Not what was expected We checked into the cabin on May 24 and upon entering the cabin found a puddle of water on the floor then the refrigerator was leaking water as well. The WiFi and the main tv didn’t work and none of the tvs worked. The air conditioner stopped working and it got up to 83 degrees which made it unbearable my dad called the numbers and left messages with no response. This was a very expensive trip for things not to work.

Recently had the opportunity to be a guest at the Anand-ville on may 24th Thru 26th , upon our arrival we found the lower floore cabin doors unlocked, so before settling in we did a walk thru of the whole cabin to insure it was secure and no one was hiding in one of many rooms and closets , after we were assigned bedrooms and sleeping accommodations, I proceeded to check the bed I was assigned and found the sheets to be dirty and removed them from the bed to be washed along with towels, and remade the bed, I noticed several spots on the lower floore that had water standing , the bathroom in my bedroom , had some artical of clothing stuffed behind the toilet , I did not remove , but I told the host of my discovery, one bathroom on the second floor had no lighting available when you switched on the light , not sure if the bulbs were burned out , or larger electrical problem, on the main floore we found more water on the floore , it seemed to be comming from around the refrigerator, so we were constantly applying paper towels to absorb the water , we , had to go out and buy more paper towels and toilet paper as all the restrooms had half rolls or none at all, after several attempts we were never able to connect to the wifi as it never connected and the password was total no good , also tv on the main floore never worked we were unable to get a power source , and the tvs in the bedrooms would only show the checkout time and never connected , our Host for this weekend , tried numerous times to call the phone number he was given to report any problems and every call went directly to voice mail, and his calls were never answered, and finally after everything we had encountered, the air conditioner failed , and everyone spent most time outside as the cabin was to warm to sleep in , if you intend to rent this cabin please be sure and get a contact person to meet you there and do a walk through, and have a working contact number incase of emergencies, the housekeeping, left a lot to be done , as for me, I would not recommend, Broken Bow Adventures , Amanda Ville .

Experience was not good. My family and I stayed at the Hilltop Anand-villle 8 bedroom. The place had enough in for our party but the air conditioner was not working properly which left us sweating and the weather outside far better than the temperature of 82-83 degrees inside the cabin. I and others in our group experienced fleas or bedbugs all over our ankles and feet. The Internet connection did not work the entire time at the cabin and the lights to the cabin were out throughout the night . I have a fantastic times at Broken Bow this is not one of them. Completely disappointed.

Cabin was not the cleanest upon arrival, but after a quick sweep and washing all the bedding things were good. The property is amazing however the property management takes away any chance at any stars. Been checked over a month and still no damage deposit refund! Emails and calls have all been ignored. Terrible way to run a company. Our family left the property in a much cleaner state than how we found it at arrival. My recommendation if you rent as the property itself is beautiful....chalk damage deposit up as a loss and let these clowns see how they like getting s..t on!!!

The view was very nice and cabin was beautiful. Cleanliness was not there like somebody hadn’t been there in a while or cleaned before our stay; there was mold in the dishwasher, cobwebs and spiders all over the place, hot tub filter was full of hair and dead skin floating all in it. The WiFi wouldn’t work so none of the TVs could connect so there was no tv which isn’t a huge deal but was for the children. Tried to contact property owner but went straight to voicemail and never got a response when I sent a text. With better management of the place it would’ve been one of the best one I’ve stayed in but the neglect turned me off for future stays with this company.

We stayed at the Hilltop Lover’s Den to view the gorgeous solar eclipse. The area is beautiful surrounded by tall pines. The cabin was very clean. It was perfect for 6 of us. The kitchen was great - all appliances were new, clean and in good working order. The beds were comfortable- the bathrooms lovely with an incredibly large shower in the master bath. The beds and chairs were all made of beautifully hewn and glazed sturdy wood. The porches were swept clean and there were no bugs or cobwebs seen. The hot tub worked well and there was a lovely place to grill outside. It was delightful and homey. It was also only about 15 minutes from Broken Bow Lake which is absolutely stunning. We will definitely be back in the future.

