The actual bookshelf is beautiful, and works great. But our came damaged and when I attempted to contact someone regarding this I was ignored.

I had to ring Baby Village to chase up my order. At the time of ordering, the item was in stock and according to the eta there was no expected delay. When I rang, the lady said there were 2 in stock and she’d chase it up for me, indicating my order had been missed. Thankfully she did and it got sent the following day. Unfortunately I shouldn’t be the one ringing to push through my order, very dissatisfied.

Terrible service and communication throughout the shopping experience. I placed an order in August for an item, which I still haven't received. The baby will be moved out of home at this rate before I get the product.

My rating is based on the postage fees and the service provided around them. I purchased a large product and the postage was $14. I then made a second order for 2 dummy’s and an item of clothing and the postage was $29. I brought this up with the store given I live 15mins from the city and questioned why the price difference (and such a large amount for a small parcel). They replied stating that that was the postage amount, full stop.. after further enquiries only then did they add to an existing order for the postage to be reduced. The service was extremely disappointing on this matter

Staff at Bondi junction store need training in the products you stock and customer service skills. Two staff members could not help us with a simple inquiry regarding an item advertised on your site. When the store manager was called over to assist us in-store she was very inconvenienced by the staff members asking for her assistance and was not pleasant at all in her dealing with us. I have bought many items from this store for all my children but I have to say I would be looking at visiting Baby Bunting or Baby Kingdom in the future for any purchases I require as the service is much better.

I purchased two products. One came with the back of the packet already torn open, and the other box had been cut in the middle. Luckily it hadn't damaged the product.

Hi Meredith , We appreciate your feedback . Just to clarify your order came through on 1st April with an estimated shipping date of 24th May ( this was listed on the website the add to cart prior to paying and also your emailed order confirmation ) . We actually sent your order out early on the 12th May and you received this on the 16th May . The reason for the original date of 25th May as a dispatch date was due to the supplier not sending us stock . We are alittle confused as to why the 1 star was given when we shipped out and you received prior to the estimated shipping date . BV x

Would give 0 if I could. Took days to respond. Order was late. Tried to offer me whatever was in stock in place of my original order just so they could fulfil and then thought that throwing in a free cover would appease.

Hi Anthony , We do value your feedback so thank you . As per our multiple emails the delay was due to a supplier issue ,not Baby Village Unfortunately supplier delays are out of our control we do do our best to advise our customers once we have updates . From looking back at all of our email correspondence there has been no more than a 48 hours on each email response ( our auto response from each email back to you does state 4 days in the even we are busy ) . With the offer of an alternate colour this was purely to offer something as some customers are fine with this , rather than wait for the delay . The free shipping and the cushion was a goodwill gesture to thank you for the delay and inconvenience. Hope you enjoy your Stokke Chair . Nicole

Waited a month for an item. Paid shipping costs. Received the wrong item last week. Was demanded photos of the label on the box of the wrong item, then haven’t heard back.

I had placed my order two weeks prior to the day I needed it. Three days from the due dates I had not received an update about the order. I reached to find out what’s happed to my order, two days later found out that my order wasn't ready and wasn't available in store and had to further wait for my order to be sent to the store. I had to modify my original order as what I wanted to purchase wasn’t available in store, to be told that what I had already modified was no longer available and to wait longer, I was not impressed. After all the hassle communicating back and forward over email, to then go to the store in the day of the baby shower to be told my order was not ready I was furious. I had to demand the lady to go look for it out the back, as I was assured it would be there. After waiting 10 minutes for the staff member to find it, I wasn’t apologised to after her being wrong and refusing to look for my order. At the end it least I had my order unlike my friend that had also purchased at the same time as me, also reached out to customer support and was told it would be there but there order was not there and where angrier then me. We had to get there gift sent to there house instead of it even does show up and had to write the address down 3 times as the lady kept throwing out the address. This review will be posted online unless baby village will reimburse me for my troubles and showing up to the baby shower empty handed.
