I'm really glad there's a shop like Campfire Cycling in Tucson (locally) AND that they have an online presence too! I've made several trips to the store in downtown Tucson (glad it's not closer to where I live, otherwise I'd be there several times a week!). Anyway, I've got a 2011 29" MTB that I'm planning on using for the Tour Divide/GDMBR in 2024 and needed to replace some parts. Toby and the rest of the staff have been super helpful in answering my questions about gearing/drivetrain upgrades/replacement, cockpit changes, and general bike info. I do most of my own bike maintenance, repair, and restorations, and have burned out with online researching equipment and gear options, so it's been awesome to have Campfire Cycling here to bounce ideas off of. When it came time to get parts I made sure to have CC order them for me (yes I could've gotten it all online elsewhere, but I like to do business with local shops and people I know and trust). The types of gear and brands that CC carries are wide-ranging and it's nice to know I can find most of the stuff I need/want right here (Tumbleweed!). See ya soon!

Bought a bike and delivery got a bit mixed up. It eventually got all figured out and Campfire was on top of it the whole time. It all worked out, just a bit later than anticipated. An honest mistake. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Overall good experience and very satisfied with the bicycle purchase. My only issue was in the discovery of a nearly stripped allen caliper bolt and caliper mount threads on the fork for the front brake. I believe it to be a manufacturer mistake overall but judging by the amount of struggle shown on the bolt, it would have been nice to communicate that to me through email after completing the safety inspection prior to shipping it out. I retapped the threads and replaced the bolt and it brakes on a dime! The packing job done for shipping was excellent. FedEx didn’t deliver the best service, but Campfire Cycling’s tender loving care with packing made up for it. They were very fast to communicate through email when I was debating on the bicycle purchase. Watched some of their videos. What a cool bike shop. Makes me miss my wrenching days as a kid hanging around the shop. Thanks overall. The bike rides like a dream, and I didn’t find one scratch from transit! That won’t last though, I’m going to ride this baby into the ground over the years to come! Have fun out there. J

Just a broken rivet that the rubber strap whatyoucallit that holds the clip used to secure the Bob swing arm/fork to the q-release.

Great shop. Employees are pretty helpful. However, a couple of employees/mechanics were bickering about workloads and that someone needs to get started on their work and why haven't they started yet. These are not the type of conversations customers want to hear. What made me want was to leave. If you want a cool bikepacking bag in Tucson or even on the internet, this is the place.

You had the product I needed when expertvoice did not and I received it in a timely manner. Being a professional in the cycling industry I wish I would have been afforded the ability to have a discount like expertvoice but once again you had the product that I needed and they didn't.

Great rack however my bad it didn't fit my bike and I had to jerry rig it. I did a great job and made it fit with help from ace hardware. I'll be sure in the future I do better research before ordering.

Generally positive experience with CampfireCycling.com, the ecommerce site for a Tucson retail store specializing in bikepacking and related camping equipment. Products appear limited to premium brands and products at MSRP prices. On June 15th I placed an order for a product, only to learn after the fact that it was on back-order in the order confirmation email. It would have been nice to know this during the purchase process. Further, I was surprised to see that CampfireCycling.Com took the full payment upfront with no estimated availability date. In my experience most retailers may “authorize” the credit card at the time of purchase, but will not take funds until stock is replenished, or better yet, when the item is ready for shipment. After a delay, I emailed Customer Service, who explained COVID19 supply-chain disruptions, made stock availability unknown. The item eventually shipped 30 days later, was received after 6 calendar days via FedEx Ground, well packaged and received in excellent condition. Customer Service responded within 24 hours to email inquiries and was polite and honest about the situation. Moreover, upon request, they retroactively extended a discount that was applicable at the time of shipping, refunding my account the corresponding amount. Other than the aforementioned Backorder status and related payment policy, my experience was positive and reasonable, especially given the challenges to international supply chains and shipping. In “normal circumstances” I’m confident the level of service and experience would have been flawless. I would buy again from CampfireCycling.com

Turns out it's not the harness part I need. The old Chariot trailer I bought is too old to use the part. But it came really quickly! If you guys have a really old 3 point harness somewhere please let me know so I can buy that one instead :)
