After my windscreen got smashed i needed a replacement asap! My insurer put me through to autowindcreens. I called to book a appointment the next available appointment was in 4 days time so they sceduled me in for the Wednesday morning with a time slot between 8-1. Wednesday comes i get a call at 9am saying technician was ill so they rebooked me in on the Saturday with the same time slot. Saturday comes its near 11am i ring to make sure they are still coming to which the guy tells me there was a glitch in their system and it was booked in for Monday 12-5. Monday comes thankfully they turnt up. The technician craig baldwin was great, friendly and cracked on with the job. But the booking system is a shambles. I wouldnt feel comfortable relying on them in the future, espicially if you need a fix ASAP

VERY POOR!!!!!!!!. Many no shows appointments with no contact. When I did get through by phone , to them kept blaming computers. Had to go back to insurance company and get another company to do the job. Will never use again and would warn anyone needing a windscreen to avoid this company

just the best service -even though guy couldn't replace the window he went far far above and beyond to get us back on the road again - saved our weekend!

Unbelievably bad service! Reported broken screen on 14th October. Took the job away from them on 1st December. In this time 8 appointments made and either cancelled by them, no show or wrong date. Excuses were:- screen not delivered to them (twice), Delayed by bad weather, Screen damaged (twice), Wrong trim, Small fitting part missing, Wrong screen. All this is spite of frequent phone calls from me to depot and head office and promises by various "management" to oversee or monitor the situation. The final straw was when an appointment for PM on Wednesday 2nd December was confirmed by SMS as being AM on Tuesday 1st and then cancelled "cracked screen". Avoid them like the plague and don't let your Insurers push you into using them.

Very efficient service. The fitter was obviously very happy in his job. He was cheerful, nothing was too much trouble and he certainly "knew his stuff". A credit to your Company.

so far one of the worsts companies that i have ever deal in UK booked 5 weeks ago and still didnt get any re pair done . re scheduled 3 times !!! Please avoid them

Booked a windscreen replacement, was told it would be in 8 days time, I would lose my place if they did a search for an earlier date. Went back to Insurance company gave another screen company got it done next day....brilliant. Made a call to Auto Windscreens to cancel the booking, kept me on hold for 12.5 minutes...gave up, tried again 10 minutes later....5 minutes wait so gave up....if you read these REF was 8637785. Cancel it please

I was very disappointed with the administration as it took numerous phone calls before they sorted out what rear screen was needed and twelve days before it was booked in to be replaced. I received a text from Auto Windscreens to give me the day and time etc and nobody turned up on calling them I was told the text was a mistake and that the fitting was booked for the following day. This was carried out on time by a very good professional courteous fitter who did an excellent job.

Easy to arrange with Call Centre and made appointment within a couple of days for windscreen repair. The man called in advance to announce his arrival and did an excellent job. You can hardly see where damage occurred and it saved having to replace the whole screen. Fabulous - thanks !

Unusual for a service to be exactly as described but this was . When promised and in the time indicated by a competent courteous advocate of the company. Difficult circumstances to carry out your job in the cold and rain. A good experience.

Booked this company as my windscreen had been hit with two stones and had cracked. Was easily booked in for 5 days after the event. Then had a phone call less than 24hrs before my appointment to be told they don't carry my window in stock, needs to come from a dealer and it would take another 7 days!!!! WHY BOOK ME IN AND THEN TELL ME THE DAY BEFORE THAT YOU DONT HAVE MY WINDOW!!! Surely you would know if you had it or not the day I gave you my details and you booked me in!!!! This is a disgrace as I don't wish to use my car with a giant crack in the windscreen!!! Why not tell me on the day or have atleast ordered it on the day you booked me in to save me time!!!! What a load of bollocks!!

I have now been waiting over 4 weeks for my windscreen to be replaced... They did not turn up for the 1st appointment and when I called that evening to ask why they said there had been a computer error and the job had not been assigned to a technician. The day before the 2nd appointment they rang to cancel with the same excuse and they have just called now to cancel the 3rd appointment, with the same excuse again - despite the fact I rang them on Friday to check that everything was going ahead fine. Unbelievably they have now offered me a date over a week away - by which time I will have been without the use of my car for over 5 weeks! The worst service I have ever encountered

Utterly and fatally incompetent. Unfortunately my insurance company use them, and so far I have had one cancelled booking (glass not delivered to installer), one visit with the wrong glass, and last Thurs- another cancelled booking (no reason given). I have had a few text messages and calls, but sadly, no actual windscreen replacement I do think that there are some competent people working there but they are outnumbered by the incompetent and hampered by inadequate dysfunctional systems. The consequences for me have been a car that is now not useable as I have missed 3 MOT appointments. If you are paying for your own screen, please do not use this company. They deserve to go out of business.

I have a very common car. Made 4 appointments to get my windscreen replaced and every time they failed to come. No communication, and the call center lied to me instead of finding out the issue. Terrible terrible company with no customer service. Everytime I talked to them they didn't care.

My car is a Jaguar XF. It is 3 years old at the end of this month and needs an MOT. Mid-month the windscreen was chipped by a stone. I've sent a photo of the damage to my garage/dealer and they advise me that this would result in a MOT failure. I can't tax the car without an MOT, and I can't get an MOT without the screen being repaired or replaced! So far, Auto Windscreens have made three appointments over two weeks and have cancelled each one since they don't have a replacement screen. In a few days I won't be able to drive the car legally. Auto Windscreens have NOT delivered (even after giving assurances) and I have no confidence that they will do what they say. So, if your car is less than 'common' LOOK ELSEWHERE !
