Refused return on product bought 1 day prior. They said it wasn't their product. Then they said it was bought at another crappy tire. Both false.

It’s really not the first time. I’ve been to Canadian tire Aurora Ontario a few times to buy things. One was a big purchase. We wanted to buy patio furniture for about two grand, three grand. But no one was around to help. I roamed around and found somebody and they couldn’t give me the dimensions or they only had one set, which is the one I wanted. But was in a box and he couldn’t give me any information so I walked away. Now I’m here another time, I was just looking for laundry baskets that collapsed which they’re sold out, but told, I would get them tomorrow. And then I continued on to purchase balloons that were not cheap plus other ones for a birthday party tonight. And I had to walk up with all my purchases that I did have to the service desk and asked if they would please page someone to that area for me and then I walked back over to the area and no one came. So I just left all my purchases that I wanted down on the counter and walked away. I love Canadian tire I love buying Canadian but lots of staff. We’re walking by me and not even asking if I need help. Perhaps some better training is needed for this store.

It appears there is no follow-up for these reviews. If Canadian Tire values customer service, they should address my concerns here. I brought my car in for a minor electrical problem and was charged a two-hour diagnostic fee, despite the technicians being unable to identify the issue. I was advised to visit the dealer for diagnosis. I still don't understand why I was charged for diagnostics that provided no results. This needs clarification. After picking up my car, several new warning lights appeared on the dashboard, indicating that the technicians caused additional issues while attempting to diagnose the original problem. The service manager and his team were unprofessional, rude, and uncooperative. If you want to waste your money, risk further damage to your car, and be treated disrespectfully, this is the place to go. It appears there is no follow-up for these reviews. Worst store to deal with. When buying anything from Canadian Tire, the staff is taught to greet you. If for any case you have to return anything, FORGET IT.. YOU WILL BE TREATED AS "SHIT"

Sadly disappointed with my visit today. Went to purchase 30 bags of dirt along with Paint and Stain for my deck. I had a GF with me who has a physical handicap and speech problem and the Paint Associate was far from welcoming should I say. Did quite know how to help. So another Paint Associate came to help me with my paint/stain request but was not even remotely interested in assisting me. My original stain was from Home Depot who always match colours. Which I acknowledged but was told they could match. Ended up like too much work so. Sadly left disappointed at the lack of any assistance and went to Home Depot. Thank you Home Depot. Should have went there in the beginning.

The Franchise in Rouyin Noranda Is terrible. I blew a tire on Canada day in Northern Quebec, limped car to Noranda, found 5 tires my size at CT. I'm guessing garage manager refused to sell me the tire on sale, she refused to break a set of 4 that were on sale. She instead told me my only choice was a tire 3X the cost and 6 yrs old... I offered to buy 2 tires which still woulda been cheaper. Also too busy to take 10 minutes to mount on rim, Kal Tire took the time to get my tire on and back home 8 hours away. Now my GF woulda caved to her pressured sales tactics and bought 4 tires.. Worse service ever, what happened if it was warranty? Would she sold me a tire? Is it simple discrimination cause I'm English and out of province... Is it cause I'm a man stranded and her frail ego needs the power trip or was I just being gouged and screw the stranded customer... So yes complaints filed to head office, lawyer is going to be involved. I've worked in a Garage at the desk, we go out of our way for people who are stranded..Nice Canada Day festivities... This will be followed up , I'm disgusted with thst women and her attitude. Even after filing the 1st complaint the store owner still couldn't reach out. So another complaint filed and they offered to cover the Kal Tire bill. I would like to Thank Kal Tire for getting me in and installing a tire they didn't sell...very classy and professional..

The online ordering site is FRUSTRATING. Compared with other stores (Grocery booking appointments, for example) the site is IMPOSSIBLE to negotiate.I tried TWICE to PAY for purchases. Yesterday over $200.00.I then remembered that this had happened to me in the past. According to the payment page My credit card information was entered correctly, my address was correct. Hit PAY NOW and the site was never reached, with the attempt circling round and round for over a MINUTE trying to open. Canadian Tire lost a sale.I was frustrated because their prices are lower than other stores for the same items. I even checked my internet connection.

Today I took my car to the Canadian Tire near me for a wheel alignment. Given their first-come, first-served policy, I made sure to arrive at the store by 8 AM to be the first customer. I spoke with the parts and maintenance manager, who assured me that the service would take a couple of hours and that I would be called once it was completed. However, by 1 PM, I still had not received a call. Concerned, I reached out to them, only to be informed by another staff member that my car was not yet finished and that there was still another car ahead of mine. This was confusing and frustrating, considering I was the first customer that morning. After waiting another hour, I called again. This time, the manager answered and, upon my inquiry, mentioned that they were still working on my car. He seemed quite testy and unaware of which car was mine. When I described my car and the maintenance requested, he suddenly realized that my car had been ready for quite some time, claiming they had called me three times. I had not received any calls or messages. When I arrived to pick up my car, I paid for the service and asked to speak with the technician who worked on my car to ask some questions. The manager and his assistant were extremely rude and refused, stating the technician had already left. Their dismissive attitude and lack of communication were unprofessional and unacceptable. This experience not only wasted an entire workday but also left me very dissatisfied with their service. Despite being told the job would take two hours, it took far longer, with poor communication and rude customer service throughout. I will not be returning to this store for any future car maintenance needs.

The new policy for the points rewards is absolute robbery! Why do I have a time limit to use points that I've accumulated? Guess I'll shop at Walmart or Home Depot from now on. Very disappointing!

Live an hour away from the only store in the city that showed stock in what I needed. Called to confirm they had in stock and let them know I was coming from out of town. I was told yes they had it. Drove the hour to the city and was told they couldn’t find it. Staff said they’d look so I waited only to be forgotten. No apology only a oh well it happens. By this time nothing else was open so had to drive the hour home empty handed. Wasted time and gas when a they could have just done their jobs.

