Booking the repair was easy, but actually having the windscreen repaired has been torturous. The first technician was supposed to arrive by 1pm, he hadn't, so I rang him on the number provided and he said that I wasn't even on his job list. He promised to ring the call centre who would then ring me. By 1.30pm, and no call, I called Autoscreens to be told a new technician was enroute. By 3pm, when there was no sign of the technician, I rang Autoscreens again. Apparently he was still enroute and the problem had been that his van wasn't big enough to hold a windscreen!!!!!!! I was assured he would be with me by 4.30pm. At 4.30pm, when the technician hadn't arrived, I rang Autoscreens who patched me through to the technician who said it would be 5.30pm by the time he would get to me. I checked that he had been given a heated windscreen, which I had advised upon booking the job, to be told that no he hadn't. There then didn't seem much point him coming to do the replacement if he had the wrong windscreen. I then rang Autoscreens again to be told that although they did have it marked that a heated windscreen should have been brought, they couldn't explain why it hadn't. Autoscreens said that they would ring the next day to arrange a new appointment. They hadn't rung by 10am, so I rang them (again). They've now booked a new appointment for a week's time and apparently "Customer Care" will investigate and ring me. I have no hope that either the technician will turn up or that Customer Care will indeed call. This has to be one of the most incompetent organisations that I've ever encountered with no appropriate reporting structure or anyone willing to take responsibility. If it wasn't that my insurance company insists that I have to use them, I wouldn't go anywhere near them.

Although the repair of a 3mm stone chip was done. 1. There remained on the glass remnants of the stone which caused the chip. 2. Considerable glass damage remained after the fix and this was very visible - most irritating

I was a bit put out when I was told that I could not get my windscreen replaced for over two weeks but the staff assured me that my windscreen would be fine until then and it would not shatter. And they were right. When it came to the appointment I had texts from the office and then some from the technician. In the end I knew almost to the minute when he would arrive. When he did arrive he discussed what he was going to do and how long it would take. He was friendly, courteous and left no mess behind. He asked me to inspect the car before asking me to sign & pay for the works and explaining what not to do until the new screen set in place. All in all a very god experience without any hassle.

Shocking company really really bad with no idea. On my 3rd appointment now as the previous 2 no one showed no phone call no nothing. Being self employed took 2 days off work. Keep clear..

Absolutely shocking company lacking in the most basic customer care. Now on my third appointment having sat four hours on the previous two appointments waiting for them to turn up. They hadn't even ordered my windscreen on these two occasions and I never received a phone call to say they would not be coming. Disgraceful behaviour from a supposed first class national company.

Glass not in stock so although told we would be likely to get the window fixed the day it was reported, the job was not completed until 2 days later. Disappointed that it took so long. The fitter was good and job completed well when he got to us.

Friendly driver who fixed my window quickly, explaining what he was doing and why. Arrived early and within the time slot that was text to me. Great service

Good communication by company via e-mail and telephone. Windscreen technician very professional and friendly. Would not hesitate to use this company again or recommend to family and friends.

Excellent service received phone call to advise arrival time turned up on time inspected damage and advised it was repairable all done in 15 minutes and so far everything O.K

The gentleman that came, Olly I believe his name was, was lovely, explained step by step what he was going to do and as he did the work, said what stage was doing to fix the chip. He was happy to answer all my questions, IF I have another chip, will defiantly be calling auto windscreens again!!

When Auto Windscreens replaced my passenger front window they were very good the young man was very polite and cleaned up all the broken glass which was everywhere, he checked the mechanism to make sure the electric window was in full working order and had my car fit to drive again in less than an hour great service. In less than 24hrs it was like the brake in to my car had never happened.

Although I had to wait a week for the replacement (only a crack so no biggie) the fitter arrived at the appointed time. He was courteous and efficient. Very good overall service. Hammer

Good communication. Engineer arrived when advised and phoned in advance. Repair job was done within 20 minutes and was well done. Recommended
