Driving instructor arrived 20-30 minutes late to all lessons, then on the final booked lesson decided to call the day prior. Called to tell me 7:30am tomorrow! Knowing I’d booked 2 weeks before this for 9am. The lesson never happened as I could not do a lesson at 7:30am therefore lost £90 and have not heard back from BSM since requesting a refund over a week ago now. AVOID. - Uxbridge Area

Warning to all, Do your research before you book a lesson with Brian Foote a BSM instructor in Swindon, was picking me up 10 minutes late & dropping me of 20 minutes early, I asked him why and he stated that he’s not teaching me anymore & terminated all my lesson, called up BSM spoke to Nigel & they just protect the drivers, not only this, Brian Foote also has a bottle of Bacardi In his car so I guess he is a heavy drinker, Brian Foote is A BAD INSTRUCTOR do not use this company or instructor, spread the word & make sure no one else has this bad experience. Waste of DNA this Brian Foote.

Cancel lessons at the last minute with no explanation. They do it out of office hours so you can’t contact them and their hopeless chatbot is useless. No care for customers.

Stay away from this company and Brian Foote in Swindon. He is the greediest old man I have ever seen. He was all about the cha-ching! Every lesson felt like a money-making marathon. We were stuck doing the same maneuvers over and over, and I swear, he invented new reasons to keep me on the road longer. It was like learning to drive took a back seat to his bank account. After a whopping 40 hours of lessons, he drops the bomb: "Cancel your test and I am not going to take you to the test centre." He showed me some statistics that at my age (36) it would be a miracle to pass the exam after 40 hours of lesson and it would destroy his pass rate and he might lose his instruction certificate! I cancelled the test and booked another one. Just to add a sprinkle of frustration, he decides to not take me to the test center only 30 minutes before the test, after a mind-boggling 60 hours of lessons. He was trying to convince me to take more lessons because there is a tiny distance to being a perfect driver. I contacted BSM and requested to change the instructor. HAVE NOT HEARED FROM THEM. So, I started looking for a new private instructor. I took a couple of lessons with the new guy because I needed to get comfortable with new car. The new instructor was surprised that I hadn’t taken a test after 60 hours of lesson yet. He told me that like every other business there are such people and he also mentioned about bad reputation of BSM in this business and it is all about money. BTW, I passed my test in the first try with only 3 minors.

Shafiq from birmingham fraudster bsm take no responsibilty for there drivers so avoid paying a premium AA/BSM both same company all con artist involved scammmers

Please do Not pick BSM as your driving school. They only care about money they dont have any contact number to speak to a proper person they are all about time and money waste. Avoid at all costs

Located in south west london. I have a series of terrible experiences with BSM - Mahamede Warsame (dangerous driver), Mubina Mohammed (tried to change first lesson with limited notice and then didn't turn up + send rude messages), Muneer Ahmed (tried to extract additional 150 cah payment out of me to take the test) BSM take no responsibility and say that their drivers are self employed. Avoid at all costs

BSM. Driving instructor name NICOLAS SMITH and his badge number 855647. STAY A WAY HE TOOK MY MONEY AND JUST VANISHED.NOT TRUST WORTHY. BEWARE I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration regarding the driving lessons I received from BSM driving school. Regrettably, my experience with BSM instructor fell far below my expectations, and I feel compelled to provide feedback on the various issues I encountered during my time with them. Firstly, I found the instructor NICOLAS SMITH BADGE NR 855647 teaching methods to be ineffective and insufficient. He failed to provide clear and comprehensive explanations of essential driving concepts, leaving me confused and ill-prepared. Another significant concern was the instructor's apparent disinterest in my progress and well-being as a learner. NICOLAS SMITH displayed a lack of attentiveness during our lessons, often distracted and seemingly unengaged. NICOLAS SMITH have sent me a text because I've questioned him , about why I am only have been practising on the same street for the last 36 lessons, especially when my test in three weeks? his replay was, that I have 2 options,, take the test on the correct date with someone else or change the date? NICOLAS SMITH is the one how booked the date and the test centre, it was not me, he never said anything about my driving. so when I told him I will not, he just ignored my texts, took my money and just vanished. Lastly, the administrative aspects of my experience with BSM driving school were equally disappointing. The communication from BSM team was inconsistent and unprofessional. NO Phone number available and emails often went unanswered or were met with delayed and vague responses. This lack of clear communication added unnecessary stress and frustration to an already unsatisfactory learning experience. BSM have not helped me or supported me. BSM kept saying that NICOLAS SMITH not working anymore with them and he is self-employed. I regretfully cannot recommend your driving school or instructor to others seeking driver training. The lack of professionalism, ineffective teaching methods, disregard for punctuality and safety, and overall indifference towards my progress have left me profoundly dissatisfied and disheartened. TO BSM: I hope that you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to ensure that future students do not have to endure the same disappointing experience I did. and please do get a phone number like any other normal business. Not recommend at all.. Show available slot and than when dates near they cancel the slot. And also not confirm if next slot. Not take lessons from this .. Very bad experience

Worst customer service and non professional organisations. I have books 10 lessons with their instructor named Edyta Ostrowska( covering Dartford area) Their instructor disappears with out letting us know in advance. We have even complained but they haven’t replied , instructor cancelled lesions with out telling us and no refund was made . Definitely instructor is stealing our money in this time . Even in the complain we requested the refund but so far no response from the BSM for refund even they didn’t contacted us The organisation is waste of money, time and energy . Never choose them . It’s a pathetic company offering pethatic experience to the customers It’s been a month we didn’t get any reply or any refund

Obaidullah is the worst instructor that I have had and I have had 4-5 instructors, some for mock tests and with some had lessons, but never had a worse one than this one . Treats you completely like rubbish and doesn't give you any confidence. Wouldn't ever recommend this guy

I would avoid at all cost their instructor Daniel Nwanegbu, is a terrible. Does not give feedback, he has gone on racist rants during lessons and when you ask how many lessons you need after 20+hours. He will reply 'how much you got?'. Save your money go somewhere else!!!

