When we were with one senior staff member enquiring if ye had a product in stock and I asked her if Baby Village did price matching with other similar stores she didn’t answer my query and just walked away from me and my partner, very disappointing that a staff member could no longer assisst us with shopping because we asked this question. Serious lack of professionalism

After weeks with no news about my purchased product and no reply to my email, I called to hear that they were waiting to receive the colour I had ordered. As it was going to be too late for the baby shower I had, I asked to swap for something else. Whilst they were helpful and friendly over the phone, I still had to call again cause they never replied to my email confirming which product I wanted to swap with. In other words, staff is friendly but they’re not up-to-speed when it comes to online communication and fast delivery.

Ordered Cybex Lemo chair combo end of financial year and before I put the order through I rang baby village twice to confirm they have got the stock with an yes answer ETA end of July. I put the order through and started lengthy wait and numerous phone calls and emails. 3 month on my baby arrived and the chair arrived with an unmatched sit, despite the tray delivered a week later. Had to have cybex rep from Melbourne to exchange correct stock for me. Ordered latest version and was given a old version of sit with new version of chair. I was told from cybex supplier they have always got the stock from warehouse, whereas baby village told me Cybex had discounted the colour I originally ordered (this is August) and replaced with a new order of colour. The first and last time I shop with baby village and surely with all apologies in the email from baby village I had the worst shopping experience ever.

Received my order but an item I ordered was missing and they sent the wrong item. Still waiting for the replacement to be sent as they expect me to make a trip to the post office to return the wrong item.

Good range of products and purchase arrived in a reasonable time. However I’m very unhappy with the returns process. It’s far more cumbersome than most, requiring a form to be printed, filled out and returned with the item, in a restricted time frame, and the customer is required to pay for the cost of the return shipping. They also don’t offer a refund for the return of a completely unopened product - just a store credit. If you look at the fine print on the website they tell you all of this (I didn’t click through to the fine print when I purchased, so I can’t complain I wasn’t told) , but given their competitors have far easier and more generous returns policies, and I have limited time with three small children, I definitely won’t be risking a purchase from Baby Village again.

Hi Emily, We do appreciate your feedback and thank you for sending it through . From looking at your order the incorrect bumper bar was purchased . With most returns in retail there is always a return time frame that the item needs to be returned , ours is 28 days which is very reasonable . With the form we require this is required as if it isnt included we have no record of who the return is from and what the outcome needs to be . We dont specify a refund can't be provided we offer an exchange or credit , if you would like a refund we can definetly arrange this . I'm sorry you have chosen to not shop with Baby Village again but we do hope you change your mind ! BV x

We were disappointed with the communications on our order. Appreciate the team are not responsible for the timing of stock received by Baby Village, but there was no indication the product wasn't available for shipping when the order was made and they were unable to provide a concrete date they would receive the stock. We had to get in touch for updates each week for a month and were provided the same response each time - should be here next week. Once the stock arrived shipping to us was very quick.

Hi Henry , Thank you for your feedback ! We do appreciate this experience wasnt as smooth as it should of been . Lately we have had delays with Bugaboo that are unusual for them . The weekly updates that we advised you were based on Bugaboo responses we do appreciate this is completly fustrating . The website didnt have a delayed date as this occured after your sale was created . Our apoloiges for you having to contact us to obtain updates , this is definetly not how our Customer Serice team works . We do hope to see you shop with us in the future ! Nicole

Amazing product, disappointing service. Delivery took 4 weeks- I had to follow up 3 times (no response to online chat or email) and was told on phone that there has been a delay in products however I never received any updates. Pump is amazing and highly recommend!

Hi Lindy , Our Apologies for the delay with your Medela pump there was an Australia wide delay due to the supplier and a stock issue . I am very sorry your weren't updated regarding the delay . We do hope you shop with us in the future BVx
