Unfortunately I have been let down. Customer service is appalling. Ordered a sink and a tap expecting delivery in 2-3 days. The tap arrived but no sink. No messages or emails from them re despatch or when we might expect sink. Rang customer services on hold for 20 minutes and then got told to email. They do not want to help. Reply from email just apologised and they said it’s discontinued. No mention of refund. I said I wished to cancel the whole order and get money back for tap too as clearly won’t need it. Another email apologising but no mention of my refund. Now saying out of stock. I rang Bristan, the makers of the sink. They said it’s merely out of stock but not discontinued. I still cannot get anywhere with emails. We are at the end of a very long building project at home and this has just about finished me off. They are appalling and unprofessional in their dealings with customers. I have spent over £300 but I feel I will see neither that money or the sink and have an unwanted tap.

DO NOT USE As others have said unscrupulous, dishonest. I ordered and paid for an Ideal Standard basin and semi pedestal, the Ideal item code was correct for both the basin & the pedestal on the delivery note (which in fact came from another company,Ideal Bathrooms of Milton Keynes so they are only "brass plating") they both looked correct I couldn't fit for a couple of weeks until my tiler had finished. when I did fit I found that the wrong pedestal had been sent in that it was too deep to fit into the base of the basin. The one they had sent was for a different basin only found out by sending the bar code to Ideal Standard to identify.I tried to ring them a few times to no avail, finally getting through last Friday whereupon I was put on hold for 10 minutes then cut off, on ringing them back the answerphone was on, considering they advertise open 24/7 the lines close at 5.00 pm I then filled in their mail request (no e-mail address available) to which I had a reply and after 3 times going back and forth, they are refusing to take any responsibility for dispatching the wrong item to me and will not swap it over giving the excuse "because I have fitted it" I have advised them that as the item codes were correct there was no way of knowing it was the wrong pedestal they sent but still they will not move even though they have not fulfilled the contract and not sent what I had ordered. They are totally dishonest DO NOT USE

Absolute joke of a company!! I ordered £1300 of supplies received nothing within specified timeframe, rang 3 times waste of effort ended up creating a credit card dispute to get my money back ... Don’t use them

Ordered some paving online. Before ordering I checked it could be delivered in time and was promised 3-5 days. I have now been waiting 23 days, have been informed it has been delivered (but not to site) Have managed to purchase directly from supplier but they won't refund me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Am reporting to trading standards.

Bought some interior doors in March and one was faulty. E mailed the company and received a reply asking for and image. Which I sent. Thenanother E mail asking for the door size. That was 15th April, nothing heard since. Can't contact them by phone. Live chat is not fit for purpose. I'm now in the process of taking them to the small claims court and have informed Trading Standards. Bunch of cowboys thinking they can rip people off and get away with it. Please do not buy anything from this company!!!

Ordered items. Nothing sent and no real effort of proof of item sent. I will be raising this now with my credit card as a dispute.

Please take notice and read reviews before you order. I ordered £650 of garden decking on 31st March and didn't receive until 21st April, they told me 3-5 days for delivery which is why I ordered from here. Must have tried to contact them over 15 times and they don't give you any answers and are no help whatsoever, and you can't ring to speak to anyone. Honestly the worst customer service I have ever ever dealt with. This company should not still be trading, they are awful and I will never use them again and never recommend them to anyone. I do not ever write reviews but if I could score lower than one star I would. Pay the extra and shop elsewhere, DO NOT ORDER THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!!!

Having to take these jokers to Court for non refund. Avoid at all costs and choose someone reputable instead. may just turn up at their offices in next few days....

My name is Andrea I have spent £3000 on my doors with BSO oh my God they have no phone number for service , only sale, and only live chat for customer complains. They don’t reply to your email if you have a problem until 3 days later The doors damage easily and their is no after care service. Customer service is rude and abrupt. Only if the we’re working for me I would fire them all. I will send you emails days and days back and forth. You will see for yourself. They sent the wrong door, and refused to collect it after paying £40 for delivery. I can’t find a company to collect the door because of the hight. They offer 2 year guarantee but it doesn’t cover any damage at all. Stay away please you will cry 😢 the don’t care one e they have the sale.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Ordered a Ladder M8rix on 23rd June as the delivery date was three days and i needed the product the following week (please dont blame Covid or change yor delivery options). After numerous emails over 10 days i eventually got a call stating the package was at the delivery depot as the post code was wrong..it wasnt. They agreed to get in touch with the depot and return the parcel back to sender so i could get a refund, ok great. The parcel arrived at my door and has been sat here waiting was collection ever since. After more emails and calls to this company i am still waiting for somebody to get in touch to sort this out...no replys.

ordered doors 3rd may 2020 now 25th may 2020 still no delivery. No contact either. sent numerous emails for refund. Still no contact one unhappy customer

DO NOT USE THIS SITE Complete waste of time. Positives – They are quick and efficient in taking your money. Negatives - They do not send the goods you have paid for or any goods for that matter. They do not answer the phone, their call system has three options all of them will put you on hold play you some music for a but and then cut you off. They do not respond to emails. Emailed to ask where the goods I ordered were as they were listed with a 3-5 day delivery and it had been over 2 weeks. They only responded and promised a refund when I told them I was coming to their office.

Absolute joke of a company, avoid at all costs, trying to recover £549 for doors that were delivered damaged. The company are saying there is nothing they can do for me and refusing to refund me. So I’m now stuck with damaged doors which are no good to me at all.

