Hello Tiffany, We are sorry to see you were let down by our courier service. I have checked your order and can see that both your parcels left us in plenty of time to get to you. One of your parcels arrived on time but the other was delayed and arrived the next morning. I cannot see an email from you regarding this and so on this occasion we have been unable to help get this corrected. Kind regards Tilly

The order stated balloons would be delivered by a certain date and they were not, most disappointing. By putting expected delivery date is very misleading. One of the balloons was deflated on arrival. I would not use you again.

Hello Yash, We were disappointed to read your review. I have checked your order and see that you chose the free Royal Mail delivery, unfortunately as this is a free service it is not guaranteed nor tracked as stated on our T&C's. For guaranteed service we recommend our next day service. I note one of your balloons was deflated and of course your balloon should not have arrived in this condition. Unfortunately, sometimes a tiny fault is not detectable until the air has escaped for over 12 hours or more or the balloon gets damaged in transit. We always advise our customers to check the balloons upon arrival to see if they are all in perfect condition and to contact us immediately so we can rectify the issue. I cannot see an email from you and so on this occasion we were unable to make this right. All the best Tilly

I requested delivery for Monday and it turned up on Saturday while I was in hospital with my son. Also few days in and the balloons are almost already deflated. Not impressed. Thank you. Will not order again... Catherine

Hello Catherine, We are sorry to read your review. Unfortunately our Monday deliveries are collected from us on a Friday evening and on the very odd occasion our couriers escalate deliveries to help them with backlog due to the current situations we are finding ourselves in and parcels get delivered earlier than expected. Foil balloons last up to a week and on some occasions a while longer. Kind regards Tilly

One ballon arrived much under deflated compared the other (which was excellent) so they looked aged as a pair immediately.

Disappointed that the jar of sweets I ordered alongside the balloons did not arrive to celebrate my son's exam results. I had to make a complaint and the sweets arrived at a later date. I probably won't use Bloonaway again.

One balloon was quite deflated. I was told this was because they had been inflated 24 hours before delivery. However it took 3 days for the second balloon to reach the deflated level of the first.

What I had ordered was not available but I was told less than 24 hours before delivery was due. Helpful phone call followed (although the number I was given was not answered and I had to revert initially to email), but then although the revised order was delivered on time it was not exactly what I had requested.

Got an email 24 hours before delivery asking if a change of colour was ok, clearly this needed an answer promptly to get the balloon out on time so a call would have been better. Balloon not delivered on the day request. Emailed seeking confirmation it would arrive the next day or asking for a refund. No reply, balloon then turns up 4 days later than originally requested (and this was a birthday gift so pretty important it arrived on time). Still no reply to date to my customer service email. Balloons were good quality, which is why I have given 2 stars but customer service was poor.

I found it quite difficult to order in the first instance, eventually managed the next day, 2 weeks before I needed the balloon. Sadly it arrived a day late, I had ordered for Friday 29th May & it didn’t arrive until the Saturday .

That's not good to hear Hannah, can you please send us your order details on email and we will look into how this happened - Royal Mail have sometimes been day late recently due to the climate but that is really late and such a shame :(

Despite knowing that deliveries are likely to be delayed, item wasn't posted any earlier and therefore balloon arrived AFTER our occassion. No response to refund request!!! They maybe Bloonaway but we were Deflated!!!

Hello Peter, we are disappointed to get this 2* rating from you for the delivery aspect of your order. As stated on our homepage, on the delivery page and again at checkout stage - we have very limited control over this at the best of times, and especially in the unfortunate current Covid 19 climate. What we can and do is guarantee our part of the process which is when we dispatch it, and any tracking associated with that which helps in the case of delays out of our control. We are also very clear on the fact that we dispatch one day prior to your selected delivery date. We cannot take it into our own hands to send orders out earlier, as although this may be what some customers would like, other customers may have already allowed for this and ordered for earlier delivery in which case their balloon would arrive too early and could perhaps ruin a lovely surprise. If a customer does contact us and request an earlier delivery dispatch based on the climate we always do our best to accommodate it, but you did not do this as I have checked all email records. Customer reviews are very important to small businesses and we are proud of the hard work and energy our small business and team put into each order daily, so it is a little disheartening to get negative reviews for things out of our control. Please always think about this when you are reviewing a small business and thank you again for choosing us in the first place for your gift.

The ballon arrived three days late for the birthday , I know post has been delayed due to the virus but it was only dispatched the day before it was due to be delivered , I would have expected the company to have compensated by posting earlier. Very disappointing for the recipient.

Should be more clear on purchase about postage dates ect as most people want it on a specific date. Mine arrived five days after the event which was no good Packaging was good Balloon had a line going through the writing obviously manufacture error but for the money I was expecting a more expensive balloon

Having paid over £10 for a Saturday delivery by DPD, I was very disappointed to receive an email from them advising the delivery had been delayed. Consequently the balloon did not arrive on the person's birthday. I appreciate the current difficulties but very disappointed that despite the cost, the delivery did not happen on requested date

I was disappointed that one on the three balloons was starting to go down, it also arrived late and I had paid extra to get the balloons delivered on time. This is a shame because they were for my granddaughters 1st birthday. Also it’s probably going to be her only birthday., as on the 10th March she was diagnosed with a rare metabolic disease called Krabbe. I had asked all my friends work colleagues and family to send cards and balloons to help celebrate especially as no family or friends were allowed to visit due to covid .

The balloons arrived on time but the main 18th balloon was deflated. I have contacted the company and have received a partial refund. I appreciate we are all in a difficult situation at the moment but this was the only way I could make my son’s 18th a bit different in lockdown and I was upset and disappointed.
