We placed a large order of congratulatory helium balloons (19) to be sent out to different offices to be delivered on the same day. Service could have been much better and at times getting hold of anyone was difficult. Emails and phone calls were not responded to quickly and it felt like I had to do the chasing for updates - but when I did get to speak to them Izzy and Tilly were friendly and polite. The original agreed delivery date then had to be pushed back by a couple of days, I believe because there weren't enough balloons/boxes (despite pre-ordering a max. number weeks in advance) which was disappointing. That said in the end all orders were received on the revised date they were supposed, with the correct cards included to and the product was good.

Hi Mark, I apologise for any delay in communications in the process of organising this order. Our team were surprised that you left this negative review; Your order of 16 single balloons, boxed for 16 individuals across 8 offices, individually named, some with cards and some without, spanned an email conversation with 3 members of your firm across 7 weeks. For a small order, it had an extraordinary amount of logistics to organise and the dates, quantities and final addresses became apparent in small increments over that time. When the final dispatch week arrived, we had to deal with a delayed shipment from one of our suppliers to ensure all the items were identical. You were very obliging about pushing back the date to the end of the week and contacted those offices to be aware of the change. Thank you, and my apologies for this inconvenience. However, in all other aspects we went above and beyond to ensure that your order was fulfilled perfectly and accurately. We were not aware of any missed calls or delayed responses to you; we have a pretty fast response time to emails and well-manned phones during office hours. I hope you find another company who will be able to satisfy your requirements in the future, seeing as you did not enjoy your customer experience here. I wish you all the best.

Wondeful,helpful staff. GREAT products. Only marred by the fact that I had paid for the balloons to have my parent's NAME on them. Golden hearts, for a Golden Anniversary. No names. Shame really.

The balloon was absolutely fine, although £23 for a balloon is expensive. I ordered it for an anniversary but then it got stuck with the courier and arrived several days late. No apology or compensation from Bloonaway.

Hi Anna, I'm sorry to hear that your balloon delivery was delayed. When you select the Free Delivery Option we point out to you that the balloon is dispatched one working day before your preferred delivery date and 96% are delivered the next day. However, they may take up to 3 working days to arrive. You are asked to agree to this on a pop-up before you complete your purchase. (There was an extra day over this bank holiday weekend) We don't track Free Delivery orders, but I can see that this was in fact delivered on the 3rd working day. If you purchase guaranteed delivery (currently priced at £3.95) we will track your delivery and make you aware of any delays. We will also provide you with the appropriate compensation if your order is not delivered on time. We always recommend this option for special occasions and milestones, and leave the free delivery option for wishes such as 'get well' or new baby balloons, where a delay will not miss the whole event. If you have a query regarding the whereabouts of your parcel, or what to do if it hasn't arrived, you can always contact us by phone, email or web-form and we will help you as best we can. Receipient was very happy although I ordered a balloon that was never in stock apparently which was frustrating. Otherwise good service.

Hi Emma, Thanks for leaving a review. A wildly popular Mother's Day balloon had a slight stock discrepancy and we contacted those affected to offer a replacement or refund within a short time of the order being placed. I'm happy the recipient enjoyed the lovely alternative. Kind regards, Tilly

Additional star balloons were not fully inflated even although delivered the next day. Main balloon was lovely

Hi Kathleen, I'm so sorry to hear that the balloons arrived in anything less than perfect condition. We truly care about the safe arrival of each and every balloon that leaves our warehouse and take every care that it should reach the recipient intact...We use the best quality balloons, inflate with precision equipment, have a 'resting' period of several hours to detect micro faults, and package in strong double wall boxes for safe transit. Unfortunately, sometimes a tiny fault is not detectable until the air has escaped for over 12 hours or more or the balloon gets damaged in transit. In such cases we will gladly replace your balloons or compensate you if we are contacted upon receipt of the damaged/faulty balloons. Kind regards, Tilly

We were really pleased with our order once it arrived, however after experiencing issues with the supplier and the delivery it made for a challenging process getting them for our event. Baloonaway's customer service was great though, and they helped to resolve the issues quickly.

Dear Zam, I'm sorry that you found our balloons expensive. We are usually considered competitively priced... Considering you were able to send a lovely balloon from the comfort of your home in Bradford to your niece in Oldham, with free delivery and all the embellishments of the packaging and greeting card for just £11.99. I do hope she enjoyed it very much.

Dear Paula, Sorry to hear that your order didn't arrive on your requested day. On the checkout you had selected a non guaranteed service. We have a very clear disclaimer that you must agree to before completing payment. We offer this Royal Mail 24 service for free. Royal Mail aim to deliver all parcels the next working day but it is not a guaranteed service. We also offer a courier option (DPD) for an extra charge for those who want the delivery date to be guaranteed. They are very reliable and we recommend this for deliveries where the date is important such as birthdays and parties.