Sent wrong door and trying to get me to pay for return. I have attached pictures to show cotworlds online has 5 panels in the middle they sent me a door with 3 panels? Been over a month and still left with a door that I don't want and back and fourth with emails that is not resolving this issue. I am in the trade and renivate house for over 10 years. I honestly feel the customer service is poor. Which is a shame as would of used BSO again if this would of been sorted

Avoid at all costs, trying to recover over £500 for products that weren't delivered fro almost three months; ignored all emails for cancellation then wonder why when they randomly try and deliver after three months I refuse the goods! Absolute joke of a company

Was waiting over a week for a quotation, did not reply to my emails at all, saying after a week that I need to resend the email, as they cannot find it, and did not receiving. I was chasing it every day and they were saying t was all on the case. Useless company. DO NOT USE

Ordered and paid for 4no rooflights at 09:00 received an email at 17:20 cancelling the order because of supply issues and telling me it would take 24 to 48 hours to get my money back. Too late in the day to contact either the BSO or the manufacturer and no attempt was made to contact me by phone to discuss these supposed issues. The following morning I contacted the manufacturer who advised there were no issues regarding manufacture or delivery. I looked up the product on BSO’s website again only to discover the price had increased by 20% and this I think is why they cancelled the order. BSO’s flagrant disregard for customer care is shocking on three fronts: First they took the order and provided a vat invoice and at the same time removed nearly £4K from my bank. This as far as I’m concerned forms a contract which should be honoured. Second to make no attempt to actually talk to a customer regarding issues whatever they are is disgusting. Finally if they can remove the money instantly they should return it with the same speed, it only needs someone to push some buttons. I advise future potential customers to find an alternative supplier who cares about the customer and does not treat them with smug arrogance.

Placed an order for £349.49 of sawn timber. But received an email 2 days after order was placed saying they could not deliver to the area and have cancelled the order. This is the first time I've heard Cornwall to not be mainland England - BSOs website states they deliver to mainland England.

Faulty doors!!!!My children and I locked in our house and having to climb over the garage to enter the house due to a faulty 800.00 front door,which I had been told by their own technician who finally came a week later that the door had a manufacturing default and is bowed,they now are denying this ,luckily I have proof and am pursuing this legally,I have never known such lies within a company,this door we had trouble from the start ,first of all all the parts were missing this was resolved a week later having have to turn away my fitters ,then the door fitted when I could finally reschedule but could not be adjusted as the keeps were latching on the keys were bending in the lock due to not being correct ,I phoned BSO as we were being locked in and out constantly,someone tried to fob me off and as really rude and Un sympathetic with it takes time as they have to go back to the manufacturer,2 days later no returned call my 14year old boy was having to climbover our garage to get through the back still no phone call back,the last straw myself and my two youngest children could not get out of the house for work and school,I was in tears at this point and had to get someone to come and force it open and my children in tears too ,I called again at this exact point in time to be told it would be sorted as I was so distressed ,I was then told this door was brought through 2 other companies before BSO sold it to me (but would not take responsibility for it)I was supposed to wait as not their problem and I would have to wait a week before their technician could come and look,I could not believe this was happening ,constant phone calls I had to make as there seemed to be no urgency and now the lies,I had no choice but to wait for a technician of theirs they told me so then it would be resolved once someone had been out and I requested I would not keep this door due to it being unsafe whatever happened in the meantime my builder had to tape the door so we could access it at least,although my eldest son could not,the technicians came ,they moved the jeep and changed the lock with new keys,l as they informed me these were not correct and they could not get it to the correct standard and then when checked with the spirit level informed me the door was bowed and that there was a manufacturing defect ,they secured the door but said they would fill out the report as a defect door and that my the children would have difficulty as they gave me the option of having to pull the door to be able to open it or have a stiff turn to be able to,neither options were great but I had no choice(I knew that they were trying to see if it could be fixed as not to pay out although I told them all along it is not correct as my fitters informed me from the beginning, BSO told me until the report came back to them there was nothing they could do ,by this time the door had needed a crow bar to open it,this was the Tuesday they came out and I kept chasing customer services,the following Thursday over a week later I finally received an email not even a call from the head of customer services who kept telling me she was on my side and it was awful but she soon changed to when it came down to keeping the companies money.l,but I was hopeful as surely the technicians rating the door was defect it would have to be resolved and replaced,The report stated that the door was not defect and that they just think I just want a new door.the door was accessible and they would only offer me a delivery reimbursement of 35.00!as a goodwill gesture!!!! This whole experience has made my children and I feel awful,I cannot believe the lies that have been made here and this is not the whole story,the manufacturer LPD said I had cancelled the technicians to come as I was so angry for the wait but I did not ,I had a feeling that this was going to be trouble so luckily I have evidence that the technicians told me the door had a manufacturing defect and I feel so strongly about how they have treated me and my children I am currently seeking to take this to a small claims court amongst social media and any other way that I can prevent this happening to other families and all the point in need a safe and secure non faulty door for my children ,over 1000 pounds with fitting is a lot of money to me and the door and I am left with is unsafe and not fit for purpose,that is without the stress this has deeply caused,please do not purchase from these people where no one will accept the responsibility out of three companies, LPD,BSO and Excalibur,so mistreated and mislead and without a doubt hazardous.
