“Had a Wonderful time at the Arrachar Hotel, last week, lovely warm room, service in the Dining Room was excellent food very nice. Will certainly be back there again😀 The diver was wonderful on our trip to Fort William and very friendly. Loved every minute. Thank you to all the Staff.”

“JUST BACK FROM ARRACHAR WITH THE CALEDONIAN COMPANY,AND IT WAS JUST GREAT,LOVELY HOTEL,FOOD, AND A GREAT STAFF AND HAPPY TEAM,APART FROM ONE OF THE MANAGERS ,SHE REALLY DOES NEED TO SMILE BACK AT HER CUSTOMERS,BEN NEVIS WAS JAW DROPPING AS WAS BEN LOMAND,THE OUTINGS TO OBAN, AND THE KELPIES, WAS SPOT ON TOO,AND THE SNOW PACKED GLENS WERE SPECTACULAR,IT WAS A GOOD TIME TO BE THERE,THE HOTEL IS MODERN CLEAN.COMORTABLE AND ONCE AGAIN WE MET SOME LOVELY PEOPLE ON BOARD WITH US,SO THANKYOU TO THE COMPANY,THE TWO COACH DRIVERS WHO KNOW THEIR STUFF WHEN IT COMES TO SCOTTISH HISTORY,AND THE HOTEL FOR MAKING US WELCOME, WITH KIND REGARDS JENN/ALAN ROBSON”

“Been in a mystery bus trip from Sunderland we ended up in Scarborough staying at the grand this hotel really needs to get the cleaning sorted out , very dirty rooms and smelly .our driver Chris was great keeping us all entertained”

“Just on our way back from a mystery trip with Caledonian. We did Bakewell and Matlock the first day. Stayed over at the Hilton in stoke on Trent overnight. Lovely, clean hotel with amazing choice for breakfast. The evening meal was the only disappointing part. We was shipped out to a separate room on the 1st floor. We ran out of veg and chips. No condiments available. We was just made to feel like secondhand citizens. Anyway, the next day we went to Chester. It was really lovely and our driver Ken has been amazing. He’s looked after us all from start to finish. We will definitely travel with Caledonian again.”

“Having just been on a Caledonian trip to Arrochar staying in the claymore hotel,the only negative point concerned the evening meals very poor quality yet the breakfasts were brilliant great trip especially the gondola 🚠 at Ben Nevis but the main reason for this review is the excellent service that I received upon leaving my wallet on the coach at the Gretna green change over only noticed at Leeds my destination reported it to the driver who immediately contacted Richard our previous coach driver who called back in minutes to say he had found it and I was reunited with it the next day all intact brilliant service by all and may thanks for your honesty 👍five stars 🌟”

“Arrived back from arrochar. 4day break 5sept. 2025 can't fault anything food good 👍 entertainment good 👍 bedroom very clean & comfortable 👍Gary out bus driver was excellent very knowledgeable and funny he was the icing on the cake 👍👍can't wait for our next one I was nervous about going as it was our first trip with caledonion travel I need not of worried it was brilliant Margaret A”

“Recently got back from staying at the claymore hotel at arrochar. The hotel is a bit dated but rooms were clean and comfortable bed. The food was fab and staff were lovely. Our coach driver Richard was brilliant very informative with information on all the trips. Especially liked the Scottish pipe music while driving through glencoe. If you want to do a trip to see plenty of scenery this is a great trip to do. Will definitely be doing this one again.”

“Recent trip to Isle of Wight,(5th September 2025, what a fantastic trip, our driver was Craig, he was lovely, he went over and above to ensure everyone was enjoying the trip, even when one of the passengers was in a bit of a dilemma, Craig sorted it straight away, met some lovely people, hotel is a bit dated, but the atmosphere was great, staff were lovely too.”

“Went on isle of wight trip on 5th September 25 craig was our driver was an amazing weekend craig was brilliant we all had such a laugh with him craig is a great asset to your company will definitely book again if I new he was going to be our driver brilliant hotel needs some work a bit down and out food not up to much but trips was great big thanks to Craig had a great break Debbie and Pete North from Hull”

“went on a trip to loch Lomond. Glasgow and the Ayrshire coast last week it was good the driver Paul was very nice and has been doing this rout for a while .but we went to Girvin and there wasnt anything there so i would take this oof of one of stops and go to Largs i only have one complaint the hotel was nice and clean staff were friendly but the food was atrocious so someone needs have word with Managment of the hotel”

“My son and I are making some memories, I am 78yrs and slightly disabled. So far we have been on road recent tours, firstly I'll say the coaches are great, air con superb and all perfectly planned. Our driver was Allen for both trips and he was just great such a good driver. Both trips, murder mystery and the Lion King were superb and there was a few extra tours and sight seeing included. The overnight stays were adequate and comfortable. We are booked again for Scotland, Oban and Inverairy. Caledonian has been the best of experiences. Thank you. Marion Cowper”

“I went on a trip to Oxford Converty Stratford with my sister .We had a brilliant time .Plenty of laughs with every one on board the bus.I must say we had a very experience driver called Thomas .He knew the roads like the back of his hand .Thomas made our journey very relaxed and comfortable.”

“I recently returned from your peak railway & Lancashire cruise. The Britanior hotel Bolton was excellent, food good & staff friendly. The coach driver Damien was friendly & excellent company. The only fly in the ointment was the peak railway which was not a steam train & the scenery was of a railway road scrap yard & a gypsy camp site. No information about the route or train history & why we were stationary for a period of time was given. I would suggest that this was a waste of time & money & removed from the holiday.”

“Wow just got back from a mystery trip and everything was faultless driver looked after us very well 2 pleasant stops on route to our hotel in Stoke The Hilton which was 💯 % rooms had mini fridge and were very modern and clean.Food was amazing very good quality and cooked to perfection with a very tasty vegetarian option,staff very friendly and helpful.Back on the coach last day stopping off at Chester which I really enjoyed so Thankyou Caledonian for a perfect weekend”

“Well I would like to firstly start with a big shout out for Jamie, our driver. He drove through London, which is so stressful yet he kept calm, professional and friendly. He looked after everyone and I would go so far as to call him a friend. The hotel was amazing, very clean and I would say posh. The meals were buffet style, with so many amazing options. I really enjoyed the fact that we had our own time to do whatever we wanted and the trip to Camden. I went to Live Odyssey and let's just say, I met a famous lady, that had an even more famous brother and she encouraged me to follow my dreams. I couldn't rate the holiday better.”
