“I bought the 'pack' of 10 beers as a birthday present for my brother. They were sent direct to him. He was very pleased with the selection and with the beer, and sent me a photo of them. I was very disappointed to see that the 10 beers had been delivered in a box that was meant for 15 beers. The box had dividers within it which meant that he was delivered a box with 5 empty holes - it looked awful! Beer Hawk - if you offer a pack of 10 beers then please deliver them in a box that fits!”

“Ordered online, got a phone call after about 2 hours explaining one of my beer choices was not in stock so I asked them to put something similar in. had notification of delivery and got beers a few days later (weekend in the way) cant fault the service..”

“great idea, interesting products and always nice to receive booze on your doorstep when you return from work One of my choices was not in stock which is always a tad irritating but good communication to explain and swift delivery once replacement agreed”

“Only had one order delivered so difficult to comment, delivery was on time although printing off and placing this in place where case was to be left appeared a complete waste of time as it was left on doorstep despite my instruction to leave behind side gate!, where I left the printed document!! Beers ordered very good, with good selection on offer., may use again but can get good offers in local area so we will see.”

“Hi, All was good and delivered in a timely fashion. I was happy with the delivery. My only suggestions would be: a) My order was a gift but the message was attached to the sales order. Maybe a separate paper message would be better. I ended up removing the message because I didn't want the recipient to see the sales order. The prices were removed but separating the message from the order details would be great; b) Some of the bottles were dusty. No big thing but it may be worth wiping the bottles when packing. As I say this is very minor. The above are only suggestions because I was happy with the order.”

“I have a specific event coming up shortly and a good selection of beers is essential. The £30 case of 15 beers appears too good to miss, so two cases ordered. Delivery was exceptional, but as yet cannot comment on the beers as they are currently in storage - - - but where else will you get 15 beers of quality at an average £2.00 per bottle/can?”

“First time I have used the gift voucher service and was a little disappointed with print out. Got £40 value but in middle of gift was a picture of a £10 voucher with small print underneath stating actual value. On opening recipient thought it was £10 until the actual value was pointed out to them”

“Product, service and shipping procedures very good. Didn't achieve that rating overall for me because of clumsy new customer procedure. Make sure you don't lose your introductory 10% discount by failing to backtrack from ordering procedure to a separate email.”

“Was very impressed with my order from the Beer Hawk. I ordered a German Beer Gift set from them (selection of German Beers), which came in a well package and well presented boxed. The selection in the box was good as well with a rather nice smoky beer included as well. Delivery was prompt and I was kept well informed of the progress of my delivery and when it would turn it. The only downside I can find is the price.... The price of some of the beer on the site is a little more expensive than you find elsewhere and some of the European sites that I have used are much cheaper (e.g. a bottle of the Belgium Beer Pawel Kwak is £2.99 per bottle where as on another European sites they were charging 1,99 euros - roughly £1.43 at current exchange rate). I would recommend to anyone using the Beer Hawk site, to make sure they spend over £50 to get the free delivery and this will make the price a little more competitive. Overall thou a very good site, very good service and would recommend them to anyone.”
