windscreen replaced brilliant service from calling the call centre to actually getting it fixed by steve from poole thanks for doing it so quick hopefully wont need it again for awhile but the number 1 for rep;lacing windscreens

Have just had Lloyd here to replace my daughter's windscreen. He arrived promptly, having rung to let us know he was on his way. A very friendly guy who did an excellent job.

Young local fella came out to fit a screen to a MK7 Volkswagen Golf R, very friendly, forgot his name cause I'm terrible with them, however assured me after previous terrible repairs on different cars that this would be top notch, and he wasn't wrong. Invited him inside to complete the repair, rather than outside which was a blessing is disguise as it was terrible weather outside. The young fella talked me through the repair, and made sure I was happy with the condition both before and after the installation. Never once did I feel rushed, yet he was still able to complete the repair quicker than previous installations? One word... fantastic! Signed it all off and left a happy man! Would recommend these guys whether it's an insurance job, or a cash replacement. He also gave me great advice about windscreen chip repairs and replacement's if you're not covered by insurance which they are able to accommodate as well!

Hi please note that I booked rear windscreen replacement. Give me very long time to replace . Also they charge me twice. So please double check your statement. When I found they charge twice I rang them and explain but customer service said they will call me within 48 hrs. !!!!!!!!!!!!!! . Although they take twice still they don't worry their customer situation . wow!!!!!!!!!!!! what a customer service.......................

Mark, the fitter was a very pleasant and nice guy, he rang first thing in the morning to advise of an estimated time of arrival which turned out not to be convenient due to a hospital appt for me. He said not to worry, he would work around me and asked me to call him when I knew I would be available. When I did he gave me a new time of arrival which he stuck to. He did a great tidy job on my car and I felt confident and happy at all times during the process of booking the appt to getting the work done. Thanks to all, but especially Mark from Doncaster, his manager should be made aware of these comments please. Thanks Paul

Absolutely despicable and dishonest. The installer that came to replace my windscreen on my Alfa chipped the paintwork on the wing and tried to hide it with trim and sealant. I didn't find out until I washed the car several weeks later. I didn't contact Autowindscreens as I though it would be difficult to argue the case due to the elapsed time and poor customer service as I found out when I complaint about the quality of the new windscreen.

The booking process was very quick and efficient. The technician arrived on time, worked quickly, and was pleasant, tidy, and very efficient in the way he worked. He was very polite, he took a great deal of care of my vehicle, and did a great job. Overall, I was delighted with the company and their work.

The Technician was punctual and efficient. The repair he achieved was excellent and carried out within a very short period, so we did not feel inconvenienced at all. He fully explained the process so we understood precisely what he was going to do. All round great service!

On my fourth appointment now laughable service. First appoinement told 30 mins prior that the windscreen had not arrived even though text received night before. Second appointment technician failed to turn up; rang call centre and they could not track him down; well it was 3pm Friday probably a long day. Third appointment brought the wrong windscreen. So here we sit appointment number 4 today...you never know. Keep clear...

Received an excellent service from start to finish. The staff taking the original call and booking and making the appointment were vety efficent and helpful. The Technician who attended to fit the screen was excellent very efficient and polite and a credit to the company. An excellant service all round

Absolutely appalling service!!!!!! Never dealt with such an incompetent company!!!!! 3 weeks wait for a Range Rover screen then 2 NO SHOWS!!! & no contact !!!

Booking the repair was easy, but actually having the windscreen repaired has been torturous. The first technician was supposed to arrive by 1pm, he hadn't, so I rang him on the number provided and he said that I wasn't even on his job list. He promised to ring the call centre who would then ring me. By 1.30pm, and no call, I called Autoscreens to be told a new technician was enroute. By 3pm, when there was no sign of the technician, I rang Autoscreens again. Apparently he was still enroute and the problem had been that his van wasn't big enough to hold a windscreen!!!!!!! I was assured he would be with me by 4.30pm. At 4.30pm, when the technician hadn't arrived, I rang Autoscreens who patched me through to the technician who said it would be 5.30pm by the time he would get to me. I checked that he had been given a heated windscreen, which I had advised upon booking the job, to be told that no he hadn't. There then didn't seem much point him coming to do the replacement if he had the wrong windscreen. I then rang Autoscreens again to be told that although they did have it marked that a heated windscreen should have been brought, they couldn't explain why it hadn't. Autoscreens said that they would ring the next day to arrange a new appointment. They hadn't rung by 10am, so I rang them (again). They've now booked a new appointment for a week's time and apparently "Customer Care" will investigate and ring me. I have no hope that either the technician will turn up or that Customer Care will indeed call. This has to be one of the most incompetent organisations that I've ever encountered with no appropriate reporting structure or anyone willing to take responsibility. If it wasn't that my insurance company insists that I have to use them, I wouldn't go anywhere near them.

Although the repair of a 3mm stone chip was done. 1. There remained on the glass remnants of the stone which caused the chip. 2. Considerable glass damage remained after the fix and this was very visible - most irritating