Took my car in for breaks last year to Canadian Tire Riverview, shortly afterwards my care kept making a clanking sound in the front end and I went back twice to ask what is that noise? Twice nothing appears to be wrong..Took it to a mechanic who put it up on the hoists right in front of me and showed me where the clips to the breaks were absent. Only one on each break pad!! I called this morning to make an appt and let them know that I finally found out the issue...and needed to address it. The buddy the answered the phone was on the defensive and tried to tell me that it was impossible for me to drive arounds for approx 1 year without!!! Ya Thinkk????? This will be my last effort to bring my car into this establishment. Be warned

If I could leave a negative score I would. Went to store on Welland ave St Catharines this morning as it showed them having a seat cover on clearance for $14.99 Found the seat cover it was still marked full price so we verified product code and store location on the internet. We also were buying several other items so I told my wife they will correct it at cash. Wrong again, a customer rep came over and said it was likely an in house deal at a different store, till we showed her on our phone the she huffed and puffed and left us standing there only to come back and say you have to come to customer service. We gathered all our items and proceeded to wait there while she talked on the phone. Another rep. Kyla said I will help you here so we shifted over to her kiosks.. She scans our items and said the machine is waiting for your input. I told her that she mis scanned another item that was $34.95 and showed $10.99 being the honest people that we are asking to ring it back in because we didn’t want the store loosing $25.00 !!! We had two gift cards that my children had given us for Father’s Day that we wanted to use and waited there looking around with no direction to help us only to say scan it there. We scanned the first one then tried the next one and she abruptly said no. Wait till it’s done processing the first one as if we were suppose to know that. Everything in me told me to throw everything back on the counter and leave and honestly if we didn’t have gift cards we would have. I was the service manager at store 128. And if I would have witnessed any customer treated like we were I would of recommended termination of employment to the owner.

Today 17 June I am on holiday coming from Europe. Because I am on holiday I carry a backpack with my passport and other essential, me and my wife arrived at your shop at 11.00 looking for a kitchen aid mixer to give as a wedding present, anyway the girl at the entrance told me To leave my backpack at the door which for me it meant that I was not trusted at your shop so I said that I don’t trust leaving my backpack with my passports near the door so I left leaving you with a potential sale of approx $500. You lost not me I still got my product elsewhere. That policy you have, you don’t trust customers why should I trust you with my backpack with our passports and other belongings

The tech on Sheppard and Mccowan spent or took 1.1 hours to screwed in screws for heat shield protector. I took the last screw off myself at work. Normal charge for service but to me to screw in the screws back in do not need a torch. This is price grouching or over pricing. Never ever will I go to Canadian Tire for any car service at this location anymore. I guarantee this. Last time

The security guard at the cedarbrae mall location in Scarborough told me my purse was considered a large bag, and it's not allowed in the store - he said he has to take it from me, picked up a black mesh bag to keep it at the front with him. I said no and started to leave and he tried following me so I started to run. I locked my bag in my vehicle - which is just as scary considering the neighborhood I was in. I went back in, and the alarm in the turnstile went off saying no entry - this is at the entry of the store. There's no other way in! They let me in, and I still left empty-handed, they only had one broken box of the item I was looking for - meanwhile the website says 12 are in stock. I'll be going to Agincourt from now on.

I just went to the Canadian Tire in Alliston to purchase patio furniture for my wife. Was a full price unit plus an umbrella for $2,146.98. Neither were sale items, just the basic price even though they use RED signage to give the appearance it’s on sale. My family and I have spent thousands of dollars a year at this store, for the past 11-1/2 years. Because I didn’t have a lot of time, I went directly to customer service and purchased these 2 items and told the staff specifically that if the box is all beat up DO NOT bring it out to me, I won’t accept it. I couldn’t believe when they rolled up with a box so obviously beat up, must have been a return, it was barely taped close, every side was beaten up, discoloured, why would you even bring that to a customer?! Supposedly it was the only box they had in store even though on line it said there were 7 in stock and would be available for pickup by 4 pm today. Felt like the staff had zero cares about customer service. My time is valuable and I received No offer to fix the situation. Said they could get one the next day from their other warehouse 10 minutes up the road – I asked if I could pick it up there since I came in town specifically to pick this up, took time off work to do this so my wife could have it right away – if someone could come with me to do that or even drive separately – Nope, that wasn’t allowed. I don’t have time for another trip into town to pick this up so I cancelled the order and had it refunded to my card. Online price to deliver would be $110.00. After so blatantly disregarding my wishes, not to mention wasting my time and even the staff’s time, an offer to deliver at your cost should have been made at the very least. I find the past year or so that the customer service at this location has tanked. I believe there is a new owner and their lack of regard for their customers is evident at all levels of this location. I have always been a strong supporter of this Canadian Brand but this is not the first issue I’ve had with this store in the last couple of years, but this has really left a bad taste in my mouth and I have no desire to ever darken the doorstep again.

2 weeks ago I bought Dyson V15, sale person push me to apply Canadian Tire Master card so many benefits I gonna have, some nice promotion etc. I pay $1500 and sales person explain me I can return even if I use Dyson in 90 days. I was happy, gift to my mom. But mom didn’t want,I have to return..Of course we open box even didn’t use just try handle vacuum and it’s absolutely new. I can’t get my $1500 back only gift cart, and pay attention, gift card expire in one year. I am shock, I am not think I need any goods $1500 from Canadian Tire in year, but I have to use or I loose my money, and of course I have to pay credit card. Very upset and do not want have business with them any more.Plus two managers was brazenly ignore my problem.Never did that mistake's,be careful with customer service,so many think deceive people.
