“David in the St Austell branch is absolutely brilliant with regard to kitchen and bathroom design. Nothing is too much trouble for him, he has a wealth of experience, is always patient and never fazed by any changes we made (even after purchase). David stands out head and shoulders above any other salesperson we have dealt with - well done!”

“The cover of our garden furniture blew away and left the chairs and table exposed to the elements. We bought it in B&Q Athlone and went on spec on 3rd. January 2023 to see if they had a replacement cover. We knew this was a long chance since it was not the season for garden furniture. We met Louise one of your assistants and explained our problem. We were able to give her a description of the item. She looked up her hand held computer and told us there was one somewhere in the store. She got an idea of its location and with the aid of a mobile ladder this wonderful lady spent 20 minutes looking through shelves three levels from the floor. She was successful with the help of another assistant. Louise could have told us that it was not the season for these items and left it at that. However she was determined to help us and i can only say this lady went way and beyond what I was expecting. Well done Louise and well done B&Q.”

“HAD TO RETURN KITCHEN UNITS JUST PRIOR TO CLOSING TIME AND WAS SERVED BY KIRSTY IN THE ABERDEEN GARTHDEE STORE AND ABOUT THE MOST PLEASANT HELPFUL ASSISTANT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH NOTHING WAS TO MUCH TROUBLE SHE EVEN BROUGHT THE GOODS TO MY CAR FOR ME .WHAT A PITY THERE WASNT MORE LIKE HER. WOULD HAVE NO HESITATION GOING BACK 10/10.”

“Visited the Speke store today 28/9/23 at 11.30 a.m to buy Valspar paint. Leanne served me( I think that was her name) and what a super and amazing assistant she is.I cant rate her highly enough. She was so helpful and caring. She went above and beyond to ensure I got the colour paint I required whilst helping and advising other customers at the same time. She really is an asset to your company. She gets 10/10 from me and I would not hesitate to recommend her. I hope she gets the credit she deserves.”

“Dan , Hollie and all the kitchen showroom staff were polite , knowledgeable , professional , courteous and very helpful . We changed our designs several times , the service was excellent each time . We ended up with a great bathroom for our dad who struggled to get into the bath - changed to shower - lovely products - the staff is the best thing - would recommend”

“Called at the Keighley branch to purchase a gardening item. Unfortunately it was out off stock, however a very helpful assistant, Naveed. Went the extra 10 miles. He collected the item from the Nelson branch and brought it to Keighley, where I purchased it the following afternoon. Very well done and thank you very much.”

“The customer service at the B and Q in Bolton was excellent. The 3 staff, from the warehouse and the customer services desk were fab, from getting the shed we wanted from the warehouse to putting it in the car for us. Nothing was too much trouble...and a few laughs and jokes added to the experience. Thank you to all three of you.”

“Bought OSB 3 board at Hartciffe Bristol branch and had it cut to size. B and Q staff on hand to help me transport the large and unwieldy board to the cutting station. Matt who did the cutting was excellent. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. He ensured that I used the board to its optimal potential. Thoroughly recommend this store and their staff.”

“Yesterday, 10th May, I telephoned your branch on the industrial estate in Friern Barnet to find out whether some multi purpose compost was available. The phone was answered by a delightful chap who was so helpful and patient. He just couldn't have been nicer and it was such a pleasure to speak to someone who was especially pleasant. I believe his name is Anthony and I think that he is credit to your company and it would be lovely if everyone could be as interested in their job as him.”

“Fantastic experience at B&Q Shrewsbury Featherbed Lane. Just ordered two Bathrooms and a Kitchen, Sherry and Kaz were so friendly and helpful and made the whole experience very enjoyable, Very helpful friendly Extremely knowledgeable and help to design a very difficult shaped kitchen . So good to see the design come together in 3D . Was offered hot chocolate and biscuits which was a nice touch. What a fantastic team you have at Shrewsbury I would highly recommend anyone to get a kitchen or bathroom from B&Q . And to go to Sherry or Kaz as they will really look after you”

“Wonderful experience at B& Q Rhyl. Sam assisted me with 2 kitchen designs, spending over 2 hours helping me to co ordinate cabinets, tiles, worktops and flooring. I was able to visualise the new kitchen with a 3D to scale image using the software on their system. The staff were so helpful and friendly and even bought coffee and biscuits for me. The quoted price was excellent particularly with the 25% discount the company advertised until the end of January. I would thoroughly recommend the selection of products with good quality up to date designs. The Rhyl store was a joy to visit and the staff an absolute credit-really friendly, helpful, skilled, knowledgeable and very hardworking. Thank you so much especially to Sam for all his kind assistance. It is clear that the team are all very good at their jobs and a breath of fresh air in these troubled times!”
