“I ordered a gift of a large bottle of beer in a gift box together with a case of Christmas ales. A day or two later I received an email saying that they had run out of gift boxes. They offered a choice of three ways of dealing with this: I opted for the order to go ahead with a partial refund. The next day I received notification that the order would be delivered during a mid-morning time slot. It arrived two hours early, when we were out. The beer was safely sitting on my doorstep, so no harm done, but it does show the attitude of the delivery company. When I opened the boxes I found I had a duplicate magnum and no Christmas case. I found the customer service line a bit unhelpful ( they said I'd received a 'callback' within 48 hours -- not much use on 22nd December). I then sent an email and received a helpful reply that promised to collect the extra bottle and to deliver the Christmas beers before Christmas. You know where this is going: I received timeslots for the collection and delivery; both came and went. I'm now short of beer on Christmas day :-( So, what are Beerhawk really like? Are they a decent company let down by errors in their warehouse and an abominable logistics firm, of are they just poor? I'm afraid I'm never going to find out now.”

“Great selection of beers, gift packs, glasses to choose from. Delivery charge is waived if you buy over £50 (which is easy to do if you're getting stock in for a party or event). Even if you don't do that the delivery charge isn't too high.”

“Bought this for my husband this Christmas and he was the envy of all his mates - plus wife points for me then! He really enjoyed opening a new window to a drink every morning which he'd enjoy that evening (after necessary refrigeration if required of course!). Yes this isn't a cheap advent calendar but it's well worth it and my Husband has really enjoyed experiencing the different variety of ales and beers in the run up to Christmas. Thanks Beer Hawk!”

“Initial delivery didn't arrive. I E-Mailed and was told to give it another 48 hours. Still nothing. I phoned and was told you would chase the courier and E-Mail me the result (this was Friday pm, a week after the initial delivery had been due). E-Mail arrived on Monday morning saying a 2nd delivery had been sent. It arrived on Weds. Courier company not great. Lady who I spoke to, very helpful.”

“Great, fast service. Some lovely beers in my pack, although an over-representation of middle of the road Welsh ales, for some reason. All good, but I wouldn't particularly hunt them out, IYSWIM.”

“The craft beer calendar arrived on the scheduled date. So far, all the beers included have been very interesting and many of them were ones we had not yet tried or heard of (which, for homebrewers and craft beer lovers, is a treat!). Would recommend and definitely repurchase.”