First lesson with Twinky I was dropped off 25minutes early. Second lesson was told would start at 11am. Went outside, no-one there. Waited. Got a call at 11.20 asking where I was. I said I was waiting. Was told she doesn't call pupils to let them know. I then went out and couldn't see her. As she parked in another street on the first lesson, I checked that street. Nothing. Had to call her to say I'm waiting. There is always space outside my home to park, but she didn't. Was told the lesson can't be done. Went to get refund for the block, paid £331 and refund option was only for £198, so have in effect, paid her £133 and got only 1 lesson. Customer service were of no help and just kept saying, 'Lesson is charged.' Absolute con and waste of time. Being unemployed, it took me over 6-months to save for these lesson and they have taken me for a ride. I'm so upset with the standard of service I have received. Now I will have to save up again to start all over but I can tell you now, that when that time comes, it absolutely won't be with BSM.

I'm utterly dissatisfied with the BSM services. In August, I booked online 10 hours lessons in their awkward online portal in Sep & Oct before my Test Day in Oct . I asked them via online chat (there is no other way of communication) to confirm if the schedules are confirmed. They confirmed and when I asked that how I can talk to my instructor for further alignment on the dates, locations, and test day they simply said due to confidentiality we cannot give our instructor number to you but will ask them to do so. This has been refuted by BSM instructor that never anyone had asked him to contact me sooner and he never has any issue that his number to be shared. Last night, 1 week before my first lesson and 2 weeks before my Test, I have been contacted by the Instructor and he told me: "I cannot cover all your lessons as my calendar is full with other learners and on top I cannot give you my car for the test day" which I booked that as well. So, now I have to go find any instructor in a very short notice and either cancel my exam for such a mess and to be in a queue for at least 6 months for another test day. Hope one day BSM will appreciate that having refunding process is not a sole mechanism to run a business with poor quality. How can they compensate the big delay for my test being in queue again for 6 months just because of their mismanagement?

I had a driving instructor called Rob Pienaar in Aberdeen. He was the most unprofessional teacher that I ever seen. He would shout at me or swear at people in the streets. Furthermore, he would take breaks for a cigarette every 45 minutes which it is against the company policy or stop to chat with his pals whilst you are paying his lessons. I am not the first client who complains about his practice. A person who I know took 42 lessons with him and never taught her how to drive in round abouts, turn right or outside Althens. If you want to pass your test I recommend you to not book with this instructor or you will be paying him 5 pounds every time that he sees a friend and stops for a chat or has a break for a cigarrette.

Awful company. Bought lessons for son 10 months ago, terms and conditions state 12 months to use and instructor to honour. Went to book on online account and wouldn't let me. Send emails, calls, texts, emails and no replys! Managed to eventually contact instructor and was told to contact BSM for refund as after 10 months my son was an inactive student and he was fully booked anyway!! So either way need another instructor or a refund. BSM have my money illegally now! AVAOID AT ALL COSTS! AWFUL

Honest Review. AVOID BSM! My driving instructor Macsood from Birmingham literally ruined me. I probably suffer from PtSD now because of him. Couldn't even teach me the very basics but let me drive around for an hour independently while he texted his mates or made calls to his family. He would waste an hour of a 2 hour lesson making me park up on a side road while he scribbled manoeuvres free-hand on a paper just so he can save fuel (I get fuel prices are high but paying £40 per hour isn't cheap too). Diagrams can be found online for free. He didn't have to waste my learning time while I watched him scribble stuff I already knew. Macsoood would also lose his temper when I made mistakes. Bad fkin teacher. The worst part is, BSM HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. They have a web chat but those guys are just useless. BSM has no phone number too so you can't report instructor negligence. How can any large company get away with this behaviour in 2022 is crazy. I reported my complaint on 6th May and haven't gotten a response apart from the automatic reply of acknowledgement of my complaint. They ask you to report complaints to driving.school.complaints@theaadot com but no human will answer you back. I tried to report them to the DVSA but they responded they can't do anything as it's a civil matter. BSM know customers can't do shxt to them so they allow shady instructors to work for them. BSM has significantly affected my learning which will set me back for my test date. All I can say is, use a company that has a customer service . Anything can happen so at least you have recourse to complain. Beware of BSM at all costs. I hope they get called out for their negligence by a watchdog. They can't be allowed to operate like this .

Booked a block of 10 lessons for my daughter and instructor never turned up. Emailed BSM and never received a reply back. No refund and no lessons! Incredible bad service! They just rob people and committing fraud by not offering the service we paid for. My daughter lost her money, test money and has to retake her theory now!!!!! Do not use EVER!!!!!!
