Ordered a Roper Rhodes tap with them and then told 2 days later it's discontinued! What a waste of my time. Won't be using them again

Order, deliver and collection process is very poor and complex.

Hi Mohammed, I am sorry that you feel our delivery and collection is poor. I can see that you ordered with us on Dec 22nd and you amended the delivery to a local service point, but I can't see that you have contacted us about a return. Despite placing an order for a single item in sufficient time for Delivery prior to Christmas it was several days before I was advised that the item would not be dispatched until after 5th January at the earliest!

Hi Robert, I am so sorry that you felt the need to leave us a negative review. We did quote 10 working days on the product and order confirmation which would have taken the delivery to 9th January due to the Christmas break based on the order date of 18th Dec. As I advised on my email of 22nd Dec, we had been told by Roca that we were not getting any deliveries from them until 11th Jan. A toilet seat was delivered wit the wrong fitting. I emailed them on Friday evening with photos of all the fittings and a request to send replacements. It is now Thursday evening and I have had no response. Very poor customer service!

Good morning Gwyneth, I can see that you had a live chat with Afia who then emailed you on the 25th November to advise that Duravit would send a replacemebt fittings pack directly to you. Ordered a toilet seat which was delivered to my house by DHL I wasn’t in it was left at my door step and send a email said I signed for it , which I didn’t I didn’t receive the toilet seat which I have been charged for, I said on my DHL email to them to give it to my neighbour which they didn’t so I have had a dreadful experience with Bathrooms and Kitchens and the company they use to deliver.

Sell product that they haven't got in stock and expect you to wait 6 weeks and be happy. Having been in business for twenty years myself I feel honesty is the best policy

Good Morning Mark, Thank you for the review, albeit a negative one. We quoted you ten qorking days when you placed your order with us, it was only after we ordered the stock from Grohe, that we were alerted to an issue with production and the extended lead time. As a company, we advise a lead time of no more than 10 working days as generally that is what we are able to achieve, however due to the current worldwide supply chain issues, we do sometimes fail. These are unforeseen circumstances totally out of our control. Whilst the UK is coming out of the Covid restrictions, many countries that supply components of the products we sell have not. This coupled with Brexit, driver shortages, energy price increases, the Ukrainian War and so on does sometimes impact the supply chain. Sadly we often only find out when we try to order something to fulfill a customer order. Whilst we do have a good sized warehouse, we are not able to keep everything on the website on our shelves. I am sorry that we have not been able to supply your order in a timely fashion, but I do believe the service you have received has been informative. Ordered replacement shower unit, was delivered to address in London, I live in Birmingham, still waiting for order despite being promised it would get delivered quickly

I understand Afia has been trying to resolve the error that we made when despatching your order, it is very unfortunate that we are also out of stock and were unable to send a replacement quickly. Good Afternoon Patricia, Thank you for your review, albeit a negative one. We value all feedback from our customers in the hope we can improve service where required. We did advise you at the point of order that it would take 10 working days to be able to get the flush plate to you and I can see that Afia has been communicating with you regularly to explain there has been a delay from Roca. In all communication, we have offered to cancel and refund you in full if you are not happy to wait and no, we are not stalling just to keep your money. There have been major delays in the supply chain process over the last few months due to the ongoing problems with Covid, Brexit and the Ukrainian War as I am sure you have seen on the news. Sadly, this has impacted stock availability for certain products. I am so very sorry that the flush plate you have ordered has got caught up in this.
