“After an initial misunderstanding over the sale of an ex demonstration lens, the problem was resolved immediately and without quibble. All the in house staff in the Drummond Street branch could not have been more helpful. At the same time they provided an excellent fast turnaround on sensor cleaning and could not have been more helpful on demonstrating other lenses. Altogether a first class experience, uncharacteristic of large companies. Very many thanks.”

“I purchase a lot of Brilliant Lustre Paper but find it annoying when it is not always available at my local Belfast Store, also inks for Epson R3000 are not always available and have had to order them via phone and wait for 3 days on delivery I would be very pleased if these items were well stocked at the Belfast Store”

“Purchased a Genesis 400 portable flash kit from Wardour Street 27th Feb. Tested the unit over the weekend and all worked perfectly. Used the system on 4th March to photograph a group of 55 exectives and rather embarrissingly the trigger unit failed just at the wrong time... Hastely used my Canon flash as a trigger. Took said transmitter and receiver to Drummond Street on Sunday and it was exchanged with an apology and no quibble. This I would say is an isolated case of failure. I used the unit on two jobs yesterday and it worked perfectly with beautiful results. The Gemini is a cracking piece of kit and I'm not surprised stocks are limited. Calumet have lived up to their well deserved reputation for service. Thanks a million.”

“Good level of service overall given the Edinburgh branch seems understaffed - only two on my last visit visit. Trade in figures wildly variable - two Fuji primes £120 each and on resale at £350 each - lesson learned no more second hand trade in kit from me. I always check website as reference point as some items are same cost, however, other items more expensive than main stream competitors. Buy when cost is comparable.”

“I purchased a Color Munki from Calumet back in Nov 2014. The zipper was defective (not Calumet's fault) and it came apart in Feb 2015. The case is used as part of the calibration process. Calumet said that I could send the entire unit back for a replacement (they did not quibble). But I wanted to keep using it, so they made arrangements with the manager at Calumet Birmingham and I simply popped in and swapped the case. No hassle. I had been looking for a good price for a Canon 50mm 1.4 lens and knew the prices and I saw one in the shop and bought it. It was the best price (I could have bought a grey import for a few pounds less) so I was very happy. But why did I buy from Calumet? Because they give great customer service, have the lowest prices (unless you want grey imports) and support their business with shops and knowledgeable friendly staff. The manager even checked to see if there were any offers/deals on the lens before selling it to me. 10 out of 10.”
