“I had some questions about the construction of this item which were answered very efficiently and accurately; that entailed a visit to the stock room to fetch one to check on a couple of points. It arrived the day after I ordered it and it is actually better than I expected. Projector fits perfectly and it does the job very well - rock solid support when attached to a Gitzo GT 3541LS.”

“Very pleasant experience in the Glasgow store - as usual. Knowledgeable staff who were only too glad to help. It was no trouble for Alex to demonstrate how to use the lighting tent and speak about different uses and ideas for shots. I had also used the rental system to hire a Fuji lens which is a great service which is cost effective for amateurs like me. My 'go to' store for photographic needs.”

“I was looking for a new high end compact camera, After reading reviews I decided I would go for the Canon G5X. However this is a fairly new camera and still quite expensive, so after looking at camerapricebuster.com a rival camera company was selling it for £50 cheaper than its nearest rivals. I have bought from Culumet before so know they give great service and would price match any other leading camera store, which they did and I received my camera the very next day and I'm very happy with my purchase. “Excellent service both via customer services and in store. One suggestion, please have more transparency regarding the delivery of orders paid for with finance. Despite my finance being approved on the 30th pre 3pm, meaning it should've been delivered the next day, it didn't get delivered until the 6th Jan. Whilst this was partly due to the holiday period, it was also going to delivered to my billing address instead of my delivery one even though this term wasn't mentioned at any point throughout the ordering process. Other than that great service, would buy from you again.”

“My son and I visited Calumet in Manchester to look at a DSLR camera kit for video work. We have never shopped with Calumet before but found the details online and decided to give our nearest store a visit. Parking was free with plenty of available spaces. The store was clean tidy and all stock was nicely laid out with excellent hands on opportunity for all kit. We were given a warm welcome but didn't feel pressured. We had a good look round and then got chatting with one of the Calumet team. The service we received was nothing short of excellent. We were given many different options for both cameras and accessories. At no point in time were we pressurised into making a purchase, the focus (excuse the pun) was just on us being able to make an informed choice in a relaxed environment. After some time we were fully kitted out with camera and all the accessories we needed. Calumet were competitive on price but, more importantly than this, they offered us a level of service I have not experienced in a retail environment in quite some time, first class! In summary - modern retail with old-fashioned service. I will definitely be shopping with Calumet again.”

“I have always found the staff helpful and able to give good advice. I also attended a course at the Calumet Academy recently and found this very useful. I think it's great to have a place to learn, hire studio space (although I haven't done this) and buy or hire equipment all under one roof.”

“i was very pleased with the Lowepro Transit 350 AW backpack I ordered with Calumet. It appears ideal for traveling purposes , and it is made of strong material , which will, I sure .withstand the rigours of traveling. The compartments are well presented creating suitable areas for camera and equipment. I also liken the colour and neutral appearance of the backpack, which might help avoid the attention of thieves whilst traveling. The free next day delivery is an excellent service: something which was particularly beneficial to me and something i appreciated. Thank you.”

“After searching the on the internet on various occasions i decided that i need an specialist opinion on the products that i was after. So looking at many stores in the Birmingham area i decided Calumet photographic would be a decent place to go. My experience was far from decent. From the moment i walked into the store i was approached by a member of staff which happened to be the manager and they were more than happy to help. They provided me will excellent knowledge about the product that i was after and helped me in select the right product for my needs. I was very pleased with the level of service received from shopping in the store and would never hesitate to do so in the future. Very Good does not justify my experience with using Calumet Photographic.”
