“It came as no surprise the passing of Pat my wife of 57 years, we had time to talk about it, she wanted no fuss or bother, just a straightforward cremation, ashes brought home, and me to place them where she decided she would want to be laid to rest. A friend of ours whose best friend just lost her husband, and had used Bare Cremation. So, when Pat was in palliative care, I got in touch with them, and you would not find more caring people, very help full and explained everything. On the day Pat died, the nurse at the hospital asked what undertaker to ring, she rang Bare as requested. They came to Port Fairy later that day to collect her. After that, we had several phone conversations and all the forms came via email. For me, all this was a very stressful time, but no extra stress was added. I would very highly recommend Bare Cremations. I believe they do pre-paid cremations, so I'll be organizing that, when I get over losing my soul matr.”

“I became aware of Bare the morning my wife died. I went online, filled out a couple of forms then left it to Bare. The subsequent outcome was just the way we wanted, no fuss, everything taken care of by Bare. Very highly recommended.”

“A big thanks to Bare Cremations. My Dad's cremation went ahead stress-free with kind and caring staff that kept in contact with me. I had access to a lot of support and information however anything I felt I couldn't do Bare Cremations sorted for me. All staff were considerate and made it a simple process for me to follow. “An excellent service at all stages from completing online forms to the arrangements on mum’s passing. At all times I was kept informed of procedures and I had the peace of mind knowing that everything was done . The compassion and caring of everyone I dealt with was exceptional and I highly recommend BARE.”

“from my very first phone call to inquire, I was immediately drawn to the warmth, care and compassion shown by BARE and chose them on the strength of this first call. I have not been disappointed at any stage of what would have been an incredibly stressful time. My case manager Sophie was wonderful and available any time to talk and help me through. The whole process was carried out with professionalism and compassion. I would not hesitate to recommend BARE highly.”

“My sister's and I couldn't afford a funeral and if we paid on credit cards we couldn't agree on all of the mourners that had touched Dad and visa versa, I ended up having a separate wake without my 3 sisters and am organising another one to suit they're feelings. None of us want to feel cheap when an irreplaceable loved one passes so we were very reluctant to make a decision based on lack of money . After speaking with funeral directors and religious influences we rang Bare and started ringing them independently 4 off us continually! As they have all the expertise and sensitivity that we needed to diffuse our different options. Bare never tried to sway our decision on who to go with for Dad,they only educated us and in that ,they were the right choice regardless that they weren't expensive. Bare only said let us know if you choose us and when you're Father passes we'll be there quickly for us. Both happened and I waited for Bares staff to pick up Dad, they were lovely and very prompt . I haven't mentioned any staff members names because I'm afraid to leave someone out of my absolute praise for all Bare staff. I couldn't hug a lady from Bare that came to pick up Dad as I didn't want to lose pride by falling apart and my sincere regrets for being that person was the only that wasn't lovely. Thankyou Bare ,I couldn't have coped at all without your team . Lots of hugs Deep respect Best future in happiness and thankyou for your care . Dan.”

“I would highly recommend Bare. They done everything for me from arranging cremation, Doctors certificate of death to Births Deaths and Marriages certificate of death. It took all the stress away and I was able to grieve for my loss. Staff are very caring with daily calls to check on my well being. They felt more like a family member keeping me updated on the process as I would have had to do myself. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has to deal with a loss.”

“The professionalism of all BARE staff and their caring personal attention from my first phone call (when my wife passed away on 15th April 2023), until her ashes were returned home on 5th May, was exemplary. The staff are all great communicators and guided me through the entire process respectfully and sympathetically. All arrangements were completed smoothly by phone and email. Fees were as quoted and very reasonable. The service provided by BARE exceeded my expectations and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone considering a sensible, practical alternative to a traditional funeral.”
