Just back from our 3 day trip at the Highland Hotel, Strathpeffer ... it was so good ... hotel and food could not be better 😋. We had so much fun and Alan the manager could not do enough for us. We will certainly be returning !

From being picked up in carlisle and travelling to torquay, andy the driver made it a very happy experience. He was always upbeat, friendly and polite and explained everything in detail. The food at the hotel exceeded our expectations. The inclusive drinks vouchers cover most drinks, or a slight additional charge for a large wine, instead of standard charge. The inclusive trips were also very good. We didnt do the optional tour as we have friends who live in brixham, so went to see them on that day. Suggest you consider brixham as a half day trip, as its really lovely, harbour, shops, eateries etc. All in all a really lovely break away.

Trip to Blackpool with a day excursion to Liverpool. The Caledonian Hotel was good, so were the staff, ever so helpful and pleasant👍 the breakfast and 3 course evening dinner was plentiful, a different course each night. Free tea and coffee during the entire trip. We bought the drinks package and wouldn’t do this again as most of it went unused. Our driver didn’t have a lot to say other than a few moans about mis information on his schedule list. There was so little engagement with the passengers on board. When you are on holiday you don’t want to hear moans!! All in all I would do this wee trip again. Thanks Caledonian.

From pick up to drop off our driver Jamie was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. The trips were good and the drop off and pick up points were convenient for people like myself with mobility issues. The coach was clean and comfortable. The prices are good for everything included in your stay. Will definitely book another trip.

My self and sister went on the northern lights trip to the northern lights. Arrived at the hotel and was made very welcomed slightly disappointed that the swimming pool was closed but made other arrangements the coach tour operator was the most helpful and friendly person Ricky he's a superstar and a credit to your company would differently go on a other bus tour if they are all like Ricky Thank you.

I have just returned from the Caledonian New Southlands Hotel, Scarborough. A nice clean and friendly hotel. The staff were very good. I enjoyed the drinks package and the night-time entertainment. The dining room is very good, but I found the food average and not very hot. I had a small single room which I found cold. The small bathroom had a small shower head, that lacked power, and in adequate. Two out of three days, I hand washed myself in a small vanity basin. I was in room 302. Apart from the negatives, this is still a good package for the money, and would go again, hopefully not in room 302. Alan Parnell.

Our driver Ricky was very professional and exceptionally helpful, careful and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The murder mystery night was entertaining and enjoyable. The only disappointment was only one zero alcohol beer. No zero wine or gin. The staff was helpful and the food was nice and plentiful. Beach, promenade and shops are easy accessible on foot. Will travel again with caledonian. Tree stars for the hotel otherwise 4* old but clean.

New year trip to southport .The driver Philip was very pleasant and helpful 👍. Day trip to Liverpool excellent. Been on a few trips with caladonian tours and enjoyed .This time we stayed in Scarisbrick Hotel .Breakfast was excellent Dinner not so good. Not much of a choice and dessert was same every night .small piece of chocolate or raspberry sponge.New years day there was a brunch/lunch which was chillie/rice and chips and boiled eggs ! Wouldn't call that lunch .Rooms basic but clean but in 4 days no housekeeper to check bins toilet etc . Wouldn't recommend Scarisbrick Hotel. Wouldn't go back

Twixmas London trip. Our coach driver was Jason, who was absolutely first class. We hadn't realised the trip included guided travel into the city each day and Jason certainly knew his stuff. The International Hotel on Canary Wharf was decent enough..although we had to change rooms 3 TIMES the first night, no power in 1st one, no working TV in 2nd one, after which we were upgraded but found next morning that the shower didn't work! They did resolve that immediately though. The food choices were basic, and limited for vegetarians but apart from these gripes, (and the noise/ music from the adjoining room half the night, not the hotel's fault) it was a good trip!

Nothing went wrong but feel that Caledonian management should have a quiet word with Gary who seems to be the new face of Caledonian Travel in Scotland….Travelled with Gary on several trips and his attitude to his passengers sometimes leave's a lot to desired, he can be quite passive aggressive sometimes, he spoke to two elderly ladies who were merely trying to adjust the temperature control on our last trip a few weeks ago, instead of offering to help he actually said “what are you trying to do, break the the thing”…. He his in most part very knowledgable about the local area even though his favourite subject is Gary..
