“I had a very disappointing experience with Auto Europe. I booked a car through them and paid in advance, but due to unforeseen circumstances I couldn’t collect the car on the original day. I was willing to pick it up the next day, but the rental partner (Drivalia) cancelled the booking.
What shocked me most was that Auto Europe refused to provide a refund—even though I bought the voucher from them, not Drivalia. They completely shifted the responsibility to their partner and hid behind the supplier’s strict “no refund” policy. As a customer, I expected Auto Europe to support me and handle the issue professionally, but that didn’t happen.
This experience has made it clear that Auto Europe does not stand behind its customers. I won’t be booking through them again, and I strongly advise others to be cautious. If anything goes wrong with your booking, don’t expect any real help or accountability from their side.”
“Hired a car using this AUTOEUROPE, we booked a car with Interrent,(GOLD CAR!!!),had problems with getting our money back, extra charges etc ) SEE REVEIWS for INTERRENT. autoeurope did try to sort out our problem( without success).....with the reviews that INTERRENT get,...Autoeurope know how bad they are, and by using them ,are as bad as they are. I will not use this company again!”
“Please avoid Auto Europe. The rates they quotes contain hidden costs, that you will only realize once you pick up the car or return the car. In our case: only allowed to drive 50 miles per day ... or pay a big fine. In another case: the car came without any insurance (if we would crash the car, we had to pay the entire cost of the car ourselves).”
