I've been doing a garden project laying a new patio & Jamie has been helping me to the car with my click & collect orders of supplies. Both Jamie & Ann have taken a genuine interest in my project & been so kind helpful & supportive, even taking the time to look at my photos. These positive interactions have meant a great deal to me. “After looking for paint over the last 2days, the help and advice from Jane and John in the paint mixing department at B&Q Doncaster we finally got the paint we’re looking for. They were both really helpful and couldn’t do enough to help us. With out their help we would still be looking. Thank you Jane And John 5 star. Ivan and Marjorie (two young 78year olds).”

“Wanted help with cutting some wood. I was busy and all over the place. Visited the Poole store and a young chap named Ashley in the timber cutting department was very helpful. He found me an A frame trolley in the Garden Centre, helped me choose the timber, helped with the measurements ( in inches!) and did a great job, being pleasant efficient and friendly. Great to see someone interested in their job, who understands customer needs, and was cheerful and helpful. Hope he goes far in life.”

“Visited the Penrith B&Q today Monday1/7/24 and purchased outside table and chairs and ventilation unit. I first encountered Alisdair who promptly answered my enquiry and pointed me in the direction of a guy called Paul who assisted me and my wife with the large packages, and helped us with getting them into our car. Paul was brilliant from start to finish, even when we found out the box wouldn’t fit in the car, he unpacked the merchandise and packed it neatly, safely in our veichle. The customer service was excellent from start to finish, and a breath of fresh air in comparison to other outlets we visit. Well done Paul and Alisdair.”

“I needed some advice and help. Alice at B&Q Hemel Hempstead was outstanding. She spent over half an hour patiently listening to me and suggesting solutions. She sorted my problem and it is because of Alice I will use B&Q again. Fabulous customer service.”

“Was looking to buy a new kitchen and Mackenzie was fabulous helping design a kitchen. He was very professional and very helpful all in all a very lovely person a real asset to the B&Q team. Another member of staff I must mention is Grant had an issue with the kitchen tiles and he sorted it for us very efficient another lovely awesome person. Definitely think B&Q at Longwell Green are super helpful and nothing too much trouble.”

“Jim, on paint mixing, estimated (from a photo) how much paint I would need to do 2 coats on my very large summerhouse and mixed my contrasting colour perfectly. I had no idea how many tins I needed but Jim was spot on! So helpful, and knowledgeable. Thanks Jim !”

“The advice I received for Ali in the Sunderland B & Q store was amazing. She talked me through how to select the correct shade for my project and and what brushes etc I would need. If it had not been for her guidance I would have probably wasted a lot of money!! Thanks Ali , she is a credit to your company.”

“We were in the dewbury b&q on Saturday the 9th of march we were served by abdula and bidal the service was absolutely brilliant they were so helpfull and very friendly northing was too much trouble for them anybody wanting help with a kitchen theses are the two men to ask fab fab fab thanks donna”

“David in the St Austell branch is absolutely brilliant with regard to kitchen and bathroom design. Nothing is too much trouble for him, he has a wealth of experience, is always patient and never fazed by any changes we made (even after purchase). David stands out head and shoulders above any other salesperson we have dealt with - well done!”

“The cover of our garden furniture blew away and left the chairs and table exposed to the elements. We bought it in B&Q Athlone and went on spec on 3rd. January 2023 to see if they had a replacement cover. We knew this was a long chance since it was not the season for garden furniture. We met Louise one of your assistants and explained our problem. We were able to give her a description of the item. She looked up her hand held computer and told us there was one somewhere in the store. She got an idea of its location and with the aid of a mobile ladder this wonderful lady spent 20 minutes looking through shelves three levels from the floor. She was successful with the help of another assistant. Louise could have told us that it was not the season for these items and left it at that. However she was determined to help us and i can only say this lady went way and beyond what I was expecting. Well done Louise and well done B&Q.”
