“The review could have been better but we were shipped the wrong item (although very fast.) However, everyone was nice about helping us to get what we actually ordered.”

“Not so happy - i ordered dog tags and they were $5.39 a dozen. They came in bags from Oriental Trading which I could have gotten for $3.99. It was not a good idea to make it so obvious where they came from. I would have never known. I will know now!!”

Dear L. S. In you purchase from us were also 19 other items. 19 very unique products we imported from Israel, and that a company like Oriental Trading would never carry. We sell Oriental trading items in order to survive in business, and that is very hard in the very specific and very small market we are dedicated to. We sell their items at the same pricing they do (we get the items with a wholesale discount), and there are lots of them. Sometimes they change their price (up or down) and there might be some price discrepancies. The specific item is actually $4.99 on their website, so the difference is only $0.40 per bag. I checked on Oriental's site what they would charge you for shipping for the quantity of bags you ordered - it is $13.99! Your order from us had free shipping and a $50 coupon included! You placed your order on Wednesday April 4, after shipping hours, and have received it in Texas (free shipping) on Tuesday the 10th at noon! Is 3 stars out of 5 really what you think of us? “Easy to navigate website. Many Judaic items in one place. The problem I have is the high cost of shipping. The coupon should at least cover the shipping.”

Thank you for your review. We do offer various shipping options - even overnight. Regarding our pricing - I agree that some of the items are costly - mainly bulky and heavier items we import from Israel. We do keep inventory of a huge selection of items, and that is very costly too. As you probably know - the tuition in your school (CCJDS) is $18,100 for Kindergarten. I am sure a budget of $100 per class per year could be possible :) Shabbat Shalom

“I had to kick myself when I received my purchase because the cups that I had purchased came with the Oriental Trading Company labels on them which let me know I could've saved money by purchasing those from Oriental Trading Company directly. The plates that I purchased were not from OTC and I did not see them anywhere else. This is an error on my part, but it did make my purchase less satisfactory. The least you could've done was remove the labels and place your own on the package. It's about branding, so I thank you for the future I will go directly to OTC first and then may go to you for things they do not offer.”

With all due respect - I don't understand why our company should be limited from selling items from OTC. We sell anything that can help a Jewish educator with their curriculum! We sell OTC products at the same prices OTC does. Your claim is like complaining to JC Penny or Macy's that they are selling "Levi's" jeans or "Tupperware" plastic containers. You found this item on our site because you were looking for Passover Seder items on a Jewish site. Plastic wine cups are not a "Jewish" item but they are used in a Seder. It is also a great project item to be decorated by children. That is why we sell them. If that fact caused you to kick yourself - I can't really help you, but offer to return them for a full refund. For the future - Please note that there are many items on our site that you could get elsewhere, and I encourage you to do so - so you don't have to spend money on a "Jewish" site for items you can get them somewhere else. “The aleph bet rubik's cubes and aleph bet bead bracelet kits were a hit with the children. They were disappointed in the gelt -- fewer coins in a bag this year. And I was disappointed in the quality of the colored wooden dreidels. I expected some of the dreidels, as per your disclaimer, to have bad lettering but not so many.”

“The order came quickly and was packed well. We ordered some plain tzedakah containers to decorate and some wooden menorahs to decorate. These are the menorahs. https://www.tjssc.com/build-your-own-upright-menorah-project-pack-of-10/ Also ordered decorative supplies for the crafts, including glitter glue and wood markers. All arrived intact and the materials are very good. Here's why my review is only 3 stars: the menorah kit included three pieces- a base, a top, and candle holders. The base and top were VERY hard to put together. The kit included very tiny pieces of sandpaper to sand down the top so it would fit into the base. This is really poor design and made the whole process frustrating! I used these for a very busy event, so it really would have been nice to have pieces that fit together without much time and effort. Finally, it's not explained well that the candle holders are separate and need to be glued on, which certainly added yet another step to the arduous process. The kids and families did love the materials and the decorative supplies I provided, but they could have been a lot easier to assemble.”

I am sorry you were frustrated with the item. I will instruct the manufacturer to make the slit in the base a bit larger, so it will go in easier. Regarding the metal bases - Even tough it was mentioned in the description and is clearly visible in the image of the parts of the Menorah, that the metal candle bases are not glued on, I have now added a sentence making it even clearer. It is the whole idea of an arts & craft item.

“My issue is not with your products. It is with your website. It is unwieldy and not user friendly. When I called for help I was told that I needed to work with the website.
