“Just got back from ilfracombe staying at the Dilkhusa hotel. Old hotel but so so clean beds were comfortable and clean. towels soft and fluffy. Had a bit of a hiccup but the wonderful staff sorted me out. Every member of staff never had a smile off their faces I’ve never been to a hotel with such pleasant staff nothing was a bother to them. Our main server in dining room was John what a lovely lad he is an asset to the company as all other staff are reception staff were just lovely.
The meals were superb never had as good. Buffet breakfast choice of 3 starters 3 main course and 3 puddings for dinner.
If you couldn’t find anything you liked you’re hard to please. Not far from town lovely weatherspoons with a roof top bar. Fab crab sandwiches and cream teas available by harbour. Entertainment on Tuesdays and Thursdays and bingo on Wednesdays along with quiz.
Journey down is long but doesn’t bother us. We take salad lunch and plenty snacks as you don’t get much time at stops. Traffic was terrible on motorway but Peter our driver was great getting through it. Long day for us but longer for drivers we can nap. Very safe reliable driver.
Only minus was the toilet it was minging on way back. We didn’t see many people using it so shouldn’t have been that bad I used a spray can of deoderant as used it every time door was opened smell was horrendous. I’ve been on loads of coach holidays and toilets were emptied at services. Made journey uncomfortable.
But would highly recommend this tour.”

“This trip from start to finish was absolutely diabolical, the coach ride to Llandudno was a disgrace, people in their seventies drinking alcohol and shouting give us a blow hob and I'll give you a can, this is by the way with children on the coach, bus driver did nothing to stop this behaviour, also caladonian added people to our trip and also gave them our seats, the new loretta hotel was a disgrace you were treat like 5 year olds you weren't component enough or trustworthy enough as fully functioning adults to decide where to sit in the restaurant to eat your meals, the room was dirty, mouldy and full of cobwebs, total bleep show would give it no stars but got to rate 1 to review”
“22.07.2024 - Just returned from 5 days in Newquay - lovely break. The Driver Tom was excellent - couldn't do enough for us. Great Driver as well coping with the horrendous traffic on the motorway. “I totally forgot to post this. In March I traveled to Donegal with t Caledonian travel. From start to finish it was faultless. Our coach driver Robert . Was a fount of knowledge. We had extra trips all along the Atlantic way. Also had a trip to Derry and on the last day time in Belfast. The hotel was superb. Can’t begin to explain how fabulous the food was. Like going to a wedding every night. The staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you. Highly recommend this your . Superb value for money.”
“Always find the call centre staff polite and professional answering any queries and booking. The only problem was insurance this time, previously used Caledonian hopefully the problem will be resolved next time we book.
Visited Llandudno again in July,we really enjoyed the coach trip, very good driver, Andy from Sunderland who was prompt and kept everyone amused and well informed.
We went to the New Lorretta for four days departing from Leeds. We found the hotel greatly improved at meal times with the bedroom recently decorated, clean with daily service. All the staff polite and very helpful and the evening entertainment was enjoyable with free drinks vouchers included.
A very enjoyable break and I will recommend and use the company again. After a number of trips to Llandudno the day out is a bit repetitive however we had the option not to along.”

“Came back from Great Yarmouth on the 15th of July after a four day break, I'v never met such an ignorant driver, he never spoke through any of the journey there or back,gave us any information about stops pickups or any thing.Also the Nelson Hotel were we stayed needed alot of updateing and the food wasn't upto much either. the biggest complaint was the driver its the worst experience i'v ever had..”

“Just back from a great weekend, coronation street tour on Saturday and liverpool visit on Sunday. Hotel was very modern, spotless and dinner and breakfast, faultless The whole experience was amazing, but a huge 5 stars to our lovely driver Andy. Every pickup/drop off points were spot on ,as was his information about all the places we visited, but most of all was his friendly humour, got the whole coach together as one ,thanks soo much Andy 👍”
“Just returned from the gullivers world and chester zoo woth caledonian travel, the coach was spotless driver was friendly friendly bunch of passengers great atmosphere, gullivers was magical my 2 year old loved it especially on the parkk train and lost city, the gulivers Hotel was also amazing we got a themed room so extra points for that
Chester zoo was also amazing experience all this for a great affordable price I hope.the gullivers amd chester zoo is on again next year as id love to take my toddler again we have already booked the cbeebies short break

“I have just returned from the Torbay Hotel Torquay 7day holiday. I never expected a 5 star rated hotel. But a room without painted over dampness on ceiling and walls. And mould in shower room.And shower mat covered in mould, it was on the walls and no one could have missed it. Yet they still put us in room 4010. Even the carpet was covered in dirt and stains. The manager was a disgrace he didn't want to know and just passed it on to the house keeper who just came up with it was due a revamp!! Over all to many guests not enough decent room available. NEVER USE CALEDONIAN TRAVEL AGAIN. THEY OWN THE HOTEL .”

Room 123. .. .We tried to come home early ..But only one place available on the home coming bus..
