I was Bloonaway that the order arrived on Monday after the 21st Birthday Party that had already taken place on Saturday. We ordered them in time and they were supposed to arrive on the 15th. Even if they had arrived on the date of the party the 16th, that would have been fine. You said they are dispatched one day before the date we requested on an email trail. But they still did not turn up! I now have two useless balloons that are no longer required. Very underwhelmed by your service and the ability to contact anyone if it is not a weekday is shocking. Our Barn looked fantastic and your balloons would have had a real presence with over 130 guests most of which have yet to hot this Birthday milestone. Opportunity of new customers most definitely missed and all you delivered to us was a feeling of utter disappointment.

Hi Laura, I’m sorry to hear that your balloons arrived later than you expected. We point out clearly on our website (and you must click to agree on a pop up before checking out) that if you select a non-guaranteed delivery service, delivery can take between 1 and 3 working days or more, and it’s not tracked. It is also outlined at length on your order confirmation where we offer you the choice of upgrading to a tracked delivery which we guarantee will arrive on the date. It’s a shame that you did not contact us on the 15th (Friday). We could have sent new balloons on a tracked service to arrive on Saturday if you wished. Our sales offices are closed on Saturday because we primarily ship balloons and there is no dispatch on Saturdays. I see that you called 3 times between 7am and 8am when, unfortunately, there were not even balloon staff in our warehouse preparing for some Saturday events to answer your call. If you ever have something to contact us about, there is also the possibility of sending an email, a contact form or chatting on our website (or leaving an offline chat message if the chat is closed). We didn’t hear from you until you left this review yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 19th June). I agree, it’s a shame that the party was missing our lovely balloons. 21 is a birthday that we help 100’s of people in the UK celebrate, and it’s a pity your son’s was not one of them, even though you had planned otherwise. Ordered a baby balloon which deflated after 2 hours and so then ordered the same balloon and it deflated after 3/4 hours, very bad quality balloons, not worth the price at all!

Hi Maaria, As I explained to you in our conversations by email and on the phone, if a balloon arrives deflated we have a very good money back guarantee. In your first email to us it was clear that the balloon had arrived in perfect condition before 10am on Friday, but 6 hours later you found it deflated. Here are the steps we take to ensure you receive a perfect balloon: 1. We only use top quality, professional materials. 2. Our staff are professional and well trained and use precision equipment to inflate your balloons. 3. Once your balloons have been created, they are left to rest for at least 2 hours. This will allow us to detect any micro-faults that only become apparent after some moments and are not visible upon the initial inflation of the balloon. 4. We pack them in double wall cardboard boxes using a variety of sizes to ensure the most secure space for the balloons and the least movement possible inside the box. Some types of balloons are also protected with tissue paper. 5. The boxes are all sealed and marked as fragile. If after all this your balloon arrives deflated (quite rare) we will usually offer you a refund, credit or replacement if still relevant. (Each case is determined separately) However, if the balloon arrives in tact we can be certain that it has withstood the pre-packing test period and travelled up and down the country over night safely. You see, we can’t know what happens to our balloons in any given environment or how it is handled once out of the packaging and therefore our guarantee wouldn't cover this. That being said, we offered to create a new balloon and hand deliver it on Sunday morning for a nominal fee. If that balloon also went down a few hours later, this gives me cause to believe that either someone is mishandling the balloon (banging it around on surfaces or hitting lights) or there is some chemical substance present, such as plaster dust, which is acidic and can pop a balloon. We send out dozens of this type of balloon every day and I'm proud to say that we have a very high rate of customer satisfaction. I'm sorry that your experience was anything less than excellent. Invoice details inaccurate. Clear delivery date on invoice which was not met. Balloon was not delivered in stated date, paperwork should clearly state 3 working days rather than specific date. 6 days later get well soon balloon is no longer relevant. I only ordered as said would be delivered certain date! Waste of time and money

I'm sorry your balloon delivery was so badly delayed over this weekend with the 2 Easter bank holidays. When selecting the Royal Mail Free delivery option you are asked to agree to a notice which points out that this service does not guarantee delivery the next day and may take up to 3 working days. As it turned out this was 5 days because of the additional 2 non-working days this week. 93% of our Royal Mail deliveries arrive the next day. We always dispatch one working day in advance and recommend that you choose DPD when the date is important. Although we cannot issue a refund and a replacement balloon is redundant now, we hope you enjoy the coupon we sent you. All the best. Tilly

Absolutely rubbish, chose a delivery date of the 27th of sep and it never arrived, it is 4pm on the 28th now and still no sign of it, definitely won't b using them again.

Dear Heather, As I mentioned earlier today by email, the parcel was dispatched on the 26th September via Royal Mail 1st Class as you selected in the checkout. We offer this service for free. Royal Mail aim to deliver all post the next working day but it is not a guaranteed service. We also offer a courier option (DPD) for a minimal extra charge for those who want the delivery date to be guaranteed. I'm afraid that once we have dispatched the item the delivery is out of our control. About 99% of deliveries arrive on the requested day. I do hope the parcel arrives soon. Tilly
