“I am impressed with the hardware and how easily the installation process was. Being app controlled it is really easy to use. Had a minor issue with the app locking on my phone during installation but this was sorted by the technical team within hours.
I have been even more impressed with the level of customer service, Outstanding.
The only thing that I find slightly annoying is the size of arming and disarming button on the app. More so in the morning when you wake blurry eyed, sleepy and cant find my glasses. A bigger button would be great.
I have recommended the alarm system to a family member.

“Overall quiet satisfied with product, easy fitting but found the backplate for the hub a little flimsy, you really do need a perfectly smooth wall to get it to make proper contact when fitting the hub, unfortunately I didn’t, but managed to get around this by packing out where needed,
Small glitch with the Siren not coming online but the TECH boy’s sorted this out quickly.”

“Brought this after seeing a youtube video from Artisan Electricians as I my current wired system was out dated and unsupported and after completing research Boundary was one of few company who provided up front pricing.
Packaged arrived within two days of placing order. I will say it was well packaged and presented in an order to of which package to start with first as per the manufacturer's set up process i.e. Hub>Sensors>Siren, which I found extremely helpful.
Very straightforward to set up the alarm system installation via the boundary App once I created an account and set up the hub. Like any self install system I did come across a couple of gremlins, which the customer care service were second to none in response within business hours. No hesitation on replying back to you and the team provided the relevant information based on the email that was sent which was well written.
The customer support are very knowledgeable and very keen to get you up and running, even go so far to add additional messages to make sure everything is running smoothly in support of the help topics.
It's also nice to know that this company are uk based and have taken feedback positively to further the systems usability.
One area that Boundary should be more clear on is that a monthly plan is really required if you are intending to use more that the 2 users and 2 sensors, which in my case I had no choice but the use the subscription service, which I didn't mind paying the fee of £8 a month or £96 for the year.
I Would not hesitate to recommend this smart alarm system as I feel I have more control over how I use the system as I'm informed of any outage or suspect activity via mobile device. Plus the prices are advertised not like some other national alarm companies who want to provide you with a quote, which for me is a big no no.

From my designing of my system using the BOUNDARY web site to takeing delivery 3 days.Packaging is excellent.
Other than a few technical questions during setting up of alarm(which were answered very promptly) and a slight glitch when selecting the number of sensors at order stage(appears to add 2 more than required)which is easily dealt with prior to placing order,impressed is the word.

I was using traditional alarm system(Famous one in UK with Guard Service) previously which took huge chunk of money from my pocket and add fuel to that the product is not owned by me even though i have paid huge amount for past three years and used hardly 8 times. Since, the system is not smart. I am not able to play around with automation or Arm/Disarm functionality & always relay on manual arm/disarm or login to the app to arm/disarm it. “My system developed a fault with one of the sensors repeatedly going offline and tripping the alarm. I contacted the team at Boundary and they diagnosed an issue with the Z-wave connectivity between devices. I was sent a Z-wave extender in the post that seems to have sorted the issue.”
“Purchased the boundary system after initially learning of it's existence back in the kickstarter days, didn't buy it then but since it's release to the general public and word from boundary staff that Apple HomeKit will be supported later this year in 2021 I decided to buy it & I certainly do hope this will be the case with Apple HomeKit support.
Anyway, after the purchase I received the box with all this alarm kit in that I'd ordered. The whole experience of unpacking seems nicely thought out, all the parts are nicely packaged and look very well made. Instructions seem clear enough. So at the moment I can't comment on the working system but I'm very happy so far. :-) It's a nice piece of kit.”
