“Good selection, good filtering on website, good delivery and communication, but website has a few glitches and beers are as expensive as in a high street shop”

“Excellent service, beers were delivered 2 days after order and within the 1 hour slot provided. I was using vouchers I had been given which I found a little confusing to get applied but eventually found it. Excellent range of beers, I ordered two different crates. I don't think the value is great given it is an online company and buying non custom crates so would expect lower price per bottle. Wouldn't expect to pay much more for individual bottle in a pub for some of these beers. Some are often in supermarkets for less as well. As mentioned, mine were free as a gift otherwise wouldn't use the site.”

“Brilliant from start to finish. Quick delivery and the extra little touches in the box were great and made it feel like a premium service. I especially liked the card with tips on how to pour different beers.”

“I needed a last minute gift for a colleague and Beer Hawk was able to arrange a next day delivery which included a personal message. The service was excellent, the office staff very helpful, case arrived on time as arranged and I was able to track its progress so knew exactly when to expect it. Didn't get to sample the contents but the recipient was thrilled with the gift! Great service all round, many thanks!”

“Problems with the order initially being wrong and also only part delivered. Customer services were helpful and it was fixed in the end but only after several missed attempts. Query to the courier company about part of the process only got as far as an acknowledgement email with a promise of a follow up that never came. Beers look ok but there's probably an easier way to get them.”

“Purchased as a birthday present for my brother-in-law. He was over the moon with his selection of beers. Out of the 10 we got he'd only ever tried and heard of 1 of them. Total bonus. From now on these hampers will be a winner for the men in the family. Thank you!”

“Ordered a mixed case late on the Friday night, received confirmation straight away. Shipped on the Monday, the email had a tracking number so I could see where it was. Delivery turned up the next day. What's not to like?!”

“All the items ordered - beers and glasses - were good and as expected. However I had a problem in that 2 parts of my order were missing and presumed forgotten about. All items were gifts for my son's birthday and we didn't realise that it was only a part order until the large boxes were opened on his birthday. They were dispatched quickly after I emailed and asked where they were. Also I was very disappointed not to get my goods in the 3 day time limit advertised on the website as they were gifts and I felt let down. Further to this I have had no apology from Beer Hawk at all. I am in Naked Wines wine club and their Customer Service is outstanding. Any problems with delivery or the wine etc and they are very quick to apologise.”

“Hi, the product itself is superb and i'll happily recommend to friends. However, I received part of my order two days after it was originally arranged to be delivered as there was an issue, and I have had to chase for the remainder of the order (4 bottles) which i have yet to receive but have been told I will receive this week. I understand the issues with deliveries, but for a first order it has been a little disappointing, especially as these were/are a gift. Many thanks”

Hi Nicholas, sorry that the delivery was split with the couriers and arrived separately, this does not usually happen on orders, i have spoken to the couriers about it. thanks
