The size chart is the manufacturer's recommended size chart and it is accurate for the vast majority of our customers. However, like any garment, there are exceptions such as yourself. Everyone is made differently so it's difficult to have one product that is 100% accurate for everyone. Our returns policy allows our customers to try on the product for fit, comfort, and effectiveness. We will definitely take this into consideration and work to improve our sizing guides to make it easier for our customers to select the right size on their first order. “We purchased a hinged joint in the same size as another McDaniel Knee Brace, upon arrival it wasn't the correct fit. When I contacted the company they were very prompt with their reply and very helpful with advice on which brace and size to go with. Thank you”
