“I ordered from them in January. They sent the wrong order, asked me to send what they sent back to them and I would receive my order afterwards. I sent it back, heard nothing back so a week later I chased it up. This was the 14th of February. They said that instead of sending me what I ordered they would refund me. I said okay, on the 22nd of February the refund wasn't done so I chased up again. They said that I would get a refund. On the 1st of March I chased up again, because the refund was still not in my account. I used their chat service on their website, they ignored my messages and didn't answer me. Now I am having to dispute the charge with my bank because britannia rose are being so strange and shady. I do not think this is a legitimate company. I have never had an experience like this before and I wouldn't risk giving these people any money.”

“I am DISGUSTED in this company so far, just wish I had read these reviews first as I have experienced exactly the same lack of communication and poor customer service. THE REVIEWS ON THEIR WEBSITE ARE NOT ACCURATE and are very misleading! To be told 7-10 days and I’m now on day 13, still nothing no response to my email and no means of contacting for a refund. So I’m left out of pocket and have absolutely nothing to show for it.
Incredibly frustrating as I initially had checked to see if it even was in stock and had to chase up a order confirmation email and then now I’m still absolutely no where. If there were any issues with my order they have had plenty of opportunities to let me know and I would have been more understanding.
I feel like I’ve had to do all the communication and chase them up every step of the way!
* UPDATE I finally got through to someone on the live chat (which is only occasionally accessible) saying they cannot get hold of the fabric I ordered and would process a refund which nearly 2 weeks later still hasn’t arrived and I cannot get through to their live chat which I now currently can’t access on any browser or device within the 9-5 hours that the life chat is supposed to be active?!
In a cost of living crisis I have bills to pay and I have spent so much time chasing this up it’s ridiculous chasing this up so far sending emails with no response trying all the ways of contacting them. I am also still out of pocket. I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK AND TO BE DONE WITH IT.

Cannot get hold of anyone to chase curtains as it's now been over a month since order, despite website advertising 5 day delivery. I have ordered different samples which have been sent in about 6 times...i choose one of them for the living room 4 big windows , i was happy for the choice and happy to wait for it.. but in this area where i have just moved in nothing appears to work as it should because everything is manipulated, scammed and changed...(SW1 London by the way). After 10 days this is the answer:

We ordered your Teatro Ebony fabric for ORD9639457 and ORD1574424, however Clarke & Clarke has informed us this fabric has been discontinued.
If you wish, we would be happy to amend these orders to an alternative fabric, we will send you samples free of charge on any fabrics that take your interest.
OMG what a bad service! .. they know that the fabric is discontinued after 10 days and they took upfront 2.000 pounds!

“I actually think Britannia rose as designers / proprietors of fabric are great! The order turnaround takes a long time, but the majority of their stock is made to order, so that makes sense. I’m leaving the review for a different reason.
After purchasing a set of curtains (which were very nice curtains, mind you) I was prompted to leave a review on their website, and did so. I was then prompted to leave a second review on trust pilot. This was accompanied by a promise of a “free tote bag” along with my trust pilot review. After leaving the review, I never received a follow up email in regards to my free tote bag. After sending several emails, and making several unanswered calls enquiring as to where my free tote bag was, I gave up.
Several months later, I continue to receive the same email: “leave a review on trust pilot to receive your free tote bag!” The fact I, after leaving a review, periodically receive this same email, with such blatant false advertising is… well… unreservedly tacky.

Ordered fabric and paid express delivery ( 3/5 working days). A bit of a rip off to pay extra for quick delivery as it looks like it will take 10/14 days.
Very frustrating and tried to cancel but customer service advised l only had 24hrs to cancel.
Please avoid if you expect to receive your goods within the delivery time as stated by Britannia rose.”
“I didn't receive half my order from Britannia Rose. After several emails with the customer service (theres no phone number), they said they'd investigate and then promptly ignored all my emails. It's been three months waiting for my expensive cushion covers. I now have to try and recover the money from my credit card. I'm appalled at their customer service, and feel i have been a victim of a scam.”
“Failed to communicate that there was material supply issue. I had to contact them 3 times weeks into the order. Their site inducated that the status of the order was progressing, but it was not. Even when they said the material had turned up (and I only have their word on that) it still took weeks to deliver. Three and a half months in all for some very ordinary curtains. Meanwhile they've used our money to expand their production and advertised it to me! no discount, not offers, just "well you can cancel and we'll give you your money back" :(”
“I am writing this review before I receive my curtains, that is assuming they eventually turn up. I have been told my curtains were part ready three weeks ago and that they should be finished a week ago. I have sent three emails but have had no response. As you do not offer a telephone number this is the only communication available to a customer and so frustrating if you do not respond . I will wait another few days and should they arrive I will write another review on their quality then. However your customer service needs investigating and immediate steps for improvement taken.”
“Never ever again…. Placed order on 6th March informed 6-8wk dispatched, certainly not cheap. nothing not even a courteous email apologising for the delay. If I hadn’t of constantly chased them up via chat and email I wouldn’t have received any correspondence back. The chat person was exceptionally rude and unprofessional not great customer services at all.
Anyway 4mths and a day later curtains finally arrived.
Lovely material however the workmanship is diabolical where the width of material has been joined it’s so thick and unsightly, so they will remain open and for show.
No offer of a partial refund, just blamed it all on COVID.

“My overall experience has been terrible. We ordered the curtains in March expecting a 2-4 week delivery time as stated. Delivery was delayed again and again. Some delay is understandable at the moment but what was not ok was that the team never pro-actively contacted me, never communicated, it was always on me to chase them for updates, to discover yet another delay. Eventually we received our curtains after about 12 weeks (only because I finally lost patience and said I was going to try and get my money back from my bank for non delivery of goods) and they are "ok". The fabric is nice, they are nicely weighed at the bottom, but the join between the two pieces of fabric in the curtain is thick and clunky. I really would not recommend this company.”
