Auto Windscreens replaced my scree last year 2023 which sadly developed a problem with the sealant which made loud wind noise, this year 2024, I did contact them and they have now replaced my windscreen again with no quibble, it is now fixt and I m satisfied with there response. Thank you.

Auto Windscreens are without doubt the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. Over the course of 6 weeks and a litany of errors they completely failed to replace my cracked windscreen. I had to take holiday leave and use my own time TWICE to visit their install depot. The first time they ordered completely the wrong glass, the second time I attended and the glass simply hadn’t been ordered. They promised an installer would attend my house the next day. Eventually after waiting all day somebody did attend at 16:30, took out the old cracked windscreen only to find the new glass was too big and wouldn’t fit so they had to put the cracked windscreen back in, causing more damage in the process and glass everywhere which I then had to clear up. To make matters worse over the course of 6 weeks Auto Windscreens couldn’t be bothered to contact me, leaving me to phone them and do all the work chasing them to try and find out what was happening. The irony is that their phone line is always busy and whilst on hold I am forced to listen to pre-recorded lies about how they are industry leaders with a 97% review score, able to supply and fit ALL types of vehicle glass. Oh well, lies, lies and damn statistics. I complained to their customer service department hoping form some form of good will gesture for all the time and effort wasted, but got nothing. PLEASE if you have a choice save yourself the hassle and DO NOT USE AUTO WINDSCREENS. They are simply an APPALLING company with zero customer service skills and a don’t give a damn attitude. AVOID Auto Windscreens.

i had them install in front windscreen the bmw fitted front camera was not fitted securly and fouling the sun visor now its just dangling phoned them up and they do not want to know,they are a load of cowboys

I took my car into the Milton Branch today. We were very early and we were welcomed by a gentleman who said we could wait inside. The gentleman turned up on time. It was a lovely atmosphere as you heard the staff whistling and busily loading there vans. The windscreen looks like new and the windscreen wipers work like a dream. Thank you so much.

This lot seem to be a bunch of amateurs, received a text message to tell me that an appointment had been made for me at the Warrington depot at 7.15am, it was for a windscreen replacement, thinking that the time was a bit strange, I contacted them, they confirmed it, but when I got there, it was shut, after ringing them again, they said it would be open at 8am, but it didn't, after I checked their emails, it stated that they open at 9am, why would I get an appointment for 7.15 then? A case of, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand's doing. Wasted over 3hrs of my life & fuel, was told someone would phone me, but no one has, as expected I suppose, no one man enough to hold their hand up to the mistake.

Went to screen fit appt 40 mile round trip, they ordered a bmw screen for my audi A5. So waste time. Raised formal complaint which nowbody managed to update me for a week. Ever since auto lights and auto wipers dont work as they broke the plastic unit, seen by me and another auto w engineer, but they fitted it anyway. Now waiting for part so going to be a month without these. Awful customer service and fitting. Avoid avoid.

Was good with booking and getting the windscreen in. But the gentleman that come to replace my broken windscreen couldn't re fit my wind wiper. He said he was unable to but I would be compensated or another engineer would come out to resolve the issue with I had no is with and was fine with. After 2 months of trying to solve this problem. I got told oh no sorry we can only apologise as we would leave this up to you. Our guy couldn't undo the bolts. Before calling these out make sure they can leave your car fully equipped. Manager at Croydon was just useless.

Staff at Dundee shop fitted the windscreen on second visit and so far so good. But I would not use Auto Windscreens again because of the booking process. It was the site my insurance recommended. I had to wait 11 days for an appointment, booked home visit then got a call to say due to Windscreen type I needed to go to shop. Arrived at shop and they had wrong windscreen had to wait another week , 40 mile round trip. Both times appointments booked and given a date but no time. The time is sent by text after 4pm the day before appointment! Who do they think this will suit apart from themselves? How can you plan time away from work when you don't know the appointment time? Not customer friendly at all.

Cracked windscreen reported to Auto Windscreen after a slightly frustrating press one for this, two for something else, eventually spoke to an extremely helpful Andrew who arranged an appointment. Chris of Auto Windscreens replaced my Astra windscreen this afternoon. Telephone call from Chris early in the morning to confirm booking plus a later call with estimated time of arrival. A great job done by a friendly, courteous staff member of Auto Screen. Thank you very much.

Took this windscreen company 2 weeks and 3 appointments to replace my windscreen due to cracking it when installing, then not bothering to order the part they need in 7 days after. Cost me hundreds of pounds in Ubers over this two weeks. Nobody apologised, I had to log a complaint and chase it as they keep choosing to ignore me. Have now offered me TWENTY FIVE POUNDS back, and now ignored me for a further week. DO NOT USE AUTO WINDSCREENS. Overall, a VERY UPSETTING experience. No customer care whatsoever either.

Winsdscreen fitted - would have to wait another week if wanted done at home so had to do a 40 mile round trip. Didn’t realise till I started driving home, but there is a grey cement type glue all my dash. No attempt to clean it! Very poor! Only used them as made to by insurance company. Would not recommend.

Avoid. Aftermarket windscreen incorrectly fitted, had to be refitted. Replacement windscreen not compatible with car auto-wiper functions, & not exact fit. AW Customer Service phone service very slow, and emails ignored. Straight answers not given.

11 DAYS FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO REPLACE WINDSCREEN!! 11 days for an appointment to replace my windscreen - 10 days if I drive 35 miles to a 'service centre'. I am a self employed driver and can not use my vehicle for 11 days! The vehicle is not safe to drive as it is so I will loose two weeks earnings. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! AutoGlass said they could do it in three hours!!! Date of experience: 16 October 2023

ROMFORD BRANCH The worst company i have ever dealt with, came round to replace glass, the so called technician, was sticking metal hooks and hoover pipes down inside the door, then he slammed it full force 7 or 8 times. then he announced the mechanism was broke and there was nothing he could do till i got it fixed, he had tested the mechanism before he started and it was working, after he bashed and poked the door it was not working, he didn't want to accept responsibility and drove away still leaving me with no glass. the stupid secretary rang me to say it wasn't his fault, the manager of the Romford branch didn't have the decency to phone me, I have had numerous conversations with them, they don't listen, they keep promising me to phone back, they never do, last spoke to them at 11 am this morning, said I'll phone you back in a minute, 3 hours later ...nothing. They have no regards for the customer or their shoddy workmanship, and its never their fault, I have been without a drivers glass door for 8 days, with no sign of them fixing what they broke, No reliable customer service, an all round bad company, it was the insurance that had them come round, i will not be insuring with Aviva again, who are saying its up to me to sort it with Auto-windscreens, not least its their contractor, Deal with this shoddy company at your displeasure.

Been waiting 10 days to book a fitting, Chat facility slow and could not provide an update, Hub did not work, just reported an error. Tried ringing - waited 18 min to talk to operator. Operator informed me that if I had accepted a after-market replacement windscreen they could give me a fitting date. As I requested an original part they had no indication of time on how long I would need to wait or even if my insurance would cover the cost. ref 12547979
