“My mother passed away on 13/4/21. She had funeral insurance which my parents had paid into most of their life. The problem was that it only gave a credit of $1000 if you used one of their accredited suppliers. That left a minimum payment of at least $5000 to get Mum cremated. I knew this before Mum passed on, so I was ready to make some logical decisions during this difficult time. I subscribe to Choice, which I must give them a plug, they are so helpful in making financial decisions. They have some very informative info on how to avoid being overcharged for funerals & what to do. After reading their info I decide on a simple cremation & a wake at my house. I found Bare Funerals on the net. They were great & easy to deal with. The wake went so well at my house with all my Mum's friends & family. Everyone commented on what a great send off for Mum. She would be very pleased that I did not spend $10,000 plus on her Funeral. Bare Cremations only cost approx $1900. I highly recommend Bare Cremations.