The house is clearly neglected inside and outside. Our house had dead bugs, fleas, spiderweb, throughout the house. Shoes found under the bed with 2 inches of dust.stains on the mattress, dust on windows as well as the furniture outside, Grills were not clean. Fire pit had so many weeds around it you couldn't get to it. I will never come back or recommend .

Went ro Broken bow for our annual girls trip and Broken Bow Adventures managment should really take some pride in their property! When we arrived there was dust on everything outside all the chair amd rails, refrigerator smelled like spoiled milk and had something spilled inside of it. Trash bins where full oven upstairs was not in working order so we has to go down stairs to us the oven. Like stated in a prior review there where dead bugs in the bathrooms that we cleaned up, the property had not be cared for prior to our arrival so we had to do some clean just to comfortable. We sent an email and text as told to do with no response, we explained all the issues we found but heard nothing back. The next day we called and spoke with a very surly man who laughed about some of our complaints. While out they sent someone to cut the grass around the fire pit and other parts of the property and to gather the large amounts of trash from a previous renter! We are pretty sure on of the rooms had fleas in it! We paid alot of money for the rental just to be laughed at.

Dear management of Broken Bow adventures, As we have worked the check list off before we depart the cabin, I am even more upset with multiple things that this cabin promised and did not deliver. 1. Hot Tub has a yellow film that looks like urine, which obviously been sitting in there for many weeks. As being a hot tub owner myself, I know for a fact this is not clean and I would never let anyone step foot in a hot tub that looked so terrible. 2. We were not even able to enjoy the pond due to the fact there were hornets everywhere and 2 of my grandchildren got stung. I realize we are in nature, however I know you can spray for bugs to let it be more enjoyable for guest. Even to stay on the lower decking and fish. 3. The toilet in the first bedroom to the right was unbelievably loose. 4. Towels had brown spots on them. 5. Sheets had holes in them. 6. Spider webs all over the deck. And trash on the deck. 7. Dead bugs everywhere. 8. I found a cigarette on my bed. 9. Parking is unrealistic. 10. Vent in the bedroom rattled like a spray paint bottle. Impossible to sleep in without ear plugs. My point here is if you charge such a high price to stay in your cabins, the least you can do is make it a bit enjoyable for guest. We also called the number and told him we had complaints but he did not come out to help us or even seemed to care. We called within the time frame noted, 1 hour after arrival which is unrealistic! We will be coming back to broken bow because it was a beautiful lake with so many fun activities for family however we will not be staying here ever again. Neither will we be recommending it to anyone.

Beautiful facility in a great location! Very well set up with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. There were a few cleaning issues and could not use the TV in the living room. The grill was not usable. Overall a very good experience. We would definitely return!

This trip was off to a rocky start when there was a water crisis in Hochatown and several days in advance of our trip the cabin management reached out and said that our trip would not be refunded because the water crisis was “an act of God” outside of their control but as a “good gesture” the owner would let us reschedule our trip. This seemed highly unacceptable and really upsetting for a big group of us going for NYE. This left a bitter taste in our mouths and management was extremely difficult to get in touch with as we were trying to get a refund if they would not be able to supply the cabin during our planned trip. Thankfully the city was able to fix the water situation for the town a day in advance of our trip and we were able to avoid what seemed like really shady behavior from people we rented through. Once we arrived the rest of the trip was amazing. Beautiful cabin, sleeping arrangement were great for 6 families, and location was amazing. We would rent this cabin again assuming we don’t have to ever deal with the initial shady tactics of no refund and attempt to get us to reschedule when we were willing and able to go. I would add, the photos are deceiving. The fishing pond is not directly behind the house as indicated in the photos. Although the beds were clean, several of the sheets were stained and the comforters had a musty/old smell. The entire cabin could use new bedding.

Overall the cabin was comfy and easily accommodated our entire large family. We very much enjoyed our weekend getaway. Similar to other reviews we just had a few “cleanliness” complaints around things like dust / hair / trash / etc. I think for the price I would recommend the owners consider a deep clean of this cabin occasionally. As I’m sure given how big it is, cleaning everything perfectly can be a challenge. For large families though with a lot of kids this is a great option!
