships! Hopefully this will help a few people but I will ensure that all parties are aware of what a complete an utter shambles Derby Audi are!!!
