Not personally me but we were standing in the que waiting for them to open,but the door was slightly up. An old man ask one of the capitec consultants to assist at the Atm ,the capitec consultant refused to assist saying it's not opened yet. He was assisted by ppl in the que waiting to withdraw. Pls even if ur not open assist go extra mile

I am pregnant and I had to wait on queue while standing. When I asked for help they said I must wait in the queue. I was tired and did not even know how to stand. I was there to spend my R70 for a card that was supposed to expire in 2027 because it says chip malfunction/dexlined and I have money in my account.

Dear CEO Gerrie Fourie and Capitec Forex Management, We urgently seek your assistance with a delayed international payment to our Capitec Bank account. Despite assurances of a 3-7 day processing time, it has been over 15 working days. As per Nedbank, they have released the funds on their side. I've now been in Port Elizabeth for over 24 months. The capitec ATM at the 5 Ways Center has NEVER BEEN IN WORKING ORDER. Really, sort it out

If the was a -10 I would give this bank, I queried the unauthorised Vodacom debit order and cancelled it about two months ago, they never bothered to get back to me nor action it. I guess it is mass banking hence the extremely poor service.

Was at the branch Sam Ntuli Mall Katlehong from 11h20 it's now 14h29 not assisted. Consultants are going in and out without attending clients. Other consultants are just stationed chit chatting

The lady at Capitec Branch Preller Walk,assisting my mother sorting out a eft payment error she made on a RCS account SLEPT infront of my mother while she was on the call with RCS. Never in my life had I seen that it is OK to sleep infront of a customer!!!

What ever you save on transaction cost and admin fees you will lose on Airtime when you want to query transactions etc. Turnaround time with feedback can take WEEKS. Rather bank with more professional banks.

We paid R10000 into Sameone business account wich it was capitac to capitec but guy he didn't receive the money. When we visit to there Branch they say money is pending untill to day, been week aready waiting for they call Please guys don't use or keep money more than R3000 And those who is using capitec better change it

We want to open a business account for our small business. First time, no response and no contact. Second time got the account registered now the bank states we have to put 700,00 in the account to activate it. Went to the bank, 15/03/2024 and was told that the systems were off and that they would call me. Still haven't received a call and we explained that we don't want to re-register. We don't want another account number, we want to keep the one from the registration. What bad customer service is this? No call backs, no emails, no feedback. Sick and tired of bad customer service. Must I take my business somewhere else?

The service at the branches is good but limited. The response from the Client Care is consistently bad, unfriendly and useless. The agents are arrogant bossy and couldn't care at all about the client or their problem. The systems are pathetic and they say it can't be change. A new IT consultant is definitely recommended. Should one ask to speak to a manager one is told they can't put you through as they do not have any manager's number. Managers all seem to build a protective wall around themselves, so they don't have to deal with complaints or do anything about improving service. They are drawing fat salaries, why look for work. A truly disgusting bank.

You change your app, you pause account, you make it impossible le for someone living overseas to keep their Capitec account! As long as you are making money from the account it is fine! I cannot afford another £1000 to come sort out your admin insufficiencies. I am horrified at your actions or rather inaction and very poor customer service!

Capitec bank is worst there is no bank as bad as Capitec Bank. Every week they send me messages i must apply for a credit cart with them. Now i have applied for a credit card with my credit score of 842 so its excellent. and i do have another Fix savings account with more then R700000.00 and Permanent Job and good salary now i don't qualify for a R60000 credit card. Bull**** reason affordability. i don't own nothing on my other accounts all paid up. Why do they send letters that you can apply for a credit cart. I going to close all my accounts with this **** bank don't need them. Have my Capitec account from 2016. People this bank is bad news don't waste your time and think you going to get somewhere with Capitec. I do have 2 Credit cards with other banks and they treat me very well the only reason why i thought of applying at Capitec is to cancel the other credit cards and just use Capitec as my salary is bank at Capitec. Pathetic Service and the worst bank in South Africa On the 1st of Feb 24 I received a email from Capitec (Nadine Arendse) Stating she is trying to contact me regarding this matter. I phoned her 2 time and was told she's busy let message to phone me. She retuned my call as was apologizing about this case. and ask me to send my latest pay slip to her, I did that the same day. On the 6 Feb 24 at 7h55 I emailed and ask if there is any feedback. I send a second email at 16h20 on both emails i have received Request read receipt. On the 7th i received a email from Abigail Van Wyngaardt Kindly note we have escalated the matter to our Direct loans team for assistance with a credit application, once feedback is received, we will be in contact with you. Up to now i have not received any feedback. Pathetic service im closing my accounts asap there is better banks. Please read the media about Capitec. Just Google worst bank in South Africa. On the 16Feb 2024 i have received a SMS from this Pathetic Capitec bank. The SMS read as follow: Your credit application was declined because your employer is not listed with Compuscan. What a joke of a bank. In the mean time i have applied for a credit card one of the major banks and was approved in les then a hour. People don't waste your time with this Capitec bank there is nothing good about them. Incident# 115565366

I was defrauded of $120,000, which was a terrible experience. notified the bank and closed each and every account. Police report filed; FCA notified of anti-fraud. They discover a gap in the law requiring them to reimburse their clients for the money. In order to look into my loss, I opened a CASE VIA the KEZOOK. They gave me a satisfactory offer after they ACCEPTED helping me get my money back. I am providing this information because I am aware of how challenging this circumstance can be. They When I ask the scammers to restore MY lost money, they initially refuse to comply with the process.
