“This is the first fitness tracker I have invested in. I love the sleep tracking and the HRV has been extremely helpful so far in guiding me on when to continue working out and when to back off on my fitness regimen. If you join the Facebook group the customer service is astounding. The one issue I have had since buying my biostrap was resolved within a few hours on an evening after customer service hours were over. Great job!!! I would definitely recommend it.”
“I’ve had my biostrap a few weeks and have gotten good information from it, my chief complaint is the band and especially the inability to reconnect the device to the phone app if you are not near charger. This happens ( disconnecting from app) for no apparent reason, I’ve had it happen with phone at arms length. If these two issues could be resolved I’d have no complaint. Thank you”
“The device is absolutely awesome - Both my wife and I wear this at night for the very thorough sleep feedback and we wear our apple watches during the day for other feedback. The biostrap provides accurate and vital information at night regarding HR, HRV, SPO2 and RESP. The only complaint we have is with the standard wrist strap that comes with the BioStrap device. It is Extremely difficult to connect and stay on at night. That being said, they now have an improved wrist strap available that is easier to connect and stay on at night and more comfortable. Its a bit pricy at $30 but well worth it for the ease and comfort of putting it on and wearing it all night.”
“Nice look to Spo2 and other body parameters. Hope next edition will track vo2max too, to help me more with workouts. Wristband
Support is amazing: always nice and informative. They answered to many of my questions (including during a weekend when I needed help to onboard on the Android app) and replaced the wristband when problems turned to be blocking. Kudos, but keep going.”
“After a bad first experience of a week or two I abandoned use for a couple of months. I began using it again about two months ago. With a couple of firmware updates and a bit of a learning curve I am pretty happy with the device. Scope of measurements are good and the info is practical and very useful. I've used Whoop2 and Nokia watch and Fitbit and Fit Gear. I think this one is tops. the new band is much better but still awkward.”
“I’ve used Fitbit and other fitness trackers before, but the BIOSTRAP and SHOEPOD are the best by far. The only complaint I have is the amount of time it takes to sync the data to the phone app. This does seem to be improved with the last firmware update, but can still take quite a bit of time.”
“I’m a professional in the field of exercise science and nutrition applied to Age Management Medicine and Biostrap is seriously dedicated to provide health info with no need for fancy stuff. Good battery life, intuitive app and an amazing capacity to “learn” exercises that later will automatically detect. It forces you to focus on having good form, which is already a great help! The team behind seems to be really determined to dig deep into health data. And the connectivity with other devices tells you they are here to help and not trying to step on other great companies’ feet. I’m a satisfied professional customer.”
“Overall I like the Bio strap. The application provides a lot of data. I only have 2 not positive things to note. For no display the battery life short. And second, often i takes some time for the Biostrap to talk with the app when starting a workout. Often I have to rescan for bluetooth connections to find the Biostrap before my workout recording would start. I know it is not my phone because my bluetooth earbuds and watch remain connected to the phone the whole time.”
“I am really getting into the raw data it provides. I was using a Fitbit which has lots of cute gooey screens but lacks the raw data I need. The unit can be a bit finicky while exercising but the reason I got it was for the other data. I have a Garmin for the bicycle data. I wish it had better battery life needs charging every two days but thats really not a huge deal.”
“Like the product but you really, really need to redesign strap which is cheap and not secure. I have already lost one and had to replace it and almost lost the replacement. Please design a more secure strap and make it available soon.”
Hi, Frank! I'm sorry to hear you aren't a fan of the straps. We have other options available as well available on site: [Strap 2.0](https://shop.biostrap.com/collections/accessories/products/strap2-0)
“With the in-depth SPO2 , HRV, and HR data coupled with Sleep data analysis a complete overview of my senior mother's (89) health is now possible.
Ongoing feature enhancements are unparalleled, and breaking new barriers of functionality.(Remote monitoring, Auto Sleep, HRV & Sleep Analysis)
The only item lacking was/is connectivity under Android (Google Nexus 7-old product) requiring the manual recycling of Bluetooth to restore.”
