Walklin-B64101-Cancellation-BRI Husband, Ordered a Kitchen from this company on the 29th July and looking at their reviews on quite a few sites which is poor in my eyes got my husband to cancel the order 2 days later. He has emailed them they state in company wording they will refund the deposit within 14 days and still no refund his Solicitor will start proceedings next week to recover the £600 with costs and interest, why oh why does this company act in such a way customer service department really needs to sort this out as this is going to cost you in the long run. After visiting Next Home I arranged for a designer to come to my property to design/quote for a new kitchen. Paul Fry arrived seemed very good original price quoted above our budget then he lowered the quote! However pushed for a deposit as the 'sale' was due to finish; which we did not do - thank god. On the following Monday a different company called (we had not been in touch with any other company) sister company of betta living but the trade side & they were confident they could reduce the quote by half however they needed to send their designer out to us. They would not answer why this had to be duplicated!! I am under the impression that's Betta Living has fraudulently sold my details onto another company. I have phoned & emailed Paul Fry unfortunately he has not responded or picked up his calls ....... disgusting way to treat a potential customer that was about to spend £9,000 On a kitchen!!

This has to be the worse company I have dealt with. I so wish we purchased our fitted bedroom furniture from another company. Everything from the customer service in store, many calls to head office, the fitting and installation not to mention Chris's (Installation Manager) lack of empathy and knowledge of how to deal with a dissatisfied customer, the whole experience has been a nightmare. If you seek good customer service with quality products, I strongly suggest you shop elsewhere!!

This is one of the worst companies I have dealt with. The sales team is misleading in their expectations of what's required for you and once you've paid and there are mistakes to be fixed, it's easier to get an audience with the queen. Awful at following up, book appointments and fitters don't show up. Especially for the price this is not worth it at all

Surveyor came out a week ago and advised chosen door does not exist and design is impossible to supply and install. Sales office in Bromborough contacted that day so are fully aware, but not one person has contacted me to apologise or offer explanation. More importantly, Betta Living still keeping hold of my deposit. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

This is my 4th review on here relating to a very poor quality surface in kitchen - lots of chips on it (b41332). Each time, I am told someone will contact me shortly and guess what no one has contacted me. I do appreciate Lesley (customer services) the work you are doing but if no one calls me this reflects badly on you. If you are going to tell me that someone is going to contact me please check they have/ensure they do. I await a call.

Once you've parted with your money. Get ready for the circus to begin. You'll get to see every type of trick and deal with a real bunch of clowns. you'll wish you never stepped foot in their showroom.... they are an after sales nightmare. Took me 18 months to deal with 1 sale. Still not right. I weighed up cost and decided to give up on them... If you have parted with your cash I feel for you ..

Totally unimpressed completely with this so called company and the finance they offer. Don't be fooled like we were, go elsewhere for your finance if you do decide to go with this company....mind you reading these reviews (which unfortunately weren't on when we bought) you will probably go elsewhere. We've been stung and got no where despite numerous calls, legal advice and threats of small claims. Then to be stung again when we finally pay the loan off (bearing in mind we had the cash to pay for it in the first place) to find the loan goes up daily with an extra 30 days interest added for paying it off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If the so called customer service linked to this site is an actual person, check your records my job number was 41476, and you ring me you have my home number and mobile, but don't suggest I speak to the Regional Manager because he hasn't even had the courtesy to reply to our calls and letters.

Having complained bitterly last week about the fitter not turning up and being assured after many phone calls that he would arrive this week...Guess what...no fitter and yet again no phone calls to let us know what is happening. Customer services in the last review replied that Lee would discuss the fitting with us....wrong. Yet again I have had to phone and phone to see what is going on. Now it has been decided that Wednedsay 5th August is the fitting day , not sorted by Lee. We will see..I will probably be sitting here net year with a bathroom suite being stored in the garage If you use this firm get a fixed date. They do not tell you that is only and estimate and read the small print. Not a reliable set of people. I am now dreading the fitting of it. I do not need the stress

I had my kitchen units fitted in by Betta Living, but after a few weeks I noticed that the cabinets underneath the sink were damaged. So we complained to Betta Living and insisted on them to come have a look but they said no. They also told us it would charge £75 for them to come and take a look even though we had 15 years guarantee. Apart from that, the costumer service was appalling and the manager was very rude and absurd.

Very quick to book your consultation , get you to sign a deal and take your money , however a totally different matter when it comes to after care service , I have never had such poor customer service from any other company I have ever dealt with before, absolutely appalling

I have a kitchen supplied by Betta Living. The customer service level is worst than anyone I have come across (well, perhaps compatible to the cowboy builder who took my money and ran away without a trace!). They sent me many wrong stuff and often I have to repeat my story again and again every time I contacted them. I was asked to send them photos of one of the larder they provided as they did not know what I was supposed to have when I asked for its details (I did not know it either, trusting the 'supplier knows the products better than me!). At the end, the larder shelves got to be removed and replaced by normal shelves and they agreed for a refund. More than a month on, nobody bother to book for a collection of the unused larder shelves and neither a cheque issued. I called the customer services many times and even said I would go to court to get my refund back. A gentleman promised a cheque was on the way 3 weeks ago... I have just called them back and the one received the call (same number) did not know anything about the cheque. He again promised someone would call me back, again. Please stay away from this company. They are extremely bad. I do not recommend it at all.

Had a bedroom wardrobe fitted at the cost of 6k Very nice indeed! But what a farce. They never ever removed the old rubbish Such a tangled farce! Pay for this pay for that pay the other Never ever again

Having just visited one of your stores with money in my pocket to purchase several items I was flabbergasted with the reply to my questions. 1, can I buy bedroom furniture direct as I have a fitter already? I was told NO, "we only sell via a home visit and our fitting service" Ok then...... 2, how much approx would these items cost with fitting etc?. "we couldn't give a price instore, you would have to make an appointment with one of our estimators to visit your home" It appears that Betta Living dont sell bedrooms, or kitchens, just the oppurtunity to have a total unwanted and uneeded stranger in your home for who knows how long selling you something you probably never wanted or needed in the first place. Betta Living must make that much profit from thier installers that they are quite happy to turn cash sales away in store. I would certainly never buy into having to be forced to have a person in my home just to get an idea of costs. Betta Livings directors were most likely double glazing salesmen in the 70's and 80's by this outdated mode of marketing. good luck in the future, I for one would never dream of using your services and would certainly never recomend you.!!!

We've had a kitchen fitted last year and over the course of the year we noticed a few chips on the work surface - when we rang up to complain, I was told that it must have been my fault. If it had been one chip, I would understand but there are several and I as I have never done this before in my life (I am 40 now), I would say that it is very very unlikely I or my wife have done 7 or 8 this in just 1 year. The account number is b41332 if anyone would like to rectify this and recognise that this work surface has not been made to the standard it should have been. A couple of other minor problems -salesman told us that we would not need to have kitchen plastered after they took away old one. The plasterer we had said this was very strange and made some areas very awkward to plaster and should have been done in between. Salesman also never told me the APR rate. Thankfully, that was not a problem as we paid off straight away.

After my mam had her upstairs bathroom fitted less than 6 months ago paying over £6000 for a top quality bathroom. There has been nothing but problems, leaking through to the downstairs kitchen areas ruining the wallpaper and furniture and causing dangerous fungus growth in the kitchen which has been reported by environmental health but still NOT rectified by betta living leaving us without use of the bathroom for over two weeks. Do not recommend them at all very poor customer service, will be taking this further. When informing beta living of this numerous times by email and phone calls they have ignored messages not giving us a date to come and fix these problems.
